Super cities, highways under Mexican jungle

What scientists just discovered under this jungle shocks the world
(Leaf of Life) June 25, 2023: Many new mysteries and discoveries are being uncovered: Buried beneath the last dense jungles of planet earth are hidden mysterious that are only just coming to light.

Over the last few centuries, wonders of the world have been uncovered in the Americas, particularly in the dense jungles using the new technological advancement called LiDAR (which has also found equally surprising advanced architecture in the jungles of Buddhist Cambodia).

But who knew that we were just scratching the surface? In a world-shattering revelation, technological advancements reveal what scientists were never able to see hidden beneath the dense jungle canopy. What they found is beyond anything they could have imagined.

Who has what it takes to stomach the truth? Join us as we unveil the cosmic mysteries that lie beneath the trees.

In Meso- and Central American tropical forests, one of Mother Nature's last lungs, it's a dense, impenetrable, hot, humid environment, teeming with life and biting insects, 35 million hectares of it.

This forest is as big as Germany. It's one of the largest tropical rainforests left on planet earth, making others on planet look tiny in comparison.

Trying to solve a mystery inside this jungle is like looking for a needle in a haystack. This giant expanse of trees spans across three countries:

In the north is Mexico, to the southwest is Guatemala, and to the southeast is Belize. This forest spreads as far out as the Caribbean coastline. Centuries ago, it stretched even farther, as far south as El Salvador and Honduras.

This is not any old jungle. It's known as the Forest of the Maya and hides some of the most perplexing mysteries known to humankind. The sheer size of the jungle, with its thick under story of green plants and creeping vines makes the place extremely hostile for the untrained.

For archeologists and geologists, it has been a challenge to find the ancient megalithic sites an extremely advanced civilization left behind almost a millennia ago.

What has already been uncovered is only a fraction of what once were super cities, not just one but thousands of urban centers that supported millions of inhabitants, just like mega cities today but far more advanced than we have ever dreamed.

It may seem crazy to imagine what was going on here, but LiDAR technology is mapping out what is beneath a thick canopy cover. What is being discovered is something that was thought entirely impossible [unless the stories of El Dorado were to be believed].

The latest LiDAR technology allows scientists to map the forest floor without having to disturb or dig anything up. This technology is expensive and used only a handful of times, but what it has done is give scientists a kind of X-ray vision.

What they are seeing is perplexing that it has left them scratching their heads in confusion. What is it? Find out.

Mexican solution to invasive seaweed problem

How bricks made from invasive seaweed clean Mexico's beaches | World Wide Waste | Insider Business
(Insider Business) July 21, 2023: Millions of tons of smelly sargassum seaweed wash up on beaches across North [and Meso-] America every year. Exposure can lead to breathing problems, and it costs millions to clean it up. Now, one Mexican entrepreneur is building houses out of bricks made from the invasive species with no odor and excellent durability, recyclability, and insulating properties. #seaweed
