Jesus Christ took mystery cult drugs?

Painting of Jesus and his young Apostles smoking  (Generative AI | Magnific)
Dr. Ammon Hillman found abundant evidence Jesus used drugs to see "God"
The Chemical Muse (Hillman)
Classicist and Christian theologian Dr. Ammon Hillman says the historical Jesus took many entheogenic drugs as part of the mystery cult he formed with his very young apostles. This was in keeping with a long imperial Greek and Roman practice of mystery school initiations, like the famous Eleusinian Mysteries many great Western thinkers like Aristotle participated in for mystic visions, divine knowledge, and esoteric understanding.

So Jesus got high in Gethsemane and other places around ancient Palestine?

The Secret Eleusinian Mystery Cult (School) for drug initiation

.
Cult worship of the Goddess Demeter
The Eleusinian rites, ceremonies, and beliefs, like those of other "mystery schools," were kept secret on pain of death and consistently preserved from antiquity [6].

For the initiated, the rebirth of the Greek Goddess Persephone symbolized the eternity of life that flows from generation to generation, and they believed that they would have a reward in the afterlife [7, 8].

There are many paintings and pieces of pottery that depict various aspects of these Mysteries. Since the Mysteries involved visions and conjuring of an afterlife, some modern scholars believe that the power and longevity of the Eleusinian Mysteries -- a consistent set of rites, ceremonies, and experiences that spanned two millennia -- came from psychedelic/entheogenic drugs [9, 10].

The name of the town, Eleusis, seems to be pre-Greek and is likely a counterpart with Elysium and the Goddess Eileithyia [11].

Drug-induced mysticism
ETYMOLOGY: Eleusinian Mysteries (Greek Ἐλευσίνια Μυστήρια) was the name of the "mysteries" [occult, esoteric knowledges] of the City of Eleusis.

The name of the City Eleusis was established before ancient Greece, likely related to the Goddess Eileithyia [12]. Her name Ἐλυσία ("Elysia") in Laconia and Messene probably relates her with the month Eleusinios and Eleusis [13], but this is debated [14].

The Ancient Greek word from which English "mystery" derives, mystḗrion (μυστήριον), means "mystery or secret rite" [15] and is related to the verb myéō (μυέω), which means "(I) teach, initiate into the mysteries" [16], and the noun mýstēs (μύστης), which means "one initiated" [17].

The word mystikós (μυστικός), source of the English word "mystic," means "connected with the mysteries" or "private," "secret" (as in Modern Greek) [18]. More

Jesus, 'The Psychedelic Christ' (Wm. Henry)

The Psychedelic Christ recovers a forgotten possibility: that early Christianity preserved an [entheogen assisted mystery school] initiatory technology of transformation — centered on the [drug] Son of Man, the light body, and a sacramental [consumption of a] catalyst that was later suppressed, symbolized, or lost.

Drawing on the [official, canonical Christian] Gospels, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Essene mysticism, Egyptian and Greek mystery [school] traditions, and modern neuroscience, William Henry explores the hypothesis that Jesus' teachings about being "born from above" and entering the Kingdom of God were not theological abstractions — but references to an experiential, embodied transformation.
What was once practiced became believed. What was once entered became explained. This book is an invitation to remember.

Why Jesus called himself the Son of Man more than any other title — and what this reveals about human possibility
  • The light body tradition hidden in plain sight across Christianity, Egypt, Tibet, and the mystery [cults] schools
  • How the resurrection was meant to serve as a template for transformation, not merely an object of worship
  • The Essene technology of perfection — and Jesus' possible role as its restorer
  • Why the lost sacrament may be returning at the exact moment humanity faces a new threshold. More

Revealing the Mind: Psychedelics (video)

World Science Festival, Aug. 16, 2019; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven, Ananda, Wisdom Quarterly

Revealing the Mind: The Promise of Psychedelics
Psychedelic Sangha? Dharma Buddhists
(World Science Festival) Nearly every culture throughout history has used substances that alter consciousness for spiritual exploration. In the 20th century these entheogens (substances that reveal the divine within) caught the attention of scientists. Psychedelics (mind or soul manifesting chemicals), as they were named, proved effective at treating intractable illnesses like depression and drug addiction. And they became a tool for studying the mind, opening “the doors of perception,” as Aldous Huxley wrote.

There is much more to life than what we see.
But these doors were slammed shut by President Dick Nixon, who declared psychedelics "dangerous" and "medically useless." Join scientists and “psychonauts” (explorers of the psyche) who are now picking up where research left off 50 years ago, experimenting with LSD, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), DMT, and other psychedelics to heal — and reveal — the mind. The Big Ideas Series is supported in part by the John Templeton Foundation.

Joe Rogan: Santa was a Mushroom (video)

AOK; Joe Rogan Experience; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly Wiki edit

Santa Claus was a Mushroom!

Joe Rogan talks about Christian English archeologist and Dead Sea Scrolls scholar John Marco Allegro and his amazing research. It rocked the Catholic Church because it proved that the Amanita muscaria "fly agaric" mushroom was what Jesus Christ symbolized -- showing the connection to Nordic Siberian Pagan (Swedish Sami) Santa Claus and the many clues to his origin as a symbol of this very special reindeer mushroom. No one would believe it, particularly out of the mouth of whacky Joe Rogan, but the scholarly evidence is all there laid out in Allegro's book, once banned by the Church, now available because the truth will not remain concealed.

The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross: A Study of the Nature and Origins of Christianity Within the Fertility Cults of the Ancient Near East is a book by John M. Allegro (1923-1988) about the linguistics of early Christianity and fertility cults in the ancient Near East (Flint & VanderKam, 2005).

