Whether devas fed him deva-sustenance through his pores, as legend suggests was offered to the historical Buddha (MN 36:27), is a matter of metaphysical speculation. However, according to scientists in this documentary, an average person will die of kidney failure after 96 hours of not drinking any fluids. Buddha Boy exhibited none of the classic signs of physical deterioration associated with dehydration.
