Vote to make GMO labels mandatory.
Voting is a joke in our pretend republic that calls itself a viable democracy. Everybody knows it. That's the way the powers-that-be want it, and they also do not want us to show up at the polls to cast ballots. It's a lot easier to rig and steal elections when few people are paying attention.

Who put McCain and Lieberman up to NDAA?
Vote Green, vote Independent, vote while avoiding "evil" from the two sides of our current one-party system. The "lesser of two evils" is still evil. And the one thing the Republicans and Democrats are firmly united on is that there never be a viable third party that upsets the cart, give people an actual choice, or brings up subjects the false Red vs. Blue game we play -- like Bloods vs. Crips -- do not already have settled between them in back room dealings where the real movers and shakers make their decisions and selections.

While national ballots, such as for president, vice president and big D.C. positions are fully rigged, state and local races are not. And the GMO labelling bill Monsanto, Inc. does not want should be voted for to protect consumers of toxic foods. Congressperson, representative, governor, mayor, school board member, judge, commissioner, and pot/special interest advocate will affect voters disproportionately more than who is pretending to wield power from the Oval Office and "halls of power."

Amys_column_default_640x360_2014There is a database with your name in it ... that is, if you live in one of the 28 states participating in the Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck Program. It’s one of the components of an aggressive drive across the U.S. by Republicans to stop many Americans from voting [thereby ensuring win after win for the minority of U.S. citizens who label themselves Republican or right wing]. Ballot Bandits book
On the eve of the midterm elections, DN! airs a report by investigative journalist Greg Palast -- Puffin Foundation Fellow and author of the New York Times best-seller, Billionaires & Ballot Bandits: How to Steal an Election in 9 Easy Steps -- on how new voter ID laws risk disenfranchising millions, especially black, Hispanic and Asian-American voters. Twenty-seven states are now participating in the Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck Program. Backers say it is needed to prevent voter fraud, but critics say it is being used to stop Democratic-leaning voters from going to the polls. Tens of thousands of names have already been removed, and millions more are threatened. Based on a six-month investigation, Palast’s report originally aired on A-J-America. More+VIDEO
