Pyramid Review: Exploring Mexican sites

(Pyramid Review) Yaxchilan: The most inaccessible archeological site in Mexico, Jan. 29, 2026

Yaxchilan necropolis ruins (Wikipedia)
Yaxchilan
(yacht-chee-lan) is an ancient Maya city located on the bank of the Usumacinta River in the southern state of Chiapas, Mexico, near Guatemala (named after the Buddha Gautama plus the word mala or religious beads*). In the Late Classic Period, Yaxchilan was one of the most powerful Maya states along the course of the Usumacinta River, with Piedras Negras ("Black Rocks") as its major rival [1]. Architectural styles in subordinate sites in the Usumacinta region demonstrate clear differences that mark a clear boundary between the two kingdoms [1]. More: Yaxchilan, Mexico

Mexico's Sphinx, hieroglyphs, pyramids

What does Great Sphinx of Giza represent? Uncovering Secrets of the Sphinx
The ancient Egyptians preferred the androsphinx
The Sphinx before and after excavation (with touch ups and refinements), circa 1926

MEXICO CITY, Sept. 4. -- Mexican Boy Scouts exploring the wildest parts of the State of Guerrero discovered ruins which experts believe will lead to unearthing another buried city in this republic.

The members of the expedition, which was working under the patronage of the Minister of Education, found themselves a few days ago on one of the highest mountain ranges in Guerrero.

Nearby were numerous mounds, varying in size. Digging into one of the largest mounds, the Boy Scouts found an enormous stone head like that of the Egyptian sphinx.
They did not uncover the body, which is believed to be immense. Authorities say the stone head has extraordinary similarity to the archaeological treasures found at Gizen [Giza], Egypt.

The eyes of the image are deep cavities. Nearby was unearthed a huge round stone covered with hieroglyphics.

Nubia (modern Sudan) has more pyramids.
The many small mounds in the district under exploration are believed by government experts to be the summits of a series of pyramids.

The stone head which was uncovered is thought to have been that of some God [ruling deity], carved by the Indians [Indigenous people] in ancient times and surrounded by pyramids.

The Mexicans built giant pyramids on temples?

The head of the image is about 10 feet long and proportionately wide.

Alfonso Caso, a lawyer; Luis Fabela an architect, and Señor Escobar, a guide, will leave here in a few days to survey the district and begin excavation work on a limited scale.

Graham Hancock: Yoga in Mohenjo-daro

Graham Hancock: Yoga in Mohenjo-daro

Pashupati seal impression
(Journey With The Mystics) There is a famous Mohenjo-daro seal called the Pashupati or the "Lord of the Animals" as if it were the Vedic/Hindu deity.

It is likely much older than this division of the Hindu trinity. It shows an advanced yoga pose, a lotus position with heels touching and facing upwards.

Lord Shiva (Sivakempfort)
Sadly, no one has yet rigged artificial intelligence to crack the code and decipher the ancient Indus Valley Civilization language of this area and/or what was spoken in Harappa (since it seems to not have been an early/archaic form of Vedic Sanskrit as one might guess).

Grand Canyon Egyptian-Buddhist cave city

Smithsonian cover-up in the Grand Canyon? Ancient Egyptian city found
(The InBetween) The Grand Canyon's Egyptian Secret: A Smithsonian cover-up? In 1909, explorer G.E. Kincaid, while boating down the Colorado River, made a shocking discovery in the Grand Canyon: a vast cave system filled with Buddhist and Egyptian-style artifacts and hieroglyphs.

VIDEO: Buddhism in the Grand Canyon
But as news spread, the Smithsonian's dismissal raised suspicions. Why did they mount a large expedition led by Prof. S.A. Jordan to follow up? What really happened to Kincaid's original findings? Why is the alleged site nearly impossible to access today? What's behind the government's apparent secrecy? And could there be a connection to Hopi legends of an underground civilization?

