Make love, not war: Science of [Oral] Sex

I was a victim of sexual abuse.

TRIGGER WARNING: Frank discussion of adult consensual sex! Wisdom Quarterly is sex-positive. Craving and clinging to sex, the idea of sex, and/or the five strands of sensuality is an obstacle to success in meditation and insight and a danger to morality/virtue, making it difficult to uphold the Five Precepts. Yet, sex itself is a human pastime. The Human Plane (Manussya Loka) is a collection of worlds in the Sensual Realm (Kama Loka). Sex, healthy sex, is not the same as craving, grasping, clinging, or obsession with sensuality, which is certainly an obstacle. For those who aspire not to enlightenment and nirvana -- wisdom and liberation from all suffering -- in this very life but to a fortunate rebirth, even rebirth in celestial/heavenly worlds (Deva Loka) below the Brahma Lokas, if the Five Precepts are maintained, avoiding "sexual misconduct" (kamesu micchacara), sex need not be an obstacle to a good Buddhist life. Avoid harm.

That having been said, let's take it back to basics.
 
There's a scientific reason [some] love oral sex

Um, I'm undecided about it still.

Why do we [as modern humans] engage in oral sex? As foreplay, or because we genuinely like it?

Well, according to a recent study [reported June 2016], it looks like there is a lot more science behind why we love oral sex than simply moving from third base to fourth base.

We all know why we have an innate need to have penetrative sex -- the evolutionary purpose of reproduction. But oral sex is slightly different, according to the Journal of Reproductive Immunology.

Apparently, the reason women like to give oral sex is [allegedly, according to scientific speculation] because swallowing a man's semen can help a woman's body become accustomed to his DNA. This, in turn, helps the woman during pregnancy because her body will not see the fertilized semen as "foreign," which could lead to pregnancy disorders.

As to why men like to give oral sex, the findings revealed a seemingly shallower intention: to stop the woman from cheating. Yes, the [scientific] study suggests that the more oral sex a woman received, the less likely she is to cheat. All very sexy, isn't it?

An Ohio woman has been arrested accused of raping and robbing a male taxi driver while two [male] accomplices remain at large.

 

Brittany Carter, 23, was charged this month with first-degree rape and aggravated robbery for a Jan. 28 incident in Findlay, Ohio, according to The News-Messenger.

 

Police said Carter got into a taxi around 4:24 am with two men that was called from a local hotel.

In the vehicle, Carter performed a sex act on the 29-year-old driver while another passenger, Corey Jackson, 20, held a knife against his throat.

Carter and the two men allegedly stole $32 from the driver’s pocket and fled.

 

“We don’t know why she did it,” Findlay Lt. Robert Ring told the News-Messenger. “Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him.”

(Wisdom Quarterly) It's been a tough month. The world saw Obama's true colors, camouflage green and gray, as he sent even more troops into an unpopular "war." (It's more "wholesale massacre" and carpet bombing, with space-age drones as the new twist to replace Vietnam-era agent orange). Some people believe [Annunaki] bloodlines are crucial to ruling the world.

Of course, it's all "crazy talk." But this is an ancient belief, particularly in Afghanistan and India, which says Reptilians (Nagas) are the true rulers of this world -- and they do it by proxy. So genes are important. Buddhist texts frequently mention "Dragon-Kings" (naga rajas), who are now thought of as mythological or semi-human hybrids. Good thing African-American Obama has no such genes...oh, wait a minute. He's related to Dick Cheney, and now we find he's also linked to one of the world's most prominent movers and shakers, Warren Buffett.

Obama's announcement that he would be escalating the war came ludicrously close to accepting his Nobel Peace Prize. But that he did both should not confuse anyone. Why? One of the world's worst killers is former US Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger -- a good friend, personal confidante, and political advisor of Obama's.

