We choose our suffering (Edgar Cayce)

The struggle to meditate sucks. Being there, ah!
Edgar Cayce (A.R.E. or Association for Research and Enlightenment) conducted trance-channel readings that revealed a great deal more than he the man could have known. The council or collective that came through brought forth much understanding.

Our suffering is not necessarily accidental. While bad, offensive, and sometimes insufferable, there is something that could be learned if we would view it that way.

The Aggregates that experience are dukkha.
What is "suffering"? The Buddha often spoke of it long before Cayce, so it might be good to ask him, as this is a very misunderstood term. The ancient term is dukkha, "disappointment," "unsatisfactoriness," the range of the unpleasant between annoyance and agony. The Buddha defined suffering this way:

An Exploration of Anicca, Anatta, and Dukkha in Buddhism – Indo-Buddhist Heritage Forum
.
Suffering is much more than one thing.
"Rebirth is suffering, aging is suffering, death is suffering; sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief, and despair are suffering; contact with what is disliked is suffering; separation from what is liked is suffering; not getting what one wants is suffering. In short, the Five Aggregates clung to as self are suffering [unsatisfactory, disappointing, unable to fulfill, associated with pain]" (SN 56.11).
  • Hey, why talk about it? Why doesn't the B shut up already? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we suffer. Got it. That's clear enough. We're doing everything we can to AVOID it. So the less we talk about it, the better we'll feel. Duh! Become a hedonist. And shut yer yapper, O Great One.
Sadly, this view has been prevalent since before the time of the Buddha, so when the Buddha, the Awakened One, bothered to mention this ugly word, dukkha ("suffering"), were people or devas happy to hear it? No way. That's the last thing they wanted to hear about.

Pain is inevitable, but suffering's optional.
This is where the misunderstanding begins, and it could end here if hearers would just put away their aversion and LISTEN. A doctor comes in with the results of your scan and examination. Want to hear what's wrong? No way, just get right to the cure! Let's only talk about perfect health. What's it going to take? It's going to take all that? Forget it. I'll keep my illness. Why, I never... It's only when we see how bad and big the problem is that we adopt the right view about it and are open to the cure.

Hacking of the American Mind
The Buddha would have had a much nicer time to only speak positively and in an "airy fairy" sort of way, doling out magic, bliss, sprinkles, blessings, smiles, good cheer, good news, and the energy of a modern motivational speaker. He could have just told everyone who came to him in pain, confused, or ignorant, "That's right, you're doing great, attaboy, right on, keep it up!" They would have been so happy to hear it. But because he understood and was willing to show us the awful truth, he came to be called the Master Physician. He never met a kind of pain he couldn't cure. The first step? Recognition. Second step? Cause or diagnosis. Third step? Assessment or prognosis. Fourth step? (This is the best one!) The cure, solution, course of treatment, the way to fix what's broken as described in the first step.

"Suffering"?
I can take it because I'm a bodhisattva. Ouch!!!
No single English word captures the range, depth, and subtlety of the ancient Pali and Sanskrit term dukkha. Many translations try ("disappointment," "suffering," "unsatisfactoriness," "stress," etc.) Each captures part of the meaning in a given context. There is value in realizing more than one term is needed because the thrust of Buddhist practice is broadening and deepening the understanding of a term so important to the Buddha that he often claimed to only teach two things -- what is dukkha and what is the elimination of dukkha. Until its roots are finally exposed and eradicated, we will not understand why he focused almost as much on the problem as its solution. When landing on the single best English translation, think again. No matter how we translate dukkha, it's always subtler, deeper, and less satisfactory than that.

Hidden Holy Place in Buddhist mythology

Eds., Wisdom Quarterly; Chinese Buddhist Encyclopedia (ChinaBuddhismEncyclopedia.com)

Shambhala has a sort of downward extension. It is a subterranean region known as Agharti or Agarttha, the “inaccessible.” This place, it seems, has a large population and spreads a long way underground.

The leader of Shambhala rules over Aghartha also. Lamas who spoke of him to travelers early in the 20th century described him as the "King of the World"... More

Bridget? No, Maria O.
Bridget Nielsen of Sedona talks about the civilizations that inhabit Middle Earth, which supports the hollow earth theory. In spiritual circles this is commonly known as the networks of Agartha, which are comprised of many underground crystal cities such as Telos inside Mt. Shasta.

The most compelling story was shared on Cosmic Disclosure hosted by David Wilcock (formerly Edgar Cayce in a past life).

Corey Goode shared his experience of meeting with these beings during his Inner Earth experience: spherebeingalliance.com. Source

Great Pyramid; Hall of Records found! (video)

Egyptian discovery: Hall of Records found!

(Aug. 27, 2017) Many people believe that the key to understanding human civilization and history is hidden in the akashic Hall of Records made known by American psychic Edgar Cayce (now Gaiam TV's David Wilcock of divinecosmos.com). There are a number of references to this mysterious hall, which has now possibly been rediscovered under the pyramids in Giza, Egypt.

Sphinx when found before reconstruction
One possibility includes the "cave underworld" or ground under the enigmatic Sphinx of Giza, which oversees the Giza Pyramids.

If the underground record hall and library has been discovered, and we are told about it by those who would rather keep such discoveries to themselves, it would change history and the origin of the Ancient Egyptian civilization forever.

It is believed that the Hall of Records [with two corresponding halls, an Atlantean one around Bimini Island in the Bahamas and another in Mesoamerica in the Yucatan Peninsula (view from space) near the river border of Mexico and Guatemala (named after the Buddha Gautama, according to researcher and author Rick Fields) at a Mayan temple site called Piedras Negras ("Black Rocks"), see Min. 7:37] holds more than the history of the Ancient Egyptians recorded on ancient papyrus scrolls. It contains the history and the location of the lost continent of Atlantis (Aztlan).

