(Buddha's Wisdom) A Prophet: Buddhism and Islam compared
Is Islam most feminist?
- [Muhammad (PBUH) is thought by Islam to have been the final prophet of the God Allah and a messenger of the Archangel Gabriel), a man with no teacher (who knew Sakka, King of the Devas/Angels, Buddhism's version, echo, or pre-Abrahamic religion knowledge of that very Gabriel, a figure who in Christianity threw Lucifer out of heaven and who in Buddhism is a figure who tossed out the titan demon (asura chieftain) Vepacitti/Vemacitrin out of the Heaven of the Thirty-Three devas)]
- [Would the Buddha be considered a "prophet" in Islam? The question sounds preposterous, but he is officially and formally a "saint" in Catholicism. In Hinduism, he is an avatar (incarnation of the God Vishnu). So it's not impossible that another world religion would hold him so highly.]
