Speed limit of light? Light doesn't move

Why light speed is the LIMIT? What Feynman uncovered will COLLAPSE your mind

(Imagine the Physics) Jan. 8, 2026: Ever wonder why nothing can break what Eistein called the "cosmic speed limit"? πŸš€ Most people think it's just "Einstein's rule" — but the real answer is WAY weirder.

The speed of light isn't some arbitrary speed limit slapped onto the universe. It's literally built into the structure of space and time itself.

This journey starts with Newton staring at our Moon and realizing something wild: It's FALLING (sideways making an ellipsis) right now. It is constantly falling toward Earth (but missing because it's moving sideways). That single insight kicked off a 400-year avalanche of discoveries about how the universe really works. ⚡ Then came a total accident: Astronomers noticed Jupiter's moons were running 8 minutes late sometimes. Instead of blaming their math, one guy (RΓΈmer) had a crazy idea: What if light takes TIME to travel? Boom! "Speed of light" discovered by accident, while studying gravity.

🧠 Fast forward to Einstein, who breaks everyone's brain by proving that the faster we move, the slower TIME flows for us. Not as a feeling — it does so literally. Our clock ticks more slowly. Distances shrink. The universe reshapes itself around us to keep light moving at exactly the same speed no matter what. This has been TESTED.

✅ Particle accelerators prove it. GPS satellites depend on it. (They'd fail without Einstein's corrections). Cosmic rays streaming through our atmosphere show it. The universe doesn't care about our common sense; it plays by different rules.

πŸ’‘ Feynman's genius was showing how these discoveries connect, how confidence in one law helps us discover the next. How asking the question, "Why are Jupiter's moons wrong?" led to finding light speed, how each breakthrough creates an avalanche of new ones.

Ready for a brain rewiring? Let's go. ⚡ πŸ’¬ QUESTION: What breaks the brain more, that Jupiter's moons revealed light speed or that time literally slows down when we move? Ever thought about why GPS actually works? Let us know what hit differently!

Scientists just made TIME run backward

Social psychologists know time is mutable.
(Julia McCoy) Jan. 19, 2026: Scientists (physicists) just made time run BACKWARD (and this changes everything about reality). Their experiments are presumably objective because they are repeatable and scalable, as published in Nature Physics.
COMMENTARY
Editors, Wisdom Quarterly
Big deal! - What do you mean? This is the most tremendous scientific advancement of our lives! - I could do the same thing. - You're crazy! You couldn't even get your hands on the meta materials to try! - Sure I could, just borrow them from my brother. - You're brother's a scientist? - No, just a music fan with lots of vinyl. Is that meta enough for ya? - How's that going to help you? - Pink Floyd just hit a world record with more than like 1,000 nonconsecutive weeks on the Billboard charts for Dark Side of the Moon. - So what?

Does it play Pink Floyd? - No, Gilligan, why?
D'uh, that album has "Time" on it. I could make it run backward; in fact, I have made it run backward lots of times, looking for backward masking to explain its enduring popularity. - That's not the same thing! - It may not be, but I did it, and it was no big deal. - Well this is a BIG deal because it goes to prove, time is not real. At least, it's not what we think it is. All time is NOW. We can play it front or back or revisit it or change it through retrocausation, but it is definitely NOT what it seems to be. - Oh, that is a big deal. - D'uh, I told you!

"Temporal anti-parity–time symmetry in diffusive transport"
OK, now just as an experiment, everyone pedal backwards to before we were shipwrecked.

ABSTRACT
Nature Physics
: Parity–time symmetry has revolutionized wave and energy transport control in non-Hermitian systems, yet has so far been mostly explored in static phases, where a system’s behaviour is locked into a fixed-symmetric or broken-symmetry phase. The vast potential of time-domain dynamics has remained largely untapped. Here we introduce the concept of temporal anti-parity–time symmetry, a principle that allows the transport dynamics of a system to be actively shaped in real time. Rather than designing static phases, we influence the timing of non-Hermitian phase transitions, making the system’s temporal evolution itself a programmable degree of freedom. Through the dynamic control of material properties and convective flow, we dictate the exact moments these transitions occur, thereby controlling the entire transport history of the system. This temporal control achieves highly tunable field localization and realizes counterintuitive thermal transport, enabling temperature profiles to move forwards with convection, backwards against it or remain trapped at arbitrary locations. Our findings extend non-Hermitian physics into the time domain and establish a framework for on-demand wave and energy transport. Source

World under Egypt’s pyramid finally found

20K-y-o labyrinth, 3K chambers hidden under Egypt’s pyramid found (The Daily Galaxy, UK)

20K-year-old labyrinth with 3K chambers hidden under Egypt’s pyramid finally found, as centuries-old claim resurfaces
A groundbreaking discovery has emerged from the sands of Egypt, where a labyrinth — hidden beneath a pyramid — could dramatically alter our understanding of ancient civilizations.

