Catholics protest Dodgers: Sisters of Indulgence

I'm the pervy Nazi Youth pope who got fired, but no one is supposed to know that (Benedict).

Catholic Christians gather to protest Dodgers' "[Gay] Pride Night" event honoring LGBTQ+ "nun" [drag queen] group
(KTLA 5) Friday, 4:00 PM, June 16, 2023. Hundreds of religious protestors staged a procession outside Dodger Stadium Friday night in Los Angeles (near the city's downtown and its world-famous nightspot Hollywood) as the baseball team’s annual Pride Night kicks off in response to the honoring of an LGBTQ+ “nun” group.

After weeks of debate and controversy, The Los Angeles Dodgers will be honoring The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence with a Community Hero Award prior to the Dodgers Game against the San Franciso Giants.

In a flyer advertising the procession, organizers said protestors will “unite in prayerful response to Dodgers’ godless decision to honor blasphemous, Christ-mocking ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.’”

The Sisters are a group of LGBTQ+ “nuns” who focus on philanthropic work while using “humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency, and guilt that chain the human spirit,” according to the group’s website.
