Ms. Edurne Pasaban, a Spanish mountain climber, reached the top of Mt. Kangchenjunga in Nepal and India -- the world's third-highest peak at an elevation of 28,169 feet (8,586 meters) on May 18, 2009.

Kangchenjunga is the twelfth mountain of over 8,000 meters Pasaban has climbed as part of her goal to become the first woman to conquer the world's 14 highest peaks (Source).

Nepal has various names for Yeti. One is Ban-manche, which means "forest (wild) man." Interestingly, the other is Kangchenjunga-rachyyas [Sanskrit, rakshasa], which means "Kanchenjunga's ogre."
