My psychotic breakdown: Cage the Elephant
| Cage the Elephant, Neon Pill album (2024) |
He experienced a severe adverse reaction to prescribed ADHD medication, which led to paranoid delusions and a break from reality. His condition culminated in a high-profile arrest in January 2023 in NY, where he was found with two loaded firearms.

Shultz later avoided jail time through a plea deal and underwent extensive treatment, which he has credited with saving his life [12]. This turbulent period deeply influenced Cage the Elephant's sixth studio album, Neon Pill.

The album features lyrics reflecting Shultz's psychological descent and recovery, blending confessional songwriting with the band's evolving, genre-fluid sound. Songs like "Neon Pill" and "Rainbow" trace his personal trauma, including a temporary divorce from his wife Kentucky-based actress, dancer, and musician Eva Ross [13].We're not into psychedelics...or are we?
In interviews, Shultz has spoken candidly about the dangers of blurring performance personas with personal identity and has since adopted a more grounded public presence.

The band's return to touring in 2024 was met with critical acclaim, and Shultz has described the experience as a profound reset, offering new perspective on fame and artistic identity [12].
On Oct. 10, 2024, CBS Mornings aired a segment featuring Shultz and his brother Brad. In it Matt opened up about his psychosis [14]. More

Making the Cut: How to Heal Modern Medicine
![]() |
| Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, M.D. |
Author Dr. Aaron Kheriaty has 4.6 out of 5 stars (with 28 reviews). There is a cure for medicine’s ills, but it’s going to hurt. Effective treatment, as every doctor knows, begins with accurate diagnosis.
Making the Cut is about what’s going on in the house of medicine. Medicine got sick.
- One in three people now distrust the healthcare system.
- Following the pandemic, two-thirds of Americans doubt medical scientists will act in the best interest of the public.
- We are grappling with an epidemic of chronic illness—heart disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, stroke, and chronic lung and kidney disease—affecting six in ten Americans, which medicine seems powerless to fix.
- the number of doctors is dropping dramatically.
- Physicians are quitting in droves.
- One in five doctors will leave medicine in the next two years.
- One in three will reduce their hours.
A doctor, we assume, wounds in order to heal. “You’re going to feel a sharp pain!” she says, before making the cut. Today, though, all too often the doctor wounds without healing. Why?
In Making the Cut, Dr. Kheriaty, one of the country's leading public intellectuals and preeminent bioethicists, reveals what medicine gave him—and what it sometimes took from him.
This book is about how he grew from an overconfident pre-med to an ambivalent medical student to a capable physician who had fallen in love with medicine—even if his lover has turned into a prostitute of late.
While presenting a damning diagnosis of contemporary medicine, Making the Cut also applies the wounding scalpel in order to heal it. More

Deadly fake weed Delta-8
Since 2019, highly potent nitazenes have proliferated as ″new synthetic opioids″ in the North American and European narcotics markets and as such have become a formative component of the opioid epidemic in the United States. Overdoses of nitazene opioids have led to several hundred documented fatalities [1].

The 41-year-old mom was released following a six-day stint at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, the West Australian reported.
She was escorted from the hospital out of view of a waiting media pack [of paparazzi jackals or, this being Australia, dingoes]. Details on her current condition were not immediately made available.
It comes after Giuffre [formerly Virginia Roberts] — who famously claimed to have been induced to have sex with Britain’s creepy, stuttering Prince Andrew — posted a photo of herself bruised and battered in a hospital bed, alleging she had been given just “four days to live” after her March 24th wreck. "Vigilante" Luigi Mangione?
The Failure, Fear, and Frenzy around Luigi
Hi Friends,
This week I wanted to share my thoughts on everything that is going on with Luigi Mangione and UnitedHealthcare assassination. Most people already know the story, but what I think few understand is the wider context of people’s anger at health insurance companies and the lifting up of someone they see as a vigilante.
Under Obamacare more people are insured than ever before. It getting passed meant companies could not deny one based on preexisting conditions or family history. Even with the coverage the actual likelihood of one paying into one's health insurance and actually being insured when we need it is unreasonably low.
Doctors, labs, and hospitals are out of network depending on who you have and whether we have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Elevance, CVS Health, Kaiser Foundation, Humana, Centene Group, Cigna, or other health care services corporations are not immune to the possibility of having to pay more out of pocket than one can afford and being saddled with bills one has to fight with the insurance provider over.
All of us have to figure out a way forward. Some believe that it will be through legislation that curbed insurance companies' ability to deny and delay claims until the problem, or the person, goes away.
Luigi Mangione has been hailed or condemned on Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook by what feels like everyone in the United States.

