Mt. Rushmore's secret penis statues

We're ready for the phallic installations. We'll just look down here for them (flickr.com).
White faces, okay, but what is that Buddhist-style rock cut cave back there? (vrogue.co)
.
Did Skull 'n Bones meet in this rock cut chamber?
Today is the anniversary of the insulting creation of Mt. Rushmore in 1927. What do the Lakota feel?

This Anglo landmark took 14 years to complete and was meant to commemorate the nation "until the end of time."' Fox News remembers: This day in history, Oct. 4, 1927, Mount Rushmore defaces sacred Native American land in South Dakota.

What is Mt. Rushmore? In plain state South Dakota, there are only 1.5 attractions, one being the four faces of some white president of Conquerors who helped lead a slow genocide against the Indigenous populations. Tom Margie on Flickr has a butt shot.

Massive columns are phalluses, some say, with one very obvious one behind and a cabin on top.
.
Was ancient man aware of his penis?
The monument to men their wangs or white domination remains unfinished, having been intended to show full frontal bodies. But one or more penises and a Buddhist temple-like cave carved right into solid rock were included. Why?

It looks like Freemason-style "secret society rituals" for Washington DC elites (Yale Skull 'n Bones, Moose Meetinghouse, Elks Lodge, Illuminati chamber?), who would be the only ones to know it was back there.
Mt. Rushmore's secret stone penises (linga)?
Q: How far underground are the sculptured phalluses, and how does one get to them?

A: The four phalluses [penises, stone Shiv-ling, Thai-Buddhist lingam] are located 200 feet below ground. To get to them, take an elevator journey entitled “The Descent to Glory.” Going down into the rich silence of the “Chiefs’ Chamber” often casts a reverential hush over guests. In the hush, many claim to hear the throbbing heartbeat of our nation [or their own sexually excited ears pounding].
Q: Why did the artist choose to work with rock hard granite?
A. Granite, a type of igneous rock, is extremely slow to erode [slow to lose its erect status], making it an excellent medium for representing the endurance and vitality of, ugh, the, ummm, nation.

So says Daniel Williams at Medium.com. Our resident historian and old timer doubts it. "That can't be true!" he insists. Williams is confabulating. We believe him. (Did this woman Eve see it?) If only there were pictures instead of rumors. No one had a flash? No cameras allowed? No low lux secret phones could be snuck in?
The American Indian experience
The Natives and ancient city builders in what is now the USA had giant pyramid mounds

Battle for Mt. Rushmore: ‘It should be turned into something like the Holocaust Museum’
The national memorial draws millions of visitors a year – and Native Americans want their sacred site back.

Mt. Rushmore national memorial draws nearly 3 million visitors a year to Lakota land in remote South Dakota. They travel from all corners of the globe just to lay their eyes on what the National Park Service calls America’s “shrine of democracy.”

American Indian Phil Two Eagle is not opposed to the fact that the giant sculpture of American presidents is a major tourist attraction, but he thinks the park should have a different focus: oppression. More: The Guardian
Fortunately, US men have never been obsessed
What must the (free-) masons been thinking? The secret history of secret societies in America -- not just the world-famous megaliths of Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, and tombs in the Americas -- but the ritual architecture of the proto-USA is amazing.

Should Trump's penis-haircut be added to MR?
The pyramid mounds of Cahokia, Missouri, near the Mississippi (the second longest river in the country), where many Midwest giants are buried, kurgans (monolithic structures on energetic spots that should have been impossible to erect by Stone Age Native peoples), American Stonehenge in the Northeast, the Stonehenge underwater in a lake, the massive walls that experts try to explain away as the work of newcomers when they are long and pointless as any kind of demarcation of plots, homesteads, or property lines, the massive stone block walls that are aligned as only masons (and not Mother Nature) would bother to do...

There are many mysteries in the country we call our own, only 75% of which has ever been surveyed by foot. (A quarter of the country has never been visited by foot to be mapped or officially surveyed, only scanned from the air, such that anyone can be in there doing anything. Sasquatches raising families? Why not).

Remember to visit the Mt. Rushmore gift shop.
The government is well aware of the giant human skeletons it continues to collect and hide at the Smithsonian institution (a collective of more than a dozen entities, not a single museum with a massive underground warehouse) and the Forest Service is well aware of the cryptids that share the U.S. with humans even if it is only three-quarters surveyed by foot.

Ajanta Buddhist Caves of India (video)

Ajanta: The History and Mystery
Ajanta Caves, Maharashtra state, India - In the midst of breathtaking beauty, surrounded by the magnificence of nature, Buddhist monastics or visitors from space (akasha-loka devas) must have devoted their lives to the Shakyamuni Buddha.

Stupa, columns, high ceilings all cut out of rock
He was their fully awakened teacher, and they spent their lives in quiet meditation and systematic contemplation, making a virtue of simplicity, soon becoming an integral part of the awe-inspiring environment.

