Now that Black History Month
is out of the way, we can continue Black History 24X365. We live not
only in a sexist but a racist society, and we have to become aware of
our implicit bias (our unconscious prejudice and the fears and double
standards we hold). The only solution for it would seem to be the modern
insights of Prof. Joy DeGruy and the data and analysis of Prof.
Michelle Alexander. Even that may not be enough, so we will persevere
until we have fairness and actual equal opportunity for all. Having paid
respects to the great Christian peace activist Rev. Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. in February -- we turn our attention to a heroic American
leader, the lesser known, former Muslim Malcolm X.
