Dibba cakkhu (one of Buddhism's "higher knowledges" or abhijñā) is the "divine eye," namely, directly knowing others' karmic destinations, their comings and goings according to former deeds; by remembering one's own past lives, one sees how it was all happening in accordance with karma (our own deeds). The latter comes from the previous higher knowledge, to "remember one's former abodes" (pubbe-nivāsanussati), causal memory, that is to say, recalling one's own past lives in their tens, thousands, ten-thousands, hundred-thousands, and more.
The attainment of these six higher powers or knowledges is mentioned in a number of sutras (Buddhist discourses), most famously the "Fruits of Monastic Life Discourse" (Samaññaphala Sutta, DN 2) [8].
The attainment of the first four (of eight) meditative absorptions (jhanas) is considered to be a prerequisite for the attainment of the higher powers [5].
The sixth type is the ultimate goal of Buddhism, which is the end of all suffering and the destruction of all ignorance [9].
According to the Buddha, indulgence in these supranormal powers or abhiññās should be avoided, as they can easily distract one from the ultimate goal of enlightenment [4] and liberation.
Sire, those who have penetrated to a direct understanding of the Four Noble [Ennobling, Enlightening] Truths, seen the truths, understood the Teaching, who have crossed over from perplexity to the Four Fruits of Recluseship and, having obtained the bliss of these fruits, share these fruits with others who are practicing rightly — practitioners such as these, sire, are called fruit-vendors in the Blessed One's City of Dhamma. Similarly, the Three Knowledges or Wisdoms (tevijja or tivijja) are:
"Remembering one's former abodes or rebirths" (pubbe-nivāsanussati);
The "divine eye" (dibba-cakkhu), the ability to see with inner vision not dependent on the external eyes; and,
The "extinction of mental defilements and intoxicants" (āsavakkhaya) [10].
The Three Knowledges are mentioned in numerous sutras, including the Maha-Saccaka Sutta (MN 36) in which the Buddha describes how he obtained each of these Three Knowledges respectively on the first, second, and third watches of the night of his great awakening (bodhi, enlightenment).
These forms of special knowledge are typically listed as arising after the attainment of the fourth meditative absorption (jhana) [11], which is the first of four immaterial absorptions. More

Dark, handsome, celibate Nikola Tesla
It is fascinating that there are extraterrestrial beings who care enough to look over at Earth from above and send psychic messages to those sensitive enough to pick up on them. Foremost of these was the great inventor Nikolai Tesla, who thanks to his mother had the latent ability to pick up such messages.
Through that family DNA lineage, he was sensitive to it. Beings from Venus or those living on a nearby planet, concerned that all of Earth's problems might be due to not knowing about free-energy (which we do know about but is not made public because of the disastrous effects it would have on our corporate economic system that sells polluting fuels and electric technology and keeps all the perpetual motion and free energy machines seeking patents in a locked vault so that claims can be made but no officially authorized proof).

They reasoned that if they could make contact with one or more earthlings and showed how easy it was, all the problems here would end: war, famine, inequality... Tesla's main dream was establishing a Wi-Fi worldwide network of free electricity. Electrons are now sent around from main generation plants with a great deal of resistance. Whether AC or DC, there is degradation in the signal and loss of energy dissipating as heat or other forms before reaching city centers and "consumers." Tesla envisioned towers electrifying the ether or air (akasha) so that everyone could tap in. That was of no interest to capitalist backers suggesting they would provide the funding. The CIA undermined Tesla then took his revelations to find military applications to his discoveries. Where does that leave us? Right where we are, poor, full of war, and unequal.
What evidence is there that the Nazis ever got one of their schemes to fly?
Sumerians arrived here and then went back.
But at around the same time, there was a better but less well-known case of the same thing happening. Austrian Oracle Maria Orsic and her Vril Society or Gesellschaft of beautiful women (possibly an unearthly beauty) used their psychic powers to make contact with Aldebaran, a distant star system. ET beings there, communicating in an ancient defunct language, sent Orsic information (full blueprints) on how to build a UFO (vimana, "spaceship").
The society did not understand what the information was, but they made contact with Nazis in Germany, approaching a Gestapo member or similar high ups. The German officials, almost certainly not taking these supermodels seriously nevertheless wanted to talk to them, humor them, and keep them around.
So a Nazi officer at the restaurant/club took the blueprints and showed them to a professor (a linguist) at another table, who not only recognized them but felt he was the only one who could appreciate what he was being shown because he was an expert in the language they were in, at least a related language. What they were written in, which if memory serves was Middle Sumerian, was not available.
So the professor was desperate to know what museum or archeological site the Nazis had plundered to find such a treasure. The officer explained that that beautiful girl over there had written it. This, of course, was impossible. Even an academic (and this academic regarded himself as foremost in this field of study) could not have forged these, so rare was an understanding of this language, much less an untrained layperson. He was introduced, and Maria Orsic explained that she indeed had produced them but not by knowing what they were.
Rather, she had done so by channeling, explaining that her extraordinarily long hair for the time when a kind of bob was all the rage, had served as an antenna. Members of the Vril Society all had very, very long hair (though one photo shows one beauty caving in and adopting a fashionable bob). The Nazi officer cut to the chase and asked, given that it was a blueprint, was there enough information on it to build what it was. The academic said yes, and this launched the Nazis advantage and ability to win WW II.
Psychic goes cosmic with ETs
Of course, we are all taught that Hitler and the Nazis lost, but they won. They avoided prosecution, were allowed free passage out to Neuschwabenland (New Swabia, Antarctica) and Argentina, with a lot of migration to the Americas, not only the U.S. but a big pocket to Jalisco, Mexico. So many German descendants were already in the U.S. that it is said that it was not a given that this would be an English-speaking new country following the genocide of the Native population.
Did Hitler have secret help?
We might have been German-speaking. Whatever Germany is said to have given up or endured post-WWII, they are now and have for a long time been a financial powerhouse in Europe and the world. The arrangement for the transfer of power and agreements with ETs to the U.S. (NASA, CIA, and other post-Nazi or Neo-Nazi organizations in the U.S.) military-industrial complex was a successful transition.
Many Nazi scientists guilty of war crimes were brought over, protected from prosecution, and set up to help. In fact, the justification for this is that many countries were vying for their expertise. Where did missile technology and military superiority come from to aid the Germans?
A more important development than Nazi German UFOs was a UAP called Die Glocke ("The Bell"), which is stable time travel technology. The CIA could not let that fall into other hands. The term UAP is not only a psyop name change. It can actually refer to something fundamentally different than a flying object. USOs are submersibles. This newest invention travels on water, and we already have a similar air-vehicle that travels over level desert land on big fans. There is/was also the mysterious Thule Society, which seems to be the occult male arm of Vril.
Do Austrians remember Maria O?
It was the misuse of ET information, not by Tesla or Orsic but the funders, backers, and officials who were the only ones who could afford to build on an industrial scale. Even if Nazi officials promised the Vril Society that all uses of their channeled information would be peaceful and for the purpose of building a vimana to take them to that distant planet in Aldebaran, the technology was abused. The Vril Society took the journey and were seen no more. Edison was boosted, but Tesla (whose intuited information was so much more valuable) was largely forgotten until recently, even though he now channels from beyond and no one is paying overt attention to his newest revelations.