This labyrinth, boasting 3,000 rooms and multiple passageways, was once described by ancient historians like Herodotus. For centuries, the hidden labyrinth beneath the Hawara pyramid has sparked interest.

Herodotus, who visited Egypt in the 5th century BCE, wrote about a structure with 3,000 chambers, both above and below ground. He described the labyrinth as surpassing the pyramids in scale and complexity, though he was only able to view the upper chambers, as access to the underground levels was denied.

His accounting of this tale, rich in detail, suggests that the labyrinth was a remarkable feat of engineering, with passages that captivated all who saw it.

Atrahasis: Ark was round basket boat during flood:
Sumerian Noah (Assyrian carvings, cuneiform tablet)

Despite Herodotus’s descriptions, no direct evidence of the underground complex has been found — until recent advancements in technology.

Groundbreaking tools like satellite scans and ground-penetrating radar are now being used to investigate the site and reveal what may lie beneath the surface.

Modern discovery resurfaces the mystery
In 2023, a research paper titled “The Labyrinth, the Colossi, and the Lake” presented evidence supporting the existence of underground rooms at Hawara.

These findings align with Herodotus’s descriptions, suggesting that the labyrinth may have been a much older structure than previously thought.
Researchers used radar and satellite imaging to detect underground anomalies, potentially revealing parts of the long-hidden labyrinth.

While the discovery is promising, there remains debate within the academic community regarding its validity. Some experts express caution, while others argue that modern technology could provide the long-awaited evidence of the labyrinth’s existence.

Herodotus’s account and archeological efforts
Herodotus’s firsthand account has long been a key source of information about the labyrinth. In his writings, he described the structure as having chambers both above and below the surface. The underground sections, he claimed, were even more awe-inspiring, but access was restricted.

He further noted that the labyrinth was “greater than the pyramids” in grandeur. Modern archeology has struggled to verify this description.

In the 19th century, Sir Flinders Petrie uncovered what he believed to be the foundation of the labyrinth, but his findings were inconclusive due to limited resources and technology. Despite Petrie’s observations, definitive evidence of the labyrinth remained elusive.

The most recent use of space-based radar and electromagnetic surveys is helping uncover the truth.

These advanced technologies, unavailable during past archeological efforts, have made it possible to detect subsurface features beneath the pyramid at Hawara. The latest findings point to the existence of extensive underground structures that could align with Herodotus’s description of the labyrinth.

A 2008 expedition using electromagnetic surveys uncovered subterranean features that resembled ancient walls, indicating the possible presence of a mortuary complex or a hidden section of the labyrinth.

Recent 3D reconstructions of the area suggest two levels of underground chambers around the pyramid of Amenemhet III, further supporting the theory that the labyrinth is real.

Is light a cluster of particles (photons)?

Why I stopped believing that light is a particle (until now)
(Looking Glass Universe) This video is about Richard Feynman's Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), which says that light is made of photons [particles] that go on all possible paths at once.

Einstein: O, Great Buddha, what is the answer?
The experiment in the video is from the following video from Veritasium. Even though I don't agree fully agree with their interpretation of the experiment, I think it's an excellent explanation of QED. I highly recommend it!

Light in Buddhist meditation and physics
What is directly-perceived light? It may be kalapas, the smallest units of materiality (rupa, form)
.
It is possible to directly perceive light
In Buddhism, āloka-saññā means the "perception of light." A recurring Pali language canon passage reads:

"Here the meditator contemplates the perception of light, fixes mind on the perception of the day, as at daytime so by night, and as at nighttime so by day. In this way, with a mind clear and unclouded, one develops a stage of mind that is full of brightness."

