Hooray for Kamala and VP Tim Walz (TDS)

Kamala Devi picks Minnesota Gov. and Midwestern dad Tim Walz as running mate
DJ and JD not taking the news well.
(The Daily Show) Aug. 6, 2024: Michael Kosta gets to know Tim Walz, 60, the governor Kamala D. Harris, 59.5, chose as her running mate. While the Trump campaign claims the vice-presidential candidate will “unleash hell on earth,” Democrats love his political record and "Midwestern Dad AF" vibes. Plus, Josh Johnson weighs in on why Gov. Walz is the “right type of white guy” for this race. #DailyShow #TimWalz #KamalaDeviHarris

Why are Americans so childish, calling them "Tampon Tim" and "Kamel Devi Hairy"?

(The Hill) Jess' Journal: Way Kamala should pick Minn. Gov. Tim Walz

FACT: Blacks know she's not pro-Black.
Imagine a world where candidates choose better candidates for the No. 2 position than are sitting in the big chair in the Oval Office. The world would be better under JD Vance than DJ Trance (increasingly demented and slipping Don John Trump), and now we are safe from hacks like Mark "Astro-not" Kelly and Yeshiva Shapiro.

Progressive Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, 60, has been chosen in a move no one saw coming but which we prayed for yesterday.
You as Veep? Never!! - It's already happened.
He's a solid choice. His daughter Hope Walz is a vegetarian, and that's good, but he may have a meat and drinking problem -- and is aging poorly, which has him looking like a cross between Bernie and G-Joe. Nobody's perfect. Momala still has problems (thinking on her feet, speaking from her beak, trying to act street), but she's bound to get better as she becomes the real-life Julia "Veep" Louis-Dreyfus.

Yesterday (Aug. 5), the world was ending. It was the beginning of the end. Listen to Gary and Shannon explain it: GAS Hour 1 - Kamala’s VP Choice

Recession was looming. War was coming (and may still be). And now things are looking better. The stock market is up after 1,000-point dip yesterday. Remember, "Buy low, sell high." Question: When is "low"? Answer: Right after a crash, a rollercoaster dip, a collapse, which is when everyone is least likely to buy, so it takes guts/hope.

There's hope for a Democratic ticket we can support. Trump is being prosecuted after all. And who knows how long Netanyahu can hold on to power and immunity.
The crass humor of American politics (lol)
