LIVE: Judge Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Day 4
(PBS NewsHour) The Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday (Oct. 15, 2020) holds its fourth and final day of the hearing on Judge Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court. Barrett’s testimony has concluded, and the committee will now hear witness statements from four Republicans and four Democrats. Republicans control the Senate majority and thus the majority in the committee, and they have the votes to send Barrett’s nomination out of committee to a full floor vote. Chair Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., opened the hearing by setting a committee vote for Oct. 22, but Democrats are expected to try to delay it.