It takes but a moment to enter these caves, to close one's eyes and conjure up the aura of all that has gone on here. Listen to the chanting monastics. Watch the murals and sculptures come alive under the magical fingers of gifted artisans. Feel the touch of Nature and brush up against the past.

It took the conviction of generations and efforts of centuries to create these caves. We owe it to unknown artists to study their works with the reverence they deserve.

Who, what, where, when, why?

(Wiki) The Ajanta Caves are approximately 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments that are thought to date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra state of India.

The caves include exquisite paintings and rock-cut sculptures that are among the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art, particularly expressive paintings that present emotion through gesture, pose, and form.

According to UNESCO the masterpieces of this world heritage site are Buddhist religious art that influenced the Indian art that followed.

The caves were built in two phases, the first phase starting around the 2nd century BCE, second phase around 400–650 CE, according to older accounts, or in a brief period of 460–480 CE. More

That looks nothing like the Buddha!
(Aliens Latest) Ancient Egypt in the Grand Canyon Is there in the Grand Canyon an enigmatic system of tunnels, evidence of an Ancient Egyptian voyage to America?

On April 5, 1909, a front page story in the Arizona Gazette [Phoenix Gazette reprint?] reported on an archaeological expedition into the heart of the Grand Canyon funded by the Smithsonian Institute, which resulted in the discovery of Egyptian and Asian artifacts. Could the mainstream article be true? The original story goes that the team found an underground network of tunnels high above the Colorado River containing various ancient artifacts, Buddha statues, and mummies. The 1909 article concludes:

"Some interesting archaeological discoveries were unearthed and altogether the trip was of such interest that he will repeat it next winter in the company of friends." Less than a month later, the same newspaper seemed to follow up the story where they had left off: Kinkaid was now talking about his “interesting archaeological discoveries” that consisted of a series of tunnels and passages with a cross chamber near the entrance containing a statue: "The idol almost resembles [the] Buddha, though the scientists are not certain as to what religious worship it represents." Grand Canyon Egyptians: The Story Unfolds
Terry Carter and companions took a trip to Lake Powell, Utah, to research more about the Grand Canyon Egyptians. There is more to the story and were finding out what it is.
Ancient Egyptians were in Utah: Tribal elders share their oral history.

(Jan. 30, 2018) We rediscover forbidden and forgotten history of the ancient Egyptians traveling to the Uinta Mountains in Utah to mine gold. Ron Sweat shares what the tribal elders told his father, which he was told about again by some of his old Native American friends.

"The idol almost resembles [the] Buddha, though the scientists are not certain as to what religious worship it represents. Taking into consideration everything found thus far, it is possible that this worship most resembles the ancient [Buddhist] people of Tibet."

He also stated that he had found an unknown gray metal, resembling platinum, as well as tiny carved heads, scattered on the floor. Urns bore "mysterious hieroglyphics, the key to which the Smithsonian Institute hopes yet to discover." In another room he found mummies: "Some of the mummies are covered with clay, and all are wrapped in a bark fabric."

Phoenix Gazette, 1909
Again, the account is quite factual. Idols “resemble” the Buddha, rather than “are” the Buddha. The worship “resembles” that of Tibet, not “is”… Kinkaid is trying to use analogies to explain his discovery.

It is the anonymous author of the article who makes the connection with ancient Egypt and lets his mind float to one of the biggest discoveries of all time.

Still, the newspaper apparently never followed up the story. Though the Smithsonian involvement is therefore either proof of a cover-up (as some have claimed)... More

Official wants changes to US protected lands

.
BILLINGS, Montana - U.S. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke announced last Thursday he won't seek to rescind any national monuments carved from the wilderness and oceans by past presidents.

BUT he said he will press for some boundary changes and left open the possibility of allowing drilling, mining, or other [extraction, depletion, and exploitation] industries on the sites.

(August 25, 2017) Twenty-seven monuments were put under review in April by Pres. Trump, who has charged that the millions of acres designated for protection by former Pres. Obama were part of a "massive federal land grab."

If Trump adopts Zinke's recommendations, it could ease some of the worst fears of the president's opponents, who warned that vast public lands and marine areas could be stripped of federal protection.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Zinke said he is recommending changes to a "handful" of sites, including unspecified boundary adjustments, and he suggested some monuments are too large. He would not reveal his recommendations for specific sites but previously said Utah's Bears Ears National Monument needs to be reduced in size.

The White House said only that it received Zinke's recommendations and is reviewing them.

Conservationists and tribal leaders responded with alarm and distrust, demanding the full release of Zinke's recommendations and vowing to challenge attempts to shrink any monuments.

Gene Karpinski, president of the League of Conservation Voters, called Zinke's review a pretext for "selling out our public lands and waters" to the oil industry and others. More
