(Reuters) Three civil servants were killed in a roadside bomb attack and a Muslim employee of the rubber industry shot dead by suspected insurgents in Thailand, police said. The attacks took place in Yala and Narathiwat, two mainly Muslim provinces near the Malaysian border where close to 3,500 people have died violently since 2004. Suspected Muslim rebels detonated the roadside bomb as the civil servants drove along a road in Yala. The survivors returned fire and four more were wounded in the 15-minute gunfight that followed, police said. More>>