The Discovery Channel or similar older network once showed a man who built his own flying disk based on antigravity technology, which is easy to produce by counter-rotating magnets to produce lift. The prototype, a smaller scale proof of principle model, flew away. He was now working on a larger version if he could figure out how to steer it.
Another man built a super-vehicle based on the natural technology under scarab wings that allows the bumblebee-like bugs to fly and float with wings that seem to small for their bodies. A man recently "flew" a magic carpet for all to see by leaping off a cliff with a parachute. He glided down for a great distance, which shows up the fact that we do not know how ordinary flight works, yet it does. If it were "lift" on the wings, then how does a twin-engine Cessna flip over midflight to fly upside down at air shows?

This Day in History: Druid Remembrance Day

On March 17th, we will not be celebrating someone greatly responsible for the cultural genocide of the Celtic pagans and Druids.
Instead, it's more appropriate to celebrate the life and culture of the Druids who were wiped out during Saint Patrick's missionary days.
Make sure to note that this was a "cultural genocide." So it doesn't mean Padraig went around killing all the Druids. Instead, he convinced the kings and leaders of the time to convert to a foreign religion, which meant no one needed Druids anymore.
WHO WERE THE DRUIDS?

Ever since the Indo-European days, Druids were the keepers of the traditional laws, storytellers, wandering poets, priests, the philosophers of the time, astronomers, and king makers.
The name Druid means something like the Sanskrit rishi, "to see" (a "seer," "visionary"). They were the intermediaries connecting the people and the gods.
The word shaman (Buddhist Sanskrit shramana) is related to seer, meaning "one who sees in the dark."
They were the most important people of their time, roughly between 4500 BCE (before common era) to 400 CE.
Secret architecture of the Druids
The Celts, along with their Druids or seers, emigrated from Central Europe west to the British Isles and Ireland, taking their rich culture, art, and traditions with them. The ancient tales of their ancestors and their gods helped the Celts remain a fearless people.
Fearless people are hard to control.

"Snakes" seems to have been a metaphor for pagans, because he wanted everyone to view them as evil for their refusal to following the new faith.
The conversions made the old Celtic faith irrelevant. The Romans eventually got rid of the Druids along with the culture of the people. Over time Druids ceased to exist.
Written records were uncommon back then. The Druids were not allowed to write down their knowledge.
So all of that cultural history was lost. It had been recorded in the minds of the Druids, so once they were eradicated, their history was too.

