That hasn't stopped the US government from backing Israel's horrific campaign in Gaza to the hilt. The White House has refused to heed calls for a "ceasefire" and has even deployed two aircraft carriers to the Mediterranean — not to defend victims in Palestine, but to dissuade regional powers (Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc.) from joining the attack on genocidal Israel to defend Muslim civilians in Palestine.
As the possibility of a regional war -- and even a world war if Iran is attacked and Russia and China step in -- looms with the entry of Yemen into the conflict, many wonder how the US might respond to such a scenario.
