Proof of reincarnation in Egypt (video)

The Why Files, premiered Dec. 2, 2022; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Proof of reincarnation | Dorothy Eady: Ancient Egyptian priestess reborn
Three-year old Dorothy Eady was playing, then accidentally fell down a flight of stairs. She hit her head and was knocked unconscious.

When her parents found her, she wasn't breathing. They called a doctor who rushed over immediately. Dorothy's mother broke down when the doctor said there was nothing he could do. Her little girl was dead.

The doctor left and returned an hour later with Dorothy's death certificate and gently discussed arrangements for the little girl's body.

Graham Hancock is obsessed with Egypt.
But during this conversation, shuffling was heard coming from Dorothy's room. They ran upstairs and there she was, playing in her room like nothing happened.

The doctor examined her again. There was no sign of injury. He had no explanation. He said it appeared as if Dorothy Eady had come back from the dead. He didn't realize how right he was.

Archeology: New finds may push Buddha's birth

Subodh Varma (TNN, Nov. 26, 2013); Dhr. Seven (ed.), Mara Schaeffer, Wisdom Quarterly
Maya's auspicious dream: Queen Maya, the Buddha's mother, dreamed of conception.
Team of archeologists excavate at site of modern Maya Devi Temple, Nepal (Antiquity)

Salabhanjika (Hoysala sculpture, Belur)
NEW DELHI, India - Remains of a tree shrine found buried below the Maya Devi Temple in modern Lumbini, Nepal, may push back the date of the Buddha's birth to the sixth century BCE.

The temple is located on what traditionally was thought to be the birth place of the Buddha. His mother, Queen Maya, gave birth to Siddhartha while holding on to a tree branch. [This accords with the legendary Indian motif of a Sal tree dryad or salabhanjika.]

Excavations within the Maya Devi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, uncovered the remains of a previously unknown sixth century BCE timber structure under a series of brick temples.

Laid out on the same design as those above it, the timber structure contains an open space in the center that links to the story of the Buddha's birth.

Queen Maha Maya, Siddhartha's mother
This is the first archeological material linking the life of the Buddha -- and thus the first flowering of Buddhism -- to a specific century.

Until now, the earliest archeological evidence of Buddhist structures at Nepal's Lumbini dated no earlier than the third century BCE, the time of the patronage of the Indian Emperor Asoka, who promoted the spread of Buddhism west from present-day Afghanistan east to Bangladesh [likely the extent of India in his day, centuries after the life of the historical Buddha, the "Shakyan Sage" or Shakyamuni].

"Very little is known about the life of the Buddha, except through textual sources and oral tradition," said archaeologist Professor Robin Coningham of Durham University, UK, who co-led the investigation.

"Now, for the first time, we have an archaeological sequence at Lumbini that shows a building there as early as the sixth century BC."
The exact date of the Buddha's birth is yet to be established. In Nepal, the year 623 BCE is favored, while in other traditions more recent dates, around 400 BCE, are accepted.

The first clear date linking Lumbini with the Buddha is 249 BCE, when Emperor Ashoka installed a pillar marking it as a sacred place. Lost and overgrown in the jungles of lower Nepal [Terai] in the medieval period, ancient Lumbini was [allegedly] rediscovered in 1896 and identified as the birthplace of the Buddha on account of the presence of a third century BCE sandstone pillar.
The pillar, which still stands, bears an inscription documenting a visit by Emperor Asoka to the site of the Buddha's birth as well as the site's name (as determined by Asoka's men), Lumbini.

The international team of archeologists, led by R.A.E. Coningham and Kosh Prasad Acharya of the Pashupati Area Development Trust in Nepal, say the discovery contributes to a greater understanding of the early development of Buddhism as well as the spiritual importance of Lumbini in Nepal [rather than its more likely location in the area of Seistan Baluchistan near modern Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran.

