Using Trigonometry, how far is the Moon from Earth?

This video was made by SmokeScreen Design in response to Reds Rhetoric's video responding to the great Jeranism about how far the Moon is from Earth.

Watch this video because it shows HOW globe-earthers calculate bodies visible from Earth when they assume Earth is a ball (or oblate spheroid). Is trigonometry the correct way to calculate objects in the air visible from standing on a flat (contoured) Earth? Due to the perspective issue, it may not be.

However, for the purpose of making a trigonometry point in this video is okay to do so because globe-earthers do not take that small margin of error (called perspective) into account anyway. How far is the Sun?
First of all, no line of light reflects from a ball, where it only shows as a spot. Look at lights on a wet street being reflected from cars in the distance. Now shine a flashlight at a shiny metallic (globe) ball and note that there is no line but only a shiny spot. Now look at the setting sun shining on the wet sea; it's a line. It should be a spot if the earth and the ocean on it were curved.

(Mike Helmick, July 15, 2017) How close is the sun? Christian says it's a trick because the sun is not even here in our dimension to be reached by rockets but in another heavenly dimension. Its light is not far, which indicates that the Earth is flat and that we CAN trust our eyes over other people's math. When the math is done assuming the earth is flat, the math accords with what we can see for ourselves and test, and repeat, and demonstrate empirically. The sun and its light is much closer than we are told. Why? It is either about 3,000 (3 thousand) miles away or 93,000,000 (93 million) miles away like NASA claims.

The biggest Web protest ever
(Huff Post) Over 7,000 websites -- including Wikipedia and Google -- will protest anti-piracy legislation on Jan. 18, 2012. Corporate-friendly legislation is currently making its way through Congress. Sites in opposition to the measures are either "going dark" or posting information to educate visitors about bills H.R. 3261 (SOPA) and S. 968 (PIPA) that will give government and multinational corporations legal control of the Web. ("Fascism" is the wedding of these two bodies). Claiming to curb copyright infringement, they aim to curb a lot more than that. Many may support the bills' alleged intentions. But opponents and civil libertarians are worried that their passage would give government powerful censorship tools threatening free speech:

As Marduk2012 has indicated, if one tries to check the sky map on Google Sky or wikisky.org, the approximate location of where Nibiru should have been right now is deliberately blocked by a black square, as in these pictures.

A pair of astronauts from the space shuttle Discovery changed out a 1,300 pound holding tank from the International Space Station (ISS) during a six and a half hour spacewalk that began Tuesday night and ended Wednesday morning. Astronauts Danny Olivas and Nicole Stott removed the bulky ammonia tank from the ISS and will replace it with a new module during a follow-up spacewalk later in the week. While Olivas and Stott worked out in space, station crewmembers were busy transferring 7.5 tons of cargo, including an exercise device named after comedian Stephen Colbert, from Discovery to the ISS. Smoke from California wildfires captured on Sunday by NASA’s Terra satellite. The Station Fire began last week in the Angeles National Forest just above the city, close to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA/GSFC/LaRC/JPL, MISR Team).

As my colleagues Randal Archibold and Sharon Otterman report, firefighters in California are still trying to get wildfires that started last week under control. On Monday, The Lede pointed to several views of the fires posted online. On Tuesday, the Web site Space Fellowship drew our attention to the photograph posted above, which is a view of the fires from space. This image was recorded on Sunday by a satellite camera managed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is located in Pasadena, not far from the Angeles National Forest where one of the fires started.
