Happy World Chocolate Day (7/7)

I must be a hybrid space alien-terrestrial human Earthling because I love sweet cacao paste.
.
I'm a substitute love drug, so go easy.
Today is World Chocolate Day. But there's always tomorrow, which allows for the addition of almonds. What joy!
Chocolate in its rawest form: fruit
We look forward to National Chocolate with Almonds Day when it pops up on our calendar every July 8 (NATIONAL CHOCOLATE WITH ALMONDS DAY, July 8, 2025) and we celebrate one of the world’s most popular confections.
We at NT confess, this national day is not just another day we circle on our calendar. We also add this one to our to-do list for today so we don’t miss out. We know we really don’t need a special day on the calendar to indulge in one of our favorite guilty pleasures.

Mexico invented chocolate (Aztec Codex)
But doesn’t having a day on the calendar to celebrate such a heavenly confection help negate the guilty part of a guilty pleasure? We think so.

Today, we are indulging unashamedly because chocolate [Theobroma cacao fruit seeds or nibs] and almonds are incredibly satisfying. This makes us wonder if the reason we crave chocolate with almonds and find the combination so satisfying is because our bodies know what is good for us [like the "gods" or theo knew, presumably because they were advanced alien life forms looking for high antioxidant foods].

[Dark] Chocolate and almonds both are separately documented to have heart health benefits. More

Drug abusing Elon Musk fires himself

Whoa. Man, Joe Rogan, you gotta blow some of this primo herb or synthetic THC like me.

Get behind me, Baldy. - Yes, Sir, Mr. Trump.
South Afrikaner Elon Musk, reputedly the richest man in the world (founder of PayPal, head of Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, BoringNeuralink Corporation, and DOGE, future king of Mars), has fired himself to save the government money -- and Tesla share's plummeting value. He is getting back to work, except he's always working. How? Drugs -- Adderall (speed), acid (LSD), Special K (ketamine), Molly (MDMA, Ecstasy), magic mushrooms (psilocybin), weed (THC), and whatever else he carries around in a special box for emergency use. Every day is an emergency when one is jumping around, kissing up to Trump, slashing jobs, and trying to salvage his reputation on the world stage to keep working for the government.

Trump tries to lie to Barbara Walters but fails.

Elon's drug use, abuse, and addiction?

He is now reportedly one step closer to settling the ridiculous lawsuit he filed against 60 minutes, he now says he plans to give Russia's Vlad Putin “two weeks” to prove they are serious about a peace deal with Ukraine [otherwise he's going to let them go Israel on Zelensky's butt], America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani wore a crazy outfit, FBI Director Kash "Cross Eyed" Patel sat for an interview with Fox News (swearing pedophile Jeff Epstein was not murdered), RFK Jr. made an announcement about COVID vaccines, and Cousin Micki teaches us where babies come from.

Israel's Bibi Netanyahu penis surgery

Ashkenazi troops for Bibi: Support our warlord
Sympathy for the Devil, they say, is not a good thing. But, c'mon, it's Prime Minister Netanyahu's penile prostate tumor, and his junk is being operated on. Ouch. Even the Devil has got to be hating it. A UTI (urinary tract infection) seems to be coursing through the dictator's [Balzac] and the defiant man is in great pain right where it counts, right when it counts. The disease state and surgery have, however, helped him avoid prosecution for corruption by making him unavailable to provide deceptive testimony and/or evidence.

Benjamin Netanyahu to undergo prostate removal surgery after UTI
(New York Post) Dec. 29, 2024: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was set to undergo prostate removal surgery on Sunday — just a week after being diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. Netanyahu, 75, was going under the knife at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, with the operation taking place as the PM manages multiple wars with Palestine, Lebanon, Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran’s terror proxies. He is also facing his own corruption trial. Netanyahu’s surgery was expected to take two hours as doctors tackle “a benign enlargement [aka tumor] of his prostate,” the prime minister’s office said in a very carefully crafted statement. Israeli PM Netanyahu News LIVE | Netanyahu to undergo prostate surgery | view of hospital Hadassah

Prostate makes semen.
(CNN-News18) Streamed Sunday morning, Dec. 29, 2024. Benny Netanyahu, the entrenched and CIA-backed prime minister of Israel, will have his prostate -- which is accessed through the anus -- removed during surgery on Sunday while under complete anesthesia, which is a life-threatening condition.

Will he still be a "man" without it? Probably, but he's sure to be more sympathetic to trans and LGBTQIA+ individuals than he already is, forcibly inducting and welcoming them into his war machine. Netanyahu's office reported that during the prime minister's examination at the Hadassah Hospital on Wednesday, an infection in the urinary tract caused by a benign enlargement of the prostate was found.
Doctors decided to proceed with the operation even though "he's received antibiotic treatment that eradicated the infection since then, for a few days." With so many people sending him animosity, hatred, and evil wishes around the world, it is not clear if he can avoid serious post-surgical complications.

But his Shin Bet, Mossad, IDF, CIA apparatus, and PR firm are sure to keep any of that from the public, presenting him as a competent leader in times of endless war, genocide, and Middle East conquest. Will his wife leave him like Assad's wife did after he was deposed and depressed, penniless and stuck in Moscow, Russia? There is much more money in staying, so the public face of their marriage should be fine.

'Desert Daze' cancels 2024 festival

Desert Daze cancels 2024 festival
We're lost, just admit it, we're lost. - We're not lost. There are other things to do out here.

