Jeffrey Epstein, the Palm Beach [b]illionaire who was arrested earlier this month on child sex-trafficking charges, was found injured in his New York jail cell today, News 4 New York reported.
The station said Epstein, 66, was found in the fetal position and had marks on his neck, citing sources close to the investigation. The station said it may have been a possible suicide attempt [or hoax-injury], quoting sources.
Last Thursday, Senior U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman in NY ordered the accused serial sexual predator to remain incarcerated at the Manhattan Correctional Center. For example, young boys are regularly sexually abused by men in the Pashtun culture of formerly-Buddhist now Muslim Afghanistan, where a tradition of "boy play" (bacha bazi) exists.
It was illegal under the CIA's Taliban, but American troops are ordered to ignore it as a culturally-sensitive matter, so it goes on.
And it leads to widespread callousness and hypocrisy in that society, as in ours, where norms are enforced that cannot be talked about, believed in, or questioned.
Just as we have PizzaGate -- a scandal that is off-limits, dismissed as a nonexistent and outlandish "conspiracy theory" against Hillary Clinton and top politicians, and covered up -- so, too, in England they have the vile case of the BBC's Jimmy Savile and his legacy of powerful royalty, politicians, and elite rich people in the country molesting and trafficking children.
We allow this to go on even when our own president, Pres. Trump like Pres. Clinton before him, is implicated and involved as partaking of sex with minors on Jeffrey Epstein's Orgy Island after riding the Lolita Express many times.
Now Epstein is hurt in his protected cell? Suicide bid, hoax suicide bid, street justice beating because sex criminals (rapists, etc.) in general and child molesters in particular are hated in prison system? This has the fingerprints of a hoax. Epstein is very rich, and corrupt officials could be helping him.