That is, mind becomes full of the perception of light.

This perception is one of the methods for overcoming drowsiness in meditation recommended by the Buddha to the chief male disciple "foremost in psychic powers," Mahā Moggallāna (A.VII. 58). [He may have said the same to the chief female disciple declared "foremost in psychic powers," Uppalavanna Theri.]

Attain absorptions, see kalapa, review in slo-mo
According to DN 33, this method is conducive to the development of "knowledge and vision." (See "purification," visuddhi). And it is said to be helpful for the attainment of the psychic "divine eye." (See abhiññā). Light can also be the direct subject of meditation as a kasina (a disk or special meditation object).

Buddhism has its own physics? Oh, yes. It is called the "Doctrine in Ultimate Terms" or Abhidhamma pitaka. Why? In Buddhism, there is conventional reality as distinct from ultimate reality. In one world or perspective, there are things and persons. In another, there are only ultimate mind and matter, nama and rupa ("name and form") or the ultimate constituents of things, namely cittas ("mind-moments") and kalapas ("particles").

Something strange happens when we trust quantum mechanics

Science no longer believes in death

Nurse dies and sees how we go on living
(The Other Side NDE) ⭐ Nurse Penny Wittbrodt encountered death, or what we think of as "death" judging from this side. From the other side, the afterlife, it looks very different. The mystics were right. Seers through the ages have really been seeing something we will all eventually see when it is too late to make use of the knowledge. If only we had come to believe and understand while living, the next phase (lives after lives without end) could have been comforting rather than our worst nightmare of annihilation and obliteration, which many scientific types look forward to because it would mean nothing was ever going to come of ill-done and well-done deeds in this and countless previous lives. When Wittbrodt had a near-death experience (NDE), it taught her about life. That was the most amazing thing. We do not die in any final sense. We may lose loved one, this body, this situation, and all that we hold dear, but there is continuation, reappearance elsewhere (blissful or dreadful or not completely unlike here). She saw her death from her own and then a disembodied perspective, which gave purpose to all the moments she had had here on Earth, the good, the bad, the ugly, and precious few lofty moments. The story of crossing over is mind-bending, glimpsing our potential to reappear in a heaven (one of many) or in any of 31 Planes of Existence in countless worlds. Stories come in from around the globe 🌍 ➡️ tinyurl.com/helptheothersidende πŸ™ See more of Penny Wittbrodt and her NDE here ▶️ witthealthcoaching.com. #nde #neardeathexperiences

The "soul" (self) is not immortal. It dies from moment to moment in life whether we notice or not. The process continues after "death." So we are neither immortal nor do we end by death.
.
Science finally uncovers what really happens
What happens after we die? While many scientists believe that death is the end, quantum physics suggests that it might not be as simple as we think.

In fact, it could be an illusion.
This new scientific idea challenges everything we know about life and "death." By looking at concepts like the interconnectedness of all things and the nature of consciousness, here’s to a whole new perspective on life after death.

Biocentrism challenges our understanding of death and life
I tried to do my part for predictive programming, showing that there was no Death (T-Swift)
.
Everything doesn't go black?
Dr. Robert Lanza, a leading expert in biotechnology, plays a major role in this idea.

He’s the chief scientific officer at the Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where he studies stem cells and how they can be used to treat diseases.

Before this, Dr. Lanza focused on researching embryonic stem cells and cloning, working with both animals and humans. [Illegal human cloning?] He is also an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina.

I'll reappear in another place in another body?
According to biocentrism, death might not be what we think it is. Instead of seeing death as the end of life, this theory suggests it could be an illusion, something created by the way we perceive the world.

Beyond Biocentrism: Rethinking Time, Space, Conscious
-ness, and the Illusion of Death
(Dr. Robert Lanza)

The idea is that time and space, as we understand them, are not fixed. Our awareness of these concepts might shape what we experience as life and death.
Can we change the subject? This is upsetting.
The theory doesn’t deny that our physical bodies die, but it suggests that our experience of death might not be the final event we think it is.

By studying stem cells and regenerative medicine, Dr. Lanza is working to explore how life can be extended or even renewed [as happens anyway according to the science-friendly Eastern traditions, in a recycling modality known as samsara].

Why lately has science been promoting suicide euthanasia, abortion, infertility, LGBTQIA+?

