Why are so many people leaving the church? (according to the church)
(Belief It Or Not hosted by Trevor Poelman, 11/18/20) Let's do a bit of a deep dive to find out the reasons the church is giving to explain why so many people are no longer attending church.

What are the answers from pastors and apologists? From "they just want to sin," to "they never really believed in the first place," to "because of evolution," we see how similar a lot of responses from mostly old guys are. Then some thoughts are presented as to why it's happening.
Mr. Show with Bob and Davidwas a brilliant and hilarious American sketch comedy series starring and hosted by Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. It aired on HBO from 1995 to 1998. The HSN or Hail SatanNetwork sketch (Season 3, Episode 1) was particularly insightful, as it mocked hypocritical Christian programming by imagining a show dedicated to the Dark Lord with all the same tropes televangelists exploit.
