20 and Back: The Super Soldiers defending the Kuiper Belt

(The Why Files) The Why Files: Operation Podcast. On April 7, 2016, the team running NASA’s New Horizons mission were waiting nervously.

Rebecca Rose was trained to be a super soldier.

The spacecraft was about to enter the outermost reaches of our solar system. They'd aimed toward Pluto, which lives in a region of the solar system called the Kuiper Belt.

Just before arriving at the dwarf planet, the team noticed an object nearby. And it was acting very strange.

NASA: "Never a Straight Answer"

This object, whatever it was, was spinning faster than everything else around it, too fast, artificially fast. And the object reflected light in an odd way. New Horizons changed course to do a fly-by. They wanted a better look at this bizarre behavior.

But as the spacecraft approached the object, all communications went down. NASA wasn't able to see or hear anything.

Will world end on December 21, 2012?

...One idea with at least some credibility is that the Earth will one day be hit by a large extra-terrestrial object.

But David Morrison dismisses the idea put forward in the [2012 doomsday] film that this will be a mysterious planet known as Nibiru -- long the subject of speculation among the gloom-mongers of cyberspace.

Niburu was supposedly first identified by the Sumerian people, who lived 5,000 years ago in what is now southern Iraq. And it is said to be heading towards Earth at an alarming rate. Fictitious though planet Nibiru is, the Earth has always been subject to strikes by comets and asteroids. But to do any real damage, an object would have to be more than a mile wide. Such big hits are rare and the last was 65 million years ago, leading to the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Proof at last? This screen grab from the video shows an apparent UFO approaching the ground with unearthly beings that alight and look around.

For an alien looking to explore Earth, the frozen wastes of Siberia may not be the most attractive of landing locations. But if this film footage is to be believed, that's exactly where these "little green men" chose to land their UFO.

The clip, filmed in the remote Irkutsk region of Siberia, appears to show a strange glowing craft and five aliens walking about in the snow.

It shows what seems to be an alien about four feet tall, standing 15 feet away from its glowing craft, with four other similar figures nearby. The short clip was taken two days after mysterious lights illuminated the Siberian night skies above Bayanday, also in Irkutsk.

Why is Google Sky blocking new planet?

...This leads to an even more interesting issue. According to the Avebury Manor crop circle, the planet "Nibiru" will be entering the solar system roughly from the constellation Virgo.

As Marduk2012 has indicated, if one tries to check the sky map on Google Sky or wikisky.org, the approximate location of where Nibiru should have been right now is deliberately blocked by a black square, as in these pictures.

(TIME) The quest for Planet X always starts out with celestial objects behaving badly.

Astronomers notice that a known planet, or a bunch of comets, begin moving in ways Newton's laws of motion can't explain.

They propose that it's caused by the gravity of something massive and still undiscovered lurking out in the Solar System, and they head to their telescopes to search for it.

Most often it's all a big mistake; the unexplained motion turns out to be just an incorrect measurement. (The great exception concerned Neptune, spotted in 1846 after observers noticed Uranus wandering from its predicted path).

This year the Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles featured a rare live appearance by radical religious historian and language expert Zecharia Sitchin. And Wisdom Quarterly was there. Sitchin is nearly 90, but in a lecture that spanned two-and-a-half hours he detailed how the Sumerian cuneiform tablets, Hebrew Bible, and Egyptian hieroglyphs all converge to make one point: Our mythologies are in fact histories. Our technologies and civilizations were handed to us. These things really happened. There are real forebears from space (devas, Elohim/gods, Nephilim/giants, Annunaki/visitors, angels, Eagle-men, ancient astronauts) like Enki in Sumer. They came on shem (vimana, spacecraft) and communicated with kings and leaders on Earth. This includes the Maya, Babylonians, and older cultures.

He made it very clear that the Mayans made no prophecies about destruction. The Mayan Calendar does not represent the end of the world. It is a long-form count of days (cycles of 144,000) between an event that occurred in 3113 BC and its anticipated reoccurrence. What event? The coming of the sky god (winged serpent, naga king, or dragon) Quetzalcoatl. The date may actually be 2060 not 2012. Other than that, Sitchin is actually very contemporary in his concerns. He is from Israel, fears Iran (ancient Persia), wonders about Iraq (ancient Mesopotamia), and is concerned with enormously significant prophecies and revelations.

At the end of his long lecture, perhaps feeling that he had let people down by not answering the questions we had written for him (which he will instead answer on his website), he made a shocking announcement. He will publish one more book. It has already been sent to press with the working title There Were Giants. The last chapter of this book is kept under lock and key with the publisher because premature release of it would destroy the purpose of the prophecy. But that prophecy will rock the world, he says. Look forward to publication of this final book by a great historian and linguist at the end of May.

The latest big screen offering from Sony Picture, "2012," arrives in theaters on Friday, with a 200-million-dollar production about the end of the world supposedly based on myths backed by the Mayan calendar. The doomsday scenario revolves around claims that the end of time will come as an obscure Planet X -- or Nibiru -- heads toward or collides with Earth.

The mysterious planet was supposedly discovered by the Sumerians, according to claims by pseudo-scientists, paranormal activity enthusiasts and Internet theorists. Some websites accuse NASA of concealing the truth on the wayward planet's existence, but the US space agency denounced such stories as an "Internet hoax."

Origins: Sumerian and proto-Indian

The term "Nibiru" comes from Sumerian cuneiform tablets and writings dating back 5,000 years. (Sumer was located in an area Dr. Ranajit Pal has found to be important for its Buddhist archeology and explains the sudden rise of the Indus Valley civilization that came to be India. And although WQ seems to be the first to point this out, is it not odd that the highest, most important "mountain" in Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain cosmology or simply the Indian imagination, Mt. Sumeru?)

Nibiru means "Planet of the Crossing." It's cuneiform sign was often a cross or various winged discs (saucers, platters, circular objects).

The Sumerian culture was located in the fertile lands between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, at the southern part of today's Iraq. It was the home of a technologically advanced human-like alien race. This race was the "Anunnaki" in Sumerian terms, which survived and later came to Earth.