Join us as we unravel one of America's most intriguing archeological mysteries and explore where these ancient people might be today.

Dead language decoded from broken stone

Katie Hunt, CNN, 10/12/22 (msn.com); Pat Macpherson, Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

How a long dead language was decoded from a broken slab of stone
Ancient Egypt exerts a powerful pull on the imagination of every generation, refusing to stay buried in the past.

Much of what we now take for granted about this world of mummies, pyramids, and splendid tombs had for centuries remained shrouded until French soldiers stumbled upon a broken slab of an inscribed stone in 1799.

The artifact depicted three different ancient scripts. Found while Napoleon’s army was digging the foundations of a fort in Rosetta, now El-Rashid, Egypt, the stone provided the key to decoding hieroglyphics — the ancient Egyptian writing system — and unleashed the secrets of one of the world’s oldest civilizations.

Back then, no one could read the neat pictures and symbols carved into stone and painted on papyrus scrolls discovered in temples along the river Nile — although medieval Arab scholars and Renaissance-era travelers had long found them a source of fascination.

Katie Hunt, Molly Hunter? Who reports?
The importance of the engraved slab was immediately recognized, even by the soldiers, Egyptologist Ilona Regulski said. She’s the curator of a new exhibition at The British Museum in London that explores the race to decode the Rosetta Stone and celebrates the 200-year anniversary of the breakthrough. More

Energy caught over Egyptian pyramids

Prof. Boulter caught a series of high definition images showing massive spinning energy formation and other anomalies during light show (pyramidcode.com).

Coast to Coast featured the Egypt and Pyramids on July 27, 2011. Dr. Carmen Boulter, former professor at the University of Calgary and author of Angels and Archetypes: An Evolutionary Map of Feminine Consciousness, discussed evidence of levitation, free energy, and alchemy being used to construct the pyramids in Egypt. She is a principal contributor to the extraordinary series "The Pyramid Code."

Her message from over 25 visits to Egypt and years of research is accompanied by a warning that the current structure of civilization is not conducive to the empowerment of humans.

Did Ancient Egyptians use Helicopters and Jets?

Pravda
There is a scientific theory that says that Egyptians descended from Martians who had once visited this planet

It was even before Christ that Greeks took a keen interest in the culture and history of people living on the banks of the Nile River. In 1848, one of numerous archaeological expeditions working in Egypt discovered strange hieroglyphs at the height of about ten meters [30 ft] right above the entrance to the Seti Temple in Abydos. The walls were covered with the strange signs that greatly puzzled researchers. The only thing the researchers realized at once was that they had discovered some images of strange mechanisms that nobody ever saw before.

It is still unknown what exactly an artist living about 3,000 years ago engraved on the walls. The archaeological expedition carefully copied the mysterious signs on the temple walls, and the hieroglyphs gave rise to endless disputes and heated debates among Egyptologists.

As a result, a majority of Egyptologists arrived at a conclusion that there were just four strange objects drawn in different variations. Unfortunately, researchers of the 19th century failed to understand what ancient Egyptians actually drew on the temple walls. Like any sensation the mysterious Abydos hieroglyphs were absolutely forgotten some time later.

In about 150 years, the respectable Arab newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat published several sensational photos taken in the Amon Ra Temple in Karnak. At that, the newspaper asked its readers whether they believed that ancient Egyptians knew about battle aviation. The question would have seriously puzzled readers under some different conditions. But the photos the newspaper published demonstrated the bas-reliefs of an ancient temple built under Seti I, who ruled 3,000 years ago.
And on the bas-reliefs an ancient artist engraved a battle helicopter with a distinct rotor and a tail unit. Nearby, the artist depicted several other aircrafts astonishingly resembling contemporary supersonic fighters and heavy strategic bombers!

After the sensational publication of the photos it became clear why Egyptologists of the 19th century could not tell what was depicted on the walls of the temple in Abydos. Indeed, the researchers did not know how helicopters and aircrafts look. More>>