His research into cloning and stem cells shows that the boundaries of life might not be as clear-cut as we once believed.

If we can manipulate biological processes, it suggests that life—at least the biological part of it—could be much more flexible than we realize. More:

Killing cats for Schrodinger (Zen, physics)

SchrΓΆdinger's cat: A thought experiment in quantum mechanics

(TED-Ed) Oct. 14, 2014: View full lesson: ed.ted.com/lessons/schrodinger... Austrian physicist Erwin SchrΓΆdinger, one of the founders of quantum mechanics, posed this famous question: "If you put a cat in a sealed box with a [radioactive] device that has a 50% chance of killing the cat in the next hour, what will be the state of the cat when that time is up? Chad Orzel investigates this thought experiment. Lesson by Chad Orzel. Animation by Agota Vegso.

I misunderstood SchrΓΆdinger's cat thought experiment for years (Now, I finally get it!)
When will cat lovers strike back?
(FloatHeadPhysics) Why is SchrΓΆdinger's cat both dead and alive? It's not! This video looks at what quantum superposition is (and is not). How many mental cats must be mutilated and die in these gruesome thought experiments, which lead to real-life desensitization, vivisection (painful experiments and mutilation of living animals, just as dissection is the cutting up of dead ones), and the "sacrificing" (a euphemism for execution of living subjects after an experiment is concluded and every participant must be murdered to clean up). Though scientists go home and pet their spouse's kitties, at work, dressed in white (lab coats) like a priestly class, they callously commit excruciating atrocities in the name of research and their religion, Science (Scientism).

This is not limited to science. There is a shocking Japanese Buddhist koan (riddle, paradox, lit. "case") about a cat.

Nansen Kills the Cat: a vintage koan
Roshi Philip Kapleau (Zen Bow | Winter 2018, Vol. XL, No. 4, a vintage koan commentary by the Rochester Zen Center’s late founder) edited by Wisdom Quarterly

(Shōkei Andreas Praefcke/Wiki)
Mumonkan
Number 14: THE CASE: Once the monks of the Western and Eastern Halls were arguing about a cat. Nansen, holding up the cat, said, “You monks, if you can say a word of Zen, I will spare the cat. Otherwise, I will kill it!”

No one could answer, so Nansen sliced the cat in two.

That evening, when Joshu returned, Nansen told him of the incident. Joshu thereupon took off his sandal, put it on his head, and walked off.

Nansen said, “If you had been there, the cat would have been saved!”

Only riddles and koans. No answers anywhere!
THE COMMENTARY: Just say, what is the real meaning of Joshu’s putting his sandal on his head? If you can give a turning word on this point, you will see that Nansen’s action was not in vain. But if not, beware!

THE VERSE: Had Joshu only been there, he would have taken charge. He would have snatched away the sword, and Nansen would have begged for his life. The two protagonists of this koan, Nansen and Joshu, are two of the great masters in Zen.

Nansen was the teacher of Joshu (Chinese Zhaozhou). Nansen (Chinese Nanchuan) in turn was a disciple of the great Baso (Chinese Mazu).

Nansen’s dates are 748 to 835. He had his head shaved at the age of 9, and at 30 took full ordination vows and devoted himself to Buddhist study for several years.

Finally, he knocked on the door of Zen Master Baso and “forgot all that he had previously learned.” At 47, in the year 795, Nansen built with his own hands a retreat hut on Mount Nansen, from which he took his name.

One of his disciples was the governor of the province, and there’s an intriguing mondo between the two. After the governor had had dokusan with Nansen, Nansen said to him, “When you return to your office in the city, how will you rule the people?”

The answer was, “I will use wisdom to govern them.”

Nansen said, “In that case, every last one of them will suffer.”

What we see here is a sense of self-intentionality which, on the face of it, seems to be a very fine thing: to endeavor to govern with wisdom, compassion. But once you talk about it, it’s already gone. You’re already assured that there won’t be any wisdom or compassion.

You don’t need to set about to govern with wisdom or compassion if you just govern fully, put yourself wholly into any activity: nothing held back, without any notions of being wise or being this or being that. The action will be a true action.

We all have this compassion and innate wisdom, this prajna wisdom, that will emerge once we remove the obstacles to its functioning. More: Rochester Zen Center (rzc.org)