The Yucatan Hall of Records
(UFO TV/edgarcayce.org...) The Yucatan Hall of Records: The Atlantis Connection, 2015

Edgar Cayce’s three Atlantean Halls of Records were located in (1) Egypt near the Sphinx, (2) underwater near Bimini, and (3) in the Yucatan near the ancient Mayan city of Piedras Negras in Guatemala. The third location was not specifically named by Cayce, but from clues and details given in several Cayce readings, researchers in the 1930s determined that Piedras Negras must be the correct location. The Cayce readings state that the records were preserved prior to the final destruction of Atlantis around 10,500 BCE. Stone tablets, linens, gold, and other artifacts are stored in the three halls. The records contain the entire history of humanity including the beginnings “when the Spirit took form or began the encasements” in physical bodies in the ancient lands of Mu and Atlantis. They also contain information about the ancient practice of building pyramids. An update on the status of each follows: More

The Egyptian Hall of Records has the same significance as the Great Library of Alexandria, which holds the history of the Ancient Greek civilization.

Writer and explorer Andrew Collins has become a prominent force in uncovering evidence of lost cave systems at the Giza Plateau in Egypt, as written about in his book Beneath the Pyramids.

This cave underworld was lost for nearly 200 years [after British and Italian rediscovery] and explored again for the first time in 2008 by a team working with Andrew Collins.

Collins recounts the breathtaking rediscovery of Giza’s lost world while revealing that the pyramids were designed to reflect the influence of the Cygnus constellation, the source of powerful cosmic rays that might well have affected human evolution in the past and could well prove to be the key to understanding the current rise in human consciousness.

Cosmic winds, light, echoes (video)

Amber Larson (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly; Nadia Drake (Phenomena, NatGeo, May 5, 2014)

Light echoes act as astronomical time machines or portals to the past.

On Earth, echoes are produced when sound waves bounce around like pinballs. In space, echoes are produced when light does the bouncing.
Just as sounds can echo -- so, too, can cosmic light. But instead of ricocheting off damp cavern walls, light traveling through the universe bounces off soft, dusty clouds.

Sometimes, this happens after an explosive event such a supernova. On Earth, most of the light we’d see from one of these exploding stars would have come directly here. But supernovas explode in three dimensions, sending light in all directions. Not all of that light is aimed toward Earth. If the geometry is right, some of the light... More

SUTRA: In the Sky
Nyanaponika Thera (trans.) Akasa Sutta (1) (SN 36.12); Dhr. Seven (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly
"In the sky, O meditators, various kinds of [solar, cosmic, magnetic] winds are blowing: winds from the east, west, north and south, winds carrying dust and winds without dust, winds hot and cold, gentle and fierce.
  • ["Wind" or vayo (prana, chi, spiritus) is regarded as the source of movement, the invisible animating principle as it were, in the body.]
"Similarly, meditators, there arise in this body various kinds of feelings: pleasant feelings arise, painful feelings arise, and neutral feelings arise."

Illusion of expanding dust cloud (NASA/ESA/H.E.Bond)
Just as in the sky above winds of various kinds are blowing:
Coming from the east or west, moving from the north or south,
Some carry dust and others not, cold are some and others hot,
Some are fierce and others mild -- their varied moving style.
So also in this body here, feelings of different kind arise:
The pleasant feelings and the painful and the neutral ones.
But if a meditator is vigilant and persistent
To practice mindfulness and comprehension clear,
The nature of all feelings will one understand,
And having penetrated them, one will be taint-free in this very life.
Mature in knowledge, firm in Dharma's ways,
Then once one's lifespan ends, this body breaks,

And all measure and concept one has transcended.
[This last line is an allusion to nirvana.]

"Form is full of potential."
This is Part 1 of the film "Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds" (REM Publishing Ltd.).

Akasha (space, Buddhist kalapas particle-wavelets, aether, etheric field, primordial stuff, primary substance, the yin to prana's yang) is the unmanifested, the nothing ("no thing") or emptiness which fills the vacuum of space.

Vedic deities (Clio7/flickr)
As Einstein realized, empty space is not really empty. Saints, sages, and yogis who have looked within themselves have also realized that within the emptiness is unfathomable power, a web of information or energy which connects all things.

This matrix or web has been called the Logos (the "Word," "I say"), the Higgs Field, the primordial OM, and has been known by a thousand other names throughout history.

Yogi meditating on Brahma(n)
The first part of "Inner Worlds" explores the one vibratory source that extends through all things, through the science of cymatics, the concept of the Logos, and the Vedic concept of Nada Brahma (the universe as sound or vibration).

Once we realize that there is one vibratory source that is the root of all scientific and spiritual investigation, how can anyone say "my religion," "my God," "my discovery," or ["my film"]?

About the makers
The Buddha, Sakka (Indra), and Brahma
Several people have already tried to re-upload the film and monetize their channel and/or make a profit from selling the film without permission or to build subscribers. It is hard to know people's true motivation, which is sometimes something even they do not know.

The Awaken The World Film channel contains closed captions in many languages so that versions of the film do not spread in the absence of professional translations.

When users subscribe to the ATWF channel they can be provided with future films as they are released. This is just the first of many films to come; the second is already in the works.

The channel also provides links to the Website and Facebook page and the opportunity for viewers to donate to the Awaken the World initiative. Support is needed to make these films. For while they may be made available for free, donations are really appreciated. Viewers may also offer their translation skills or other support.
