Why Bible accurate angels are so creepy
(Hochelaga, 7/31/20) Ever wonder why biblically-accurate angels look so creepy? Instead of beautiful, angelic humanoids, the Bible depicts bizarre animal-human hybrids (chimeras), fiery winged beasts, and wheels made of eyes -- as if the Sumerian characters the Bible bases them on are real. It is uncertain, but some believe that angels are descendants of mythical beasts across the ancient Near East.