The book follows the development of language and religions, myths, and cult practices in world cultures. Allegro argues, using etymology, that the roots of Christianity and many other religions, are in fertility cults.

Cool, man, I'm a Western cultural icon.
Furthermore, cult practices, such as consuming visionary plants (entheogens, "mind-making" psychedelics) to perceive the "mind of God," persisted into the early Christian era.

This continued into the 13th century with reoccurrences in the 18th century and mid-20th century, as Allegro interprets the fresco at Plaincourault Chapel: It is an accurate depiction of the ritual ingestion of Amanita muscaria magic mushroom as the Eucharist.

Allegro argues that Jesus never existed as a historical figure but was a mythological creation of early Christians under the influence of psychoactive mushroom extracts such as psilocybin (Ibid.) More

Getting STONED in Christianity, Pt. 2 (video)

John Allegro; OMFfacts; Mystic-Skeptic; Dhr. Seven, Pat Macpherson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Oxford scholar proves Jesus was a Mushroom
Historians and theologians have long debated the “real story” of [the SUN god] Jesus. Sure, the Bible says he was the son of God, born to a virgin in the stables of Bethlehem — but that’s just one take on it.

Some believe that Jesus (Joshua, Issa, Y'shua) was a real person and that the stories of his supernatural powers are made up. Others feel that the Jesus we read about is a composite of several historical people.

(The Mushroom and the Cross) Let's read the text for ourselves.

Then there’s John Marco Allegro, an Oxford archeologist and heavyweight biblical scholar with so much evidence in 1970 he published his shocking findings: The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross: A Study of the Nature and Origins of Christianity Within the Fertility Cults of the Ancient Near East.

The Holy Mushroom (Irwin)
The evidence of who/what “Jesus” really is is clear. Allegro takes as a starting point something that’s perplexed other biblical scholars for centuries: When translating the Bible from the original Hebrew, there are some words that seem out of place. Allegro's book was banned by the Vatican. But it got out and is now available to serious scholars and those reevaluating psychedelics. More

The Holy Mushroom: Evidence of Mushrooms in Judeo-Christianity (FREE PDF) by J.R. Irvin is a critical re-evaluation of the schism between John M. Allegro and R. Gordon Wasson over the theory on the entheogenic origins of Christianity presented in The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross.

Who created religion? A plant (video)

What HERB makes a persontelepathic? Western "ayahuasca" -- Syrian rue, which contains the alkaloid telepathine or harmine.

Chris Everard presents a special episode that takes us on a psychedelic mystery tour to investigate the powerful mind-bending sacred plants that inspired the great religions. These ancient plants were traded by the prehistoric druid cultures of Europe. The shamans of Mexico were very familiar with them as well, deriving the essential substance from various plant sources. It exists in many things, even butterfly wings, and the human body saturating the mysterious pineal gland.

Telepathine

Harmine, also known as "telepathine," is a fluorescent harmala alkaloid belonging to the beta-carboline family of compounds. It occurs in a number of different plants, most notably the Middle Eastern plant harmal or Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) and the South American vine Banisteriopsis caapi (ayahuasca, yage, natema).

Harmine reversibly inhibits monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A), an enzyme which breaks down monoamines, making it a RIMA. Harmine selectively binds to MAO-A but does not inhibit the variant MAO-B. More

Whistleblower Seymour Hersh on Obama (video)

Wisdom Quarterly; Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzalez (DemocracyNow.org)
War-loving Commander-in-Chief Obama
Pres. Obama has announced the deployment of more Special Op troops to Syria in a move that nearly doubles the U.S. presence. This is just days after the Obama administration announced more ground troops sent to Iraq.

The U.S. is now fighting a "war" against the CIA's creation, which Russia was ready to reveal and wipe out for what it is, the self-proclaimed Islamic State, ISIL, ISIS crisis, nonsense. As the U.S. spreads in Iraq and Syria, DN! speaks with legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh.

War hawk like a nice-Cheney
He has just published a new book titled The Killing of Osama bin Laden. The intro reads:

"It’s now evident, fifteen years after the 9/11 attacks, that Obama’s foreign policy has maintained many of the core elements of the Global War on Terror initiated by his predecessor [George W. Bush and Dick Cheney] -- [illegal] assassinations, drone attacks, heavy reliance on special forces, covert operations and, in the case of Afghanistan, the continued use of American ground forces in combat. And, as in the years of Bush and Cheney, there has been no progress, let alone victory, in the fight against terrorism." More

Woman having sex with her father rapes some boys, then accuses them of rape, then recants her story
Daddy, can we let these boys join in?
BROOKLYN, New York - The collapse of the case was no surprise after a series of revelations that challenged the woman's initial story that she'd been attacked by a group of boys who drove off her father with a gun to get her alone. Cellphone video snippets had emerged, showing the woman smiling, with her clothes partially removed, during the Jan. 7 encounter.

More disturbingly, the boys told police that when they encountered the woman, she was having sex with her father in the Brooklyn park. "That night, this young woman's father and the five young men engaged in conduct that was reprehensible and wrong," Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson said, "but because of the lack of reliable evidence, criminal charges simply cannot be sustained."

The boys had been charged with rape, criminal sex act, sexual abuse, and other charges. They have said the encounter was consensual and maintained their innocence. Prosecutors will ask a judge next week to formally dismiss the charges against Travis Beckford, Onandi Brown, Denzel Murray, Shaquell Cooper, and Ethan Phillip, who range in age from 14 to 17, a spokesman for Thompson said. Authorities have no plans to charge the woman, who's 18.