Their peer-reviewed findings are reported in the December 2013 issue of the international journal Antiquity. The research is partly supported by the National Geographic Society. More

The earliest Buddhist shrine: excavating the birthplace of the Buddha, Lumbini (Nepal)
Birth of Siddhartha, future Buddha
Key locations identified with the lives of important religious founders have often been extensively remodelled in later periods, entraining the destruction of many of the earlier remains. Recent UNESCO-sponsored work at the major Buddhist centre of Lumbini in Nepal has sought to overcome these limitations, providing direct archaeological evidence of the nature of an early Buddhist shrine and a secure chronology. The excavations revealed a sequence of early structures preceding the major rebuilding by Asoka during the third century BC. The sequence of durable brick architecture supplanting non-durable timber was foreseen by British prehistorian Stuart Piggott when he was stationed in India over 70 years ago. Lumbini provides a rare and valuable insight into the structure and character of the earliest Buddhist shrines.

Was the Buddha born in Afghanistan? (movie)

Ashley Wells, Dhr. Seven, CC Liu, Amber Larson, Wisdom Quarterly; READER LETTER
Mes Aynak, Afghanistan Budhhas (Andy Miller/businesstoday.intoday.in)

An unnamed reader writes that s/he agrees with the hypothesis set forth by Dr. Ranajit Pal (ranajitpal.com). The theory states that the Buddha was born in the Sistan-Baluchistan region [formerly the northern border/frontier of India, now Pakistan and Afghanistan] overlapping Iran's southeastern border area in Afghanistan.

The Buddha has always been addressed as Sakyamuni ["Sage of the Sakya tribe"], and in ancient times Sistan-Baluchistan was called Sakastan.

Equestrian Scythians were archers (wiki)
The Sakas [Sakyas?] were a Scythian tribe spread all over the ancient Gandhara region.

Moreover, the Buddha has always been described as having blue eyes, which is a common feature in the people of that area even today.

(ZB/Foundation) "The Legend of Buddha" With spectacular animation and engaging narration, this presentation of the life of the Buddha follows the journey of the Enlightened One from a fun-filled childhood to the difficult quest for attaining nirvana. (PentaMedia Graphics Ltd. hired 70 key animators and 300 others to create it using about 450,000 drawings of the Buddha were made to create the film, which covers nearly all aspects of his life).

Buddhism began to be obliterated from the Gandhara region starting from the 7th century A.D. and was dealt the final blow by the Mongol invaders, who conducted a genocide in that area.
The world's oldest Buddha statues, dating back to 600 B.C., have been found on the outskirts of the capital of Kabul [Kapil? Kapilavastu] in and around Mes Aynak, Afghanistan.

Mes Aynak ("Copper Well") was the world's oldest known copper mine dating from 3000 B.C. The copper and other precious reserves found at this site have been valued at 100 billion U.S. dollars.

A Chinese company has secured the mining rights from Afghanistan, and there is concern about the threatened complete destruction of the site (as Wisdom Quarterly has covered in various articles exploreing the Buddha's real birthplace, such as one asking the question, Where was the Buddha really born?)
This message was received in response to The Buddha was born in Nepal... when angry Anoop Thapa Xhettri wrote "do a little research before writing such rubbish and false..."

20 problems with Obama birth certificate

Wisdom Quarterly

(buzzfeed.com)

We have to be embarrassed when our own government can't forge a document well enough to satisfy even amateur forensic analysts. There are unanswered problems. First, there are 20 problems with the "document" itself, an obviously fabricated electronic image. Second, for a long time the Hawaiian governor claimed there was no birth certificate, that it didn't exist. Suddenly here it is. Third, the Social Security number Obama once used is not one a normal citizen would have been given. Lawyer Orly Taitz, who knew and went to school with Barry, explains:

Orly Taitz Raises a New Issue: Obama’s Social Security Number
Jonathan Weisman (Christian Science Monitor)
Orly Taitz, the California dentist and lawyer who has led efforts to question President Barack Obama's birth place, has moved on to a new [problem] now that the White House has released his long-form birth certificate.

