(NBCLA) Started streaming June 10, 2025: LIVE: Traffic was at a standstill in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) after peaceful demonstrators and unruly protesters walked onto the 101 Freeway, angering commuters and infuriating authorities who will do anything to clear the roads for commerce even if that means breaking heads, bones, and possibly killing citizens exercising their right to dissent and make their wishes known to their local and federal governments: 4.nbcla.com/YtQwefS / Live: Downtown LA protests
UPDATE: In Los Angeles, mass street protests have broken out in response to immigration raids. Local police and Border Patrol are cracking down on peaceful demonstrators and ardent protesters, while the Trump administration has called in the California National Guard without consulting California's governor yet lying about doing so. “They shot thousands of rounds of tear gas, flashbang grenades, all kinds of repressive instruments,” says Ron Gochez, community organizer with Unión del Barrio ["Union of the Neighborhood" or "Neighborhood Unity"] who helped organize some of the protests.
ProtestsUnrest Inconvenience in LA: Protesters take over downtown freeways, Waymo cars set on fire
(NBCLA) Sunday, June 8, 2025: There’s still no timeline of how long federal paramilitary stormtroopers deployed by Trump (aka National Guard troops) will stay in Los Angeles.
TROUBLEMAKING TRUMP: As protests against ICE raids spread across the city, would-be king Pres. Trump has deployed the California National Guard to Los Angeles, the first time in decades that a president has deployed the National Guard without a governor’s request. Trump’s border “Czar” Tom Homan [architect of Project 2025] threatened to arrest California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, while Gov. Newsom says he plans to sue Trump. “This is absolutely unprecedented. It’s extremely dangerous,” says legal expert Elizabeth Goitein. “It’s going to escalate tensions rather than deescalating them.” “Absolutely unprecedented” | Democracy Now!

Jon Stewart and Ronny Chieng on Dems calling GOP “weird” and Trump’s racist rebuttal | The Daily Show
You want the job, Michael? - Hell no, Devi.
(The Daily Show)
Aug. 3, 2024: Hosts Jon Stewart and Ronny Chieng cover a wild week of news after Joe Biden [died, disappeared, or was forced to] step aside for VP Kamala Harris to ascend to be the country's first female president.
Trump loves Jews, genocide, and Bibi's Israel
And she would be the first East Indian, and maybe even the first non-African American Black president [except for the first eight before the Articles of Confederation were drafted, but we do not speak of those early Black leaders because it would steal the shine from half-Black B.S. Obama], if only she does not fumble with her choice of running mates, picking a disastrous VP like Shapiro or Kelly.
While Zoom rooms and Megan Thee Stallion get hot for Harris, DJ Trump's campaign stumbles, with JD Vance humping sofas, attacking cat ladies, and annoying the mainstream media which is all aboard the Kami Train, and Trump making racist remarks to a group of Black journalists who invited him to hurl hard questions in his direction.
I hitched us to the right wagon train, Baby! - I know. I love you, future President JD.
. Former hedge fund manager and economic forecaster Martin Armstrong shared insights from his groundbreaking predictive computer program "Socrates."
Armstrong created the software in the 1970s to track global capital movements, and it accurately forecasted major financial events such as the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash.
He soon discovered his code's potential to predict a wide range of global events.
"If there's going to be a war, somebody knows in advance, and they start moving their money," he states. Armstrong recalls the moment when his program predicted the onset of civil war in Lebanon.
"It said the country would fall apart in eight days…[and] eight days later, the civil war began," he recounts. He also insists that Socrates anticipated the COVID-19 outbreak.
"It was more or less orchestrated," he says, before revealing that powerful executives knew the virus was coming [like Bill Gates promised it would].
The conversation touches on the political landscape, with Armstrong sharing that Socrates predicted a Republican victory in the 2024 elections.
"It doesn't matter who the candidate is," he explains. While on the topic of current events, he addresses escalating global tensions, particularly the potential for World War III.
He notes that various governments in Europe are preparing for conflict, warning that "everybody over there...just wants war."
Armstrong expresses concern about the rhetoric surrounding nuclear threats, criticizing the belief that "Russia will never push the button."
Predicting significant changes by 2032, he claims, "You're looking at the end of republics," and expresses his hope for a shift towards real democracy. AUDIO: Psychic Software | Coast to Coast AM

