Unrest continues to brew in Israel after a right-wing Jewish mob, including members of Israel's parliament (the Knesset) broke into two Israeli military bases in an effort to PREVENT Israeli military police from detaining nine homosexual gang rapist soldiers who were under investigation for gang raping a male Palestinian prisoner at their notorious Sde Teiman prison/detention facility.

+972 Magazine's Oren Ziv, who was at one of the bases reporting on the events, says that the support of Israeli political leaders, including some members of the Knesset who participated in the pro-prisoner riots, and the apathy of the military police all indicate that those protesting against the soldiers' charges are “the face of the state,” expressing what are “mainstream” views in Israeli society.

A group of Palestinians and civil rights groups are suing the president for his alleged failure to prevent genocide in Gaza, citing violation of international and federal law, and are asking a judge to halt any additional military "aid" or diplomatic cover and support to Israel.

After several weeks of court filings between parties, the plaintiffs will have their day in court on Jan. 26, 2024, when attorneys with the U.S. Department of Justice will argue in front of a federal judge for a hearing that marks the first time that a president has faced allegations of genocide in an American courthouse.

The Biden administration is asking the court to dismiss the case. The lawsuit, which also names Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, invokes U.S. obligations to the Genocide Convention and the Genocide Convention Implementation Act, which was signed into law by then-U.S. Pres. Ronald Reagan in 1988.

Michael Chertoff, the new head of the Department of Homeland Security, was approved in a 98-0 vote in the U.S. Senate without the question of his Israeli roots "and nationality" even being raised.

On February 15, 2005, Michael Chertoff -- an apparent dual national with Israeli roots -- was sworn in as the second Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The new "homeland security czar," who oversees the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, seems to be hiding his own dual-national status with the cooperation of the controlled press.

Although the media scrutinized Bernard Kerik, President George W. Bush's first choice to head DHS, had uncovered embarrassing details about his mother, there was no discussion of Chertoff's mother, who played a noteworthy role in the creation of the Zionist state in Palestine.

The omission of Chertoff's mother's Zionist past suggests that there is an effort by the media to conceal his ties to Israel and his status as a "de jure" Israeli national, by birth.
