Billion Dollar Lawsuit over Sharon Stone's "karma" comment

Actress Sharon Stone is facing a one billion dollar lawsuit over her comment made about China's earthquake potentially being "bad karma" resulting from its policies over Tibet. Wisdom Quarterly twice covered the untenability of her statement (see archives) made at the Cannes Film Festival.
Unless she apologizes, a New York lawyer has gathered together 1,000 "victims" of her insensitive comment. Interestingly, cameras caught Stone casually dismissing yesterday's Los Angeles earthquake. Just after it struck, a video crew caught her playfully joking, "That was fun, wasn't it? I felt like a real Californian."