Turn around. Show cancelled.
(Billboard) Organizers for the California festival Desert Daze have called off this year's event. In an announcement organizers stated:

"It is no longer possible to execute the weekend as planned." The event, which has remained independent since launching in 2012, was unable to move forward with the 2024 edition due to "rising production costs and the current volatile festival market," according to the announcement.

Yeah, I'll walk back. Is it this way?
"Desert Daze is more than a festival or business venture to us," said Desert Daze co-founder Phil Pirrone in a release. "The community that we've cultivated together means so much to us and is the reason we will work to find a way to keep this beautiful thing going for many years to come."
.
The 2024 edition of Desert Daze was set to take place Oct. 10-13 in Lake Perris, California. Headliners for this year's event were to include:
Super-ancient Buddhist stupa with parasol top, according to chinesediscoveredamerica.com
.
What else is there to do in the desert? UFO hunt?
"With each year, we do our best to serve the Desert Daze community," added Pirrone. "We are always learning and working diligently to improve the experience, and we tried everything to find a way forward this year. While we hit pause for now, we will be working in the background to deliver another special experience for all of us to share in the future. We thank you for your support."

We should move out to the California desert.
All pass holders for the 2024 festival will be refunded and will be contacted directly via their point of purchase. While the main event will not take place this year, side shows under the Desert Daze Presents banner will go forward as scheduled.

Stronger than DMT: Bufo toad venom (VICE)

VICE, Oct. 28, 2023; Eds., Wisdom Quarterly
What is the true nature of reality? The brain needs an attitude adjustment with plant medicine.

The toad venom that's stronger than DMT: Bufo | High Society
(VICE) Tulum, Mexico, is experiencing an explosion of people taking Bufo alvarius. Also called “speed-toading,” taking it involves smoking the milked poison of the Sonoran Desert toad in a glass pipe.

What kind of "toad" is Leo Moracchioli on?
It (5-MeO-DMT) is considered to be the most powerful hallucinogen in the world. Now, growing numbers of psychedelic American tourists are traveling to Tulum, where Bufo ceremonies are legal, in search of a life-changing experience.

However, there are reports of profoundly negative experiences, lasting psychosis and allegations of sexual assault during ceremonies.

Suddenly, it all made sense...then it slipped away
VICE’s Matt Shea visits Tulum to see and directly experience Bufo tourism firsthand, to discover whether taking the world’s most powerful hallucinogen is worth the risk.

    Cancer-curing mushroom is Himalayan Viagra

BBC News, July 17, 2018; CC Liu, Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Bhutanese Buddhist monasteries are strange since someone discovered "Himalayan Viagra."

A mushroom aphrodisiac? It cures cancer or in any case treats it? Today the BBC News in America (Los Angeles version) did a story on "Himalayan Viagra" in Nepal. Talk about blue ba... It turns out this wasn't the first time the BBC covered the world's most expensive fungus, cordyceps, a zombie fungus spread by ants to caterpillars in a move reminiscent of toxoplasmosis, the cat-poop disease millions of American women are suffering from without knowing it, as a parasite zombifies their brains and makes them act out in dangerous ways (all so the parasite can complete its life cycle, moving between two opposing species of animals, mice to cats).
    .
The perilous search for 'Himalayan Viagra'
(BBC News) More valuable than gold, yarsagumba (cordyceps) fungus is only found in the Himalayan mountains above 10,000 feet (3,000 meters). It is called "Himalayan Viagra" (Ophiocordyceps sinensis). Every spring poor peasant people come from miles around to search for the precious crop, which [in 2018] sold for more than $100 a gram (and now sells for US $280 a gram, with 1,000 grams being in a kilo or kg) across Asia and the U.S. Produced by: Aamir Peerzada. Shot/edited: Neha Sharma.

    Skyrocketing cost
(Wiki edited by WQ) In 2013 the world's most expensive fungus (more valuable than European truffles) was 125,000–500,000 yuan per kilogram.

Because of its high value, inter-village conflicts over access to its grassland habitats has become a headache for the local governing bodies and in several cases people were killed.

In November 2011, a court in Nepal convicted 19 villagers over the murder of a group of farmers during a fight over the prized aphrodisiac fungus. Seven farmers were killed in the remote northern District of Manang in June 2009 after going to forage for yarcha-gumba [32].

Are these mushrooms blue? Like my ba...
Its value gave it a role in the Nepalese Civil War, as the Nepalese Maoists and government forces fought for control of the lucrative export trade during the June–July harvest season [33].

Collecting yarcha gumba in Nepal had only been legalized in 2001, and now demand is highest in countries such as China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan.

By 2002, the insect "herb" was valued at R 105,000 rupees ($1,435) per kilogram, allowing the government to charge a royalty of R 20,000 ($280 tax per kilogram).
    • Currently it can be found on amazon.com for $277.78 per ounce. It's not vegan. It's a dead insect full of fungus, killed by an ant and enervated by mycelium. But American entrepreneur Ron Teeguarden traveled to the Himalayas, found it, figured out a way to produce a VEGAN version of the mycelia, moved to Bhutan, married a Bhutanese Buddhist woman, went into business in America and Bhutan, and now has a fine line of tonic herbs under the brand name Dragon Herbs (DragonHerbs.com). It is much more reasonably priced, as it can be grown indoors in a tub without killing caterpillars or any other insect.
