The Emerald Tablets of Thoth-the-Atlantean

Through the works of Zecharia Sitchin and other scholars of ancient Sumerian, Babylonian, and Akkadian texts, a connection has been posited between the Sumerian and Egyptian pantheons of "gods" [gods = ancient astronauts = Buddhist sky devas].

To those who have gained wisdom using this knowledge, it is more than a connection. One of the primary tenets of the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis is that the Sumerian gods were real beings -- not just a mythological construct of Earth's earliest documented civilization.