Hardcore followers of Donald Trump [MAGAots] are calling for riots, insurrection, and assassination after the disgraced candidate and loser (in court) was convicted of falsifying business records (which is financial fraud and a felony in NY) on [May 30].
A New York jury found the former president guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying records to cover up payments to porn star Stormy Daniels as part of a conspiracy to influence the outcome of the 2016 election -- the last part being what made all of these acts felonies.
Let's go to prison together. I'll be your cellmate
Republican politicians widely refused to accept the verdict from the Manhattan trial, decrying the process using Trump's own catchy and oft-repeated slogans, such as: "rigged," "corrupt," "ridiculous," and "bullsh*t."
However, in messages seen by The Independent, and others reported by Reuters, Trump loyalists on right-wing social networks went much further: "Find the jurors. All of them. Take no prisoners [which is to say, KILL them]," wrote one user on a Trump-focused message board.
Some posts used coded language, such as one which urged "short drops" – that is, execution by hanging [as MAGAots planned for VP Pence on Jan. 6th during the minor uprising in D.C.] – for the people responsible for Trump's [negative outcome at] trial.
Rise up, Patriots, and send in money to the Leader
[It is odd that MAGAots are this made in what is just the second trial in a row that Donald "Winner" Trump has lost. Remember? He was just fined and forced to cough up half a billion dollars or risk losing his properties. That was about rape, sexual abuse, and defamation. This is about financial fraud. But he faces three much more serious trials to come, during which he is almost certainly going to be sent to prison related to election tampering and that tiny insurrection he fomented and called on his MAGAots to carry out for him, promising he would protect them from prosecution for their felonies, treason, and violence. Did he? Oops. He's all about No. 1.]

Another user replied with "short walks and long drops," plus a helicopter emoji – an apparent reference to gruesome violence called "death flights" such as those used by right-wing dictators in Argentina and Chile to dispose of dissidents by throwing them out of helicopters so they plunge to their deaths.
One post seen by Reuters claimed that "someone in New York with nothing to lose needs to take care of [Judge] Merchan," referring to the judge who oversaw the trial, while another declared: "Time to start capping [murdering with bullets] some lefties." More + VIDEO
Disastrous post-conviction press conference, MAGA nuts kiss ass with cringey tributes
(Jimmy Kimmel Live) May 31, 2024: Trump scored the most guilty verdicts of any president ever yesterday, there are still three other felony cases against him, each for much more serious crimes, the tributes have been pouring in for our ex-president, he held a doozy of a braindead press conference this morning at Trump Tower, his attorney Todd "the Scowl" Blanche made the opposite of a victory lap on cable news, Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11th which is four days before the Republican National Convention (where he would likely have become the Republican's 2024 candidate), his campaign claims that they raked in more than $34 million dollars yesterday in donations (one for each felony), Pres. Genocide Joe played host to Swiftie footballer Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, GramPOTUS weighed in on the legal follies yesterday, and here's a look back at all of the predictions Donald made about life under Biden in 2020 (all of which turned out to be Trump lies). #Kimmel
What did Trump know about 2020 election results? (Democracy on Trial: Pt. 3)
(FRONTLINE Short Docs) What did former President Trump know about the 2020 election results and when did he know it? That was a central question for the Jan. 6 Select Committee.
Watch Part 3 of “Democracy on Trial.”
In it, published here as a series of short docs, FRONTLINE investigates the roots of the federal criminal case against ex-Pres. Donald Trump, stemming from his 2020 election loss.
The investigation traces the road to this unprecedented moment and examines the implications of the historic criminal case unfolding in the midst of a presidential election year.
Drawing on court documents and revelatory interviews with elected officials, former government lawyers, House Select Committee witnesses, and former committee staffers, authors, and journalists, “Democracy on Trial” reports that the work of the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6th Capitol attack provided the groundwork for special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump and may offer insights into how the trial unfolds.
A "confidence man is a "con man."
“Democracy on Trial” chronicles how the committee built its case against Trump and tried to prove his intent, how it chose to present its case to the American public, and criticisms of its work.
The documentary also examines how Trump has challenged the case. Trump has pleaded not guilty and made the legal argument, now being reviewed by an appellate court, that he has “absolute immunity” from prosecution for his actions while in office.
“Democracy on Trial” is a FRONTLINE production with the Kirk Documentary Group. The director is Michael Kirk. The producers are Michael Kirk, Mike Wiser, and Vanessa Fica. The writers are Michael Kirk and Mike Wiser. The reporters are Vanessa Fica and Brooke Nelson Alexander. The editor-in-chief and executive producer of FRONTLINE is Raney Aronson-Rath. #Documentary #DonaldTrump #January6 Subscribe on YouTube: bit.ly/1BycsJW Instagram: frontlinepbs Twitter: frontlinepbs Facebook: frontline.
