(Hollywood Reporter) NBC News Los Angeles reported that Chappelle's attacker had gun-knife, that is, a gun that “can eject a knife blade.”

Police say Chappelle was not injured, just knocked on his arse. His attacker, Isiah Lee, is currently being held on $30,000 bail.

Video shows Chappelle after being tackled recovering his composure, joking, “It was a trans man,” a joke referring to the ongoing controversy surrounding the comedian’s jokes in his Netflix specials construed as transphobic.