The Buddha was the wisest of all wise people.
Does the future "create" the past or the meaning of the past? Of course it does! It's clear, no matter how counter-intuitive it is or how much we are told by standard gatekeeper university science that that's preposterous.
But think of all the ways in which this is true. This is even more true than one would have thought by lived experience. Mitch Horowitz quoted the cutting-edge experiments of one scientist who concluded that one could study or practice in the future to benefit in the present (which in the future will be the past). The future will change the past? Poppycock!
The wisdom of the Buddha's Dhammapada
He was crucified for such counterintuitive and backwards thinking. Horowitz waited, and a decade later that first work had been confirmed, statistically demonstrated, and backed by a meta study (which aggregates and analyzes the statistics of many studies to avoid bias in any single study). Now it's confirmed science.
But it was true -- and we could see that retro-causality was true -- in a much simpler way. What does anything mean except how we look back on it? The present is very brief, the future never arrives, but the past is massive, long-lasting, and always growing. We run out of a future, but we always have the past. In any case, these are arbitrary imposed categories for the reality of the "eternal now," just the way we divide and label it.
The wise old farmer

Think of the famous Chinese story of the wise old farmer. One day his son is thrown from his horse, breaks his leg, and is unable to do any fieldwork. His neighbors come around the house snickering, saying how sorry they are and asking the old farmer if he doesn't think it's a great pity.
Who can say, who can say? the old man answers almost optimistically.
The next day the military sweeps through the town and forcibly inducts all able-bodied young men. The old farmer's neighboring come to him crying, "Oh, our sons! Our sons! You're so lucky yours has that broken leg and wasn't taken away, aren't you?"

"Who can say, who can say?" the old farmer says somewhat pessimistically.
The next day the old farmer's barn catches on fire, and without the help of his son, who's leg is still broken and keeping him in bed, he is unable to extinguish the fire.
The neighbors return, snickering and saying what a pity it is his son couldn't help, asking the old farmer if he sees now how terrible it is that his son's leg is broken.
Lao Tzu, like Socrates, had something to say.
"Who can say, who can say?" the old farmer says somewhat optimistically.
The next day...and on and on. He well knows the meaning of what happened in the past (his son's broken leg) has no fixed meaning. It is given that meaning by what happens in the future. The future dictates the MEANING of the past, as much or more than it works the other way around.
What do we actually see in the present as we move into the future? Only the past
This is what we are taught is happening with time. We steer facing the future and "look ahead." This is NOT what's happening. It's a bad analogy we've accepted without thinking for ourselves. Time IS moving that way. But we are looking backwards, only able to see the past.
As the arrow (or boat) of time carries us forward into the future, which way are we facing?

This is happening: We row only looking back.
Time is not really going in an arrow from left to right as we are taught by our culture. Another better culture was discovered by anthropologists that is so backward, it thinks it's the other way around.
How does time work in our imagination? It is like a boat, and we are sitting at the helm looking forward.
"May the bridges I burn light the way."
The future is ahead of us, the past behind us, and we are moving in the present. This is all wrong. And that other culture knows it, takes it for granted, and their language and their whole view of the world (paradigm) reflects it. Think about it.
In their imagination, the future is ahead, we are in the present looking backward at the past. As the boat moves forward into the future, the captain at the helm doesn't see the future at all. All that person sees is the past coming into sharp relief, where s/he has been.
Native Wisdom is ancient genius
The past is ever expanding and broadening (coming into view); the future is a mystery that cannot be seen at all until it comes into view IN THE PAST, behind the boat, in the wake we are staring at for guidance (e.g., doing what we have done before to get a desired outcome).
The person at the helm is steering the boat, but it's very difficult to know where to steer it (and get it to go where one would want it to go) without being able to see what's ahead, working ONLY with what's behind.
Abraham-Hicks brought us Law of Attraction
The present isn't much help, except for the fact that we only have the present to influence the boat and see what's immediately happening. We base the influence we exert on our direction on what we see coming into the most recent past (i.e., the present). It's strange but completely obvious once we are undeceived as to what's really been happening all along. That culture has it right, we have it wrong.
I found it's called "nirvana"
Add to this the fact that we have natural precognition (innate psychic ability) -- but it's not always right or reliable -- and we can see how human life (having lost most of our deva powers as we've devolved through the ages (rather than evolved and gotten better).
Our deva/divine powers deteriorate. Average lifespan shortens over the long term (even as it grows and shrinks in the short term) in the Kali Yuga (Dark and Declining Age) and later grows longer in the coming "Golden Age" or Sattva Yuga, cycles within cycles (as explained by the Buddha in the Agganna Sutta or "The Knowledge of Beginnings Discourse/A Buddhist Genesis").
A great quote
Why is this quote by C.S. Lewis true? Because it is always the beginning of the rest of our lives, and we are always in a position to start and therefore in a position to change the (ending) future. It's a matter of perspective. And with the direction of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Awakened Sangha (the Guide, the Guidance, and the Successfully Guided), it can be done!
There is a great quote, one of the world's best, that runs something like: "We cannot change the past, but in the future there's still a chance of it all working out."
It isn't the past that needs changing. The FUTURE will give the PAST its meaning retro-causally. Here's the actual quote by C. S. Lewis: "You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending."
In concrete terms: Buy a stock or precious metal. Will having bought it in the PAST for that price cause a profit or a loss? Only the FUTURE can determine that.
It means the future will impact the past; tomorrow will determine the meaning of yesterday. (WHEN will we know it? Only ever in the present). [But I knew it in the past. Yes, but at that time, the "past" was the present, and THIS was still the future. Oh, yes, of course. Wait, what? There's only now.]