In an interview with Washington Wire, she now says that Mr. Obama once used a Social Security number that was not assigned to him. She [also] claims he graduated from Columbia University in nine months, not two years, as he claims.

“I have to say that this is a step in the right direction,” she said of the release of the birth certificate, “just as the release of the Watergate tapes was a step in right direction by Richard Nixon. And like Richard Nixon, there’s a good chance this will cost him his presidency.”

"The President of the Universe's job is not to wield power, but to distract attention away from it."

Explanation
Wisdom Quarterly (ANALYSIS)
What does it all mean? Barack "Barry Soetoro" Hussein Obama is president of the corporation (US, Inc.), not of the United States as we know it. But as it turns out, allegiance to something other than the country may be the oath taken by other presidents as well. (George Washington was able to levy taxes unconstitutionally by taking a special oath to something other than the sovereign country he was meant to preside over). George Bush and Dick Cheney, the two worst persons ever to hold the office, had no legal right to do so because they were from the same state. But that did not stop them or the (s)election process. It's just nice to know where we stand with presidents rather than being lied to constantly. Obama wants war. Obama wants debt. Obama wants whatever the military-industrial complex wants him to want (more nuclear reactors, more oil dependence, more corporate bailouts, unthinkable man made disasters and the Marshal law that goes with them...). All that Bush-Cheney wanted the (Orwellian) hard way, Obama was installed to give us the easy (Brave New World Huxley) way. The bottom line is, we are not allowed to question because to question something with so many implications makes one a "Birther," a "conspiracy theorist," a "nut." Truth is truth, and truth will out, whatever the truth may be. That the wagons in the mainstream media circle around to protect the lie or that Sarah Palin and Donald Trump are "convinced" and quiet down is no surprise. This is not Right versus Left; this is lifting the veil of why things in our world really happen in spite of the cover stories. Smile. Sometimes it's enough to know. And we are very blessed to know more than people at almost any time in history. Thank goodness the powers that be selected a very genial, handsome, and above all well-spoken "universal president."

Top 20 Conspiracy Theories That Have Already Sprung Up Around President Obama’s Birth Certificate
(Politics Buzz) It didn't take long to find inconsistencies and mysterious anomalies with President Obama's long form birth certificate. And this is only within the first few hours of the document's release. Give the Birthers a few days to come up with some really juicy stuff.

1. The patterned background is too seamless for a document kept in a bound volume [for decades].
2. The “Date Accepted” is four days later than “Date of Birth.”
3. Smudges in box next to name of attendant.
4. M.D. who signed the document conveniently died eight years ago.
5. Two mysterious Xs above “twin” and “triplet.”
6. Unexplained “8991” on document's right side.
7. “41” at to right of document looks suspicious.
8. Birth certificate of someone born at the same hospital a day later has a lower number.
9. There is no official seal.
10. Still says “Certificate of Live Birth.”
11. Instead of “African” under father's race, “Colored” or “Negro” would have been used in 1961.
12. The type for “Caucasian” is too perfect, not possible for a typewriter from 1961.
13. No footprint.
14. No birth weight.
15. Signature of mother and attendant are too similar.
16. Under hour of birth, the “M.” in “P.M.” is a different font.
17. Address for Obama's childhood home is the middle of a highway.
18. Hawaii's Governor until recently claimed there was no birth certificate.
19. Obviously Photoshopped. Layers!
20. We all know his real name is Barry Saetoro [Soetoro] and he changed his name to Barack Obama after visiting Pakistan. More

Obama, the Great [R]eader

Obama, a Great Leader?

A great teleprompter reader, yes. An actual leader, not so much. Obama TV party? Serious fans of the Colbert Report and Daily Show were reduced to watching CSPAN for jokes delivered by a standing president? It makes sense because, as we are often forced to point out: "The President of the Universe's job is not to wield power, but to distract attention away from it" (Douglas Adams).
  • Millions in the United States are still convinced their president is a fraud -- and not even a true American
(Daily Mail) Just a few steps from the authoritative hush of the Oval Office lies a series of rooms bustling with frenetic activity. The sharp-suited men and women who work there command the most sophisticated news-gathering technology on the planet. At a moment's notice, they can summon the world's press to the West Wing, command front-page headlines, or interrupt regular TV programming.

