(ABC 7; WKMG News 6, June 1, 2021) BRADBURY, L.A. County, California - ‘Oh my gawd, I just pushed a bear!’
It's our grisly apex predator in California.
Viral video shows teenage girl protecting dogs from bear attack. Whether it was bravery or just plain protective mothering instincts -- a bear and her cubs versus a girl and her loves -- this teenage girl, Hailey Morinico, 17, was able to fight off a bear by knocking it off her wall as it was attacking her "babies" to defend the family's pet dogs with her bare hands. It was face to face, man vs. beast, human vs. animal struggle caught on surveillance camera.