Interestingly, and it's probably just a coincidence, Kissinger "won" the Nobel Peace Prize -- even as he was overseeing the escalation of the US war on Vietnam. (Again, not so much a "war" as a massacre, a carpet bombing escapade that secretly and illegally included adjacent countries; today it's Pakistan and Iran, but back then it was Laos and Cambodia. Because as we patrol the world, and Kissinger gets the long awaited NWO, we've got to keep everybody in line, and if that can be done covertly, all the better).

God (the working out of karma) is funny that way. "The true gods of this world are hybrids" (Reptilian-humans) according to anthropologist Michael J. Harner. But this is only information derived from mystical sources. It is not that it is true. Instead, it seems there are unseen being who regard themselves as the rulers here, then as now. The Buddha was frequently confronted by Nagas and Maras (spiritual "killers") who seemed convinced of their superiority relative to humans on Earth, when we humans (then as now) regard ourselves as supreme here.

Yet, clearly, someone is ruling us by proxy. It's only a nominally democratic planet. The Naga Kings continue to shape the agenda and move the world to the majority's disadvantage. If rulership is transdimensional, occupying (i.e., possessing) humans to rule when their actions are completely out of character, it makes more sense. How is Clinton, not our current secretary of state but our former president, to be understood for his odd behavior? But, of course, all this is crazy talk. No one does nothing, and all is just as it seems. "God [karma] works in mysterious ways." And so the world has lost Oral Roberts.

Instead, there may be no gods or many gods, and there is no master plan for the universe. Instead, spirits are eternal, and individual virtue — karma — determines what happens to your spirit in your next life. With some exceptions, this view generally allows the acceptance of both embryo research to support life and genetically modified crops.”

By contrast, in the Judeo-Christian tradition, God is the master creator who gives out new souls to each individual human being and gives humans “dominion” over soul-less plants and animals. To traditional Christians who consider an embryo to be a human being with a soul, it is wrong for scientists to use cloning to create human embryos or to destroy embryos in the course of research.

I cannot help but wonder how much further along we would be in fighting birth defects, eradicating disease, and increasing our understanding of the universe we would be if science was not constantly bumping into certain unfortunate superstitions.

The brutal truth is that Christianity has been acting like an anchor struggling to hold back scientific progress for hundreds of years. They live in constant terror that someday science will reveal that their faith is based on a lie, and they spend an inordinate amount of time trying to slow down that eventuality.

Wednesday's "700 Club" featured a question about the Christian view of yoga. A concerned viewer asked, "Does it really have its origins in evil?" Pat Robertson gave the verdict: Yes! According to Pat, stretching is fine, but by repeating common yoga mantras, you are actually praying to Hindu gods Vishnu and Krishna and you're not even aware of it!

I love how Christians always frame their arguments in terms of "good and evil," with Christianity always representing "good" and everything else on the side of "evil." So books about boy wizards are "evil."

Meditation is "evil."
Yoga is "evil."
Science is "evil."
Critical thinking is "evil."

You know what is "evil"? Close minded people, that's where "evil" really dwells. And the people who listen to them are "stupid."

Every ounce of my flesh said 'no'" to the idea, Roberts said, but he prayed over the decision with his wife and his father, Oral Roberts, and decided to step down.

Roberts said he wanted to "strike out" against the people who were persecuting him, and considered counter-suing, but "the Lord said, 'don't do that,'" he said.

Apparently Roberts has frequent conversations with God. And surprisingly God may have a problem with ethics.Roberts has previously said that God told him to deny the allegations. The week the lawsuit was filed, Richard Roberts said that God told him:

"We live in a litigious society. Anyone can get mad and file a lawsuit against another person whether they have a legitimate case or not. This lawsuit...is about intimidation, blackmail, and extortion."

And what we learn from the above statement is that God has no trouble encouraging his people to lie, but that makes total sense as it is also clear that God is a lawyer. And that is further reinforced by the fact that God made the following plea deal.

On Wednesday, Roberts said God told him he would "do something supernatural for the university," if he stepped down from the job he held at the 5,700-student school since 1993.

Something supernatural huh. I am going to guess rain of toads. Or maybe the earth will open up and swallow the whole damn school. Now that would almost make me a believer!