Science no longer believes in death
Nurse dies and sees how we go on living
(The Other Side NDE) ⭐ Nurse Penny Wittbrodt encountered death, or what we think of as "death" judging from this side. From the other side, the afterlife, it looks very different. The mystics were right. Seers through the ages have really been seeing something we will all eventually see when it is too late to make use of the knowledge. If only we had come to believe and understand while living, the next phase (lives after lives without end) could have been comforting rather than our worst nightmare of annihilation and obliteration, which many scientific types look forward to because it would mean nothing was ever going to come of ill-done and well-done deeds in this and countless previous lives. When Wittbrodt had a near-death experience (NDE), it taught her about life. That was the most amazing thing. We do not die in any final sense. We may lose loved one, this body, this situation, and all that we hold dear, but there is continuation, reappearance elsewhere (blissful or dreadful or not completely unlike here). She saw her death from her own and then a disembodied perspective, which gave purpose to all the moments she had had here on Earth, the good, the bad, the ugly, and precious few lofty moments. The story of crossing over is mind-bending, glimpsing our potential to reappear in a heaven (one of many) or in any of 31 Planes of Existence in countless worlds. Stories come in from around the globe π ➡️ tinyurl.com/helptheothersidende π See more of Penny Wittbrodt and her NDE here ▶️ witthealthcoaching.com. #nde #neardeathexperiences

| The "soul" (self) is not immortal. It dies from moment to moment in life whether we notice or not. The process continues after "death." So we are neither immortal nor do we end by death. |
![]() |
| Science finally uncovers what really happens |
What happens after we die? While many scientists believe that death is the end, quantum physics suggests that it might not be as simple as we think.
In fact, it could be an illusion.
This new scientific idea challenges everything we know about life and "death." By looking at concepts like the interconnectedness of all things and the nature of consciousness, here’s to a whole new perspective on life after death.
Biocentrism challenges our understanding of death and life

.
![]() |
| Everything doesn't go black? |
Dr. Robert Lanza, a leading expert in biotechnology, plays a major role in this idea.
He’s the chief scientific officer at the Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where he studies stem cells and how they can be used to treat diseases.
Before this, Dr. Lanza focused on researching embryonic stem cells and cloning, working with both animals and humans. [Illegal human cloning?] He is also an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina.

| Beyond Biocentrism: Rethinking Time, Space, Conscious -ness, and the Illusion of Death (Dr. Robert Lanza) |
The idea is that time and space, as we understand them, are not fixed. Our awareness of these concepts might shape what we experience as life and death.
![]() |
| Can we change the subject? This is upsetting. |
By studying stem cells and regenerative medicine, Dr. Lanza is working to explore how life can be extended or even renewed [as happens anyway according to the science-friendly Eastern traditions, in a recycling modality known as samsara].
His research into cloning and stem cells shows that the boundaries of life might not be as clear-cut as we once believed.
If we can manipulate biological processes, it suggests that life—at least the biological part of it—could be much more flexible than we realize. More:

| This pre-pandemic doc warned us |
For profit doctors do best to go along to get along even as patients die prematurely or are irrevocably injured. Meanwhile. through hastily passed legislation, pharmaceutical companies are made immune to prosecution for any consequences from use of their vaccine preparations.
This is the great advantage of securing "emergency use authorizations," which is not possible if there is any other viable treatment. There are other viable treatments, such as the very safe and famous human drug ivermectin, but it cannot be acknowledged by doctors because that will ruin the pharmaceutical companies' immunity because EUA cannot legally be granted. Research it.

LSD is mushroom, moldy bread brain (PBS)
![]() |
| Doctors and hippies were onto something. |
Then there are the Sixties, provided courtesy of LSD and cannabis. Who knew that the ergot on rye grain is a fungus? Fungi is mushroom, which is the fruiting body of the organism rooted in mycelia (the invisible matting underground that sends up mushrooms and makes the forest a natural "internet," playfully referred to as the Wood Wide Web.
Ergot fungus on rye and other grains such as barley is what was isolated to make LSD, lysergic acid diethylamide. The Spirit Molecule DMT plays into this, who knows, but it must because it is so widespread in nature and in the middle of our brains at the point called the third eye (pineal gland), which seems to be the transducer and modulator between worlds, the illusory one and the one behind it.
If we're in a matrix, how does anyone know except that they have had a taste of the real thing, the more real Dreamland or Spirit World from fevered dreams and spiritual visions? Who can say? But we are not seeing the world that is really here, only a tiny slice of the band of visible light and intriguing shadow.![]() |
| How to avoid possession by Mara |
When people take an entheogen, a psychedelic, their pupils dilate, that is, open up. It is as if they are now taking in more light and trying to capture it all with eyes wide open. It's a wider sliver of the band, into what we could call invisible light.
Why can we call it that? If ordinary consciousness and physical eyes see these wavelengths, this much of the range, what must dilated pupils and activated occipital lobes be able to take in? LSD is expanding the range, which is why Freak Street (Nepal) fashions and shamanic regalia are so colorful.
