The Reason for the Season: Mushroom Santa

Eric Dubay, Dec. 2017; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Siberian (Sami) Shaman Santa Claus and the Magic Mushroom
(Cosmic Surfer) This production by Eric Dubay is based on widespread research that began in earnest with a banned book by a Vatican scholar who made much trouble for the Catholic Church and tradition, English archeologist and Dead Sea Scrolls scholar John Marco Allegro.

Sacred Mushroom (J. Allegro)
The magic mushroom is the Amanita muscaria or fly agaric entheogen, a favorite of reindeer.

The breakthrough book (The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross), so well researched that it could not be denied, was banned for decades but is now available (perhaps redacted in secret to make it less destructive to Vatican myths and propaganda).

The Sami are Native Scandinavian people with a shamanic culture, as is the custom with all first peoples. Their pre-Christian traditions were all taken in and adjust to Christian fairytales to mass consumption. But the pagan roots are evident to anyone who looks.

Some Buddhists believe entheogens like the ancient soma hold the key to sudden realization.
