The documentary, which has been in the making for seven years, also explores the origin and development of Tibetan Buddhism and Theravada Buddhism. It will take viewers to 227 temples in 98 cities.

It is directed by prominent documentary maker Zhou Bing, whose other works include "Forbidden City" (Gu Gong), "Dunhuang Caves" (Dun Huang), and "The Bund" (Wai Tan). Source