The officials in the press center of the White House like to say that they are the president's last line of defense -- and they probably believe it. Certainly it can claim to be the most powerful media-affairs office on the planet.

Right now, though, its embattled occupants might be praying for cruder forms of protection -- landmines and barbed wire, say:
COMMENTARY
NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN: The president must be a "natural born Citizen." To be a “natural born Citizen,” both U.S. place of birth (or its equivalent) and two U.S. citizen parents at the time of birth are needed. These birth circumstances produce sole allegiance and unity of citizenship at birth, a natural condition that the Founders and Framers wanted in future presidents and commanders in chief.

It is only this natural condition that excludes all foreign allegiance and includes loyalty and attachment only to the U.S. at the time of birth. Such a condition allows a child to be born with no foreign allegiance and with loyalty and attachment only to the country of his or her parents.

If one of the parents is not a U.S. citizen, then the child will inherit from the non-U.S. citizen parent by jus sanguinis a foreign allegiance which will prevent the child from being a “natural born Citizen.” Obama is not a "natural born Citizen" because he was born to a non-U.S. citizen father. He is not eligible. - Mario Apuzzo, Esq., New Jersey, USA , 5/01/11

WARMONGER: After being deceived by Blair and Bush, who told you lies to justify the Iraq War, why would you accept a computer file copy of a supposed "birth certificate" from a politician, who has spent significant money over the past 3 years to prevent its release?

Come on now, you must be objective and demonstrate a modicum of skepticism here. There is ample evidence to suggest that there are major anomalies and "red flags" in the "birth certificate" file.

Do a YouTube search for "birth certificate fake" and you will see dozens of videos (many done by computer design professionals) demonstrating the glaring anomalies. But don't take their word for it. Have the officially released file analyzed by any court-approved, professional, forensic document-analysis company and let them render an authoritative, objective, 3rd party opinion.

Then publish those findings. You will have a publishable story in either case (fake or real). Why not do this? Cost is less than 500 quid. - John, New York, USA, 4/30/11 More

Katmandu paralyzed by Maoist strike

Buddha's eyes overlook Kathmandu from the Boudanath temple com-plex along the ancient Himalayan road to Tibet on the outskirts of Nepal's capital.

A general strike called by Ne-pal's former Maoist rebels to protest the alleged killing of one of their leaders has shut down the capital, Kath-mandu. Shops, schools, and businesses closed on Monday as members of the Young Communist League (YCL) gathered in main inter-sections of the city to enforce the strike.

Protesters burned tires and forced cars and buses off the road, with demonstrators vandalizing at least three cars for defying the strike. The strike came days after Rajendra Phuyal, a local Maoist leader, was found dead in Kathmandu.

The youth wing of the former rebel Maoist faction accuses police of inaction and a rival group of killing its leader (Reuters/Al Jazeera).

Chan Tan Chou, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Kathmandu, said: "People are very frustrated but they’re also very intimidated because these people are traveling in mobs swinging batons and creating a lot of noise.

"Protests like this, and of course there are smaller scale ones as well, have been going on every other day to keep up the pressure on the new government," he said.

Murder accusations
Police have said they do not yet know how Phuyal died or who is responsible. But the former Maoist rebels have blamed the youth members of another rival party for the death and demanded that those involved be arrested. The former Maoist rebels ended their decade-long armed struggle against Nepal's monarchy toppling the king three years ago and entered a peace process.

They won general elections in 2008 and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the top rebel leader, became prime minister. Last month, Dahal tried to fire the head of the country's army, in part for not integrating the former guerrillas into the armed forces. When the president overruled his order, Dahal resigned as prime minister. Source
