Interviewed by Pastor Randy Phillips. Produced and edited by T&H Inspiration (Mindset App: link.mindsetapp.com/THMotivationInstagram, Facebook, PodcastYouTube). #Afterlife #Goosebumps #T&HInspiration

ABOUT: T&H Inspiration is on a mission to share inspiring wisdom. The goal is to have one pause, think, and reflect. Many of these videos revolve around the extraordinary teachings of Alan Watts produced with permission from the Alan Watts Electronic University. T&H also films and releases original interviews with iconic people who have experienced successes, while also persevering through life's highs and lows. T&H looks forward to sharing more of these perspectives and insights. Its hope with these videos is to push thinking. As Alan Watts said, “No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time: He is like a steel bridge without flexibility, and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.”

Neurosurgeon goes spiritual after death

Dr. Alexander, MD (ebenalexander.com); Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Commencement Address 2020
(May 2020) To the class of 2020, congratulations on graduating during the worst healthcare challenge our world has faced in over a century, one that has fully disrupted our lives and ordered the whole world to “stay home” for months on end. “Congratulations?” you might ask. No doubt the pandemic and associated economic shutdown have thrown… More

Consciousness: One Giant Leap for Humankind
(July 20, 2019) Cherish the world’s reliving of the Apollo 11 moon landing a half century ago, and reflect on how such ventures tend to unify us, to fire our imaginations, and to engender the best future we can envision. More

Healing: Effective Treatment for Mental Health
(May 28, 2019) As many of my fellow physicians are discovering, any true physical, mental, and emotional health depends fundamentally on spiritual health. Spiritual, in this sense, is not necessarily religious but simply an admission of the connectedness we all share (with other sentient life and with the universe at large), as well as a sense of meaning and purpose of our existence. Consciousness, Science-Research: 10th Anniversary of Awakening
“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence. To understand the true nature of the universe, one must think it terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” — Nikola Tesla (1856–1943) November 16, 2018 marks the… More

Independent Medical Review Validates Facts
(Sept. 27, 2018) In the decade since my near-death experience (NDE) during a week-long coma in Nov. 2008, I have been through many ups and downs in sharing my experience with the world. The low point involved a published account of false and misleading statements. The details of my medical condition were called into question as perhaps... More

Suicide Epidemic Relates to Spiritual Vacuum
(Aug. 8, 2018) Earlier this summer the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published an article about the alarming 28% rise in suicide deaths in the United States between 1999 and 2016. The issue was recently punctuated with the celebrity suicides of Kate Spade (June 5) and Anthony Bourdain (June 8), leaving many to wonder how such… More

Is There Proof of a Spiritual Universe?
(May 29, 2018) The first book about my NDE, Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife (2012), hit a resounding chord with readers around the world, and yet I felt that the title prevented some in the scientific community from reading the book. Those who have read it realize that it is a commentary on the… More

Consciousness, Science-Research: Rethinking Reality
“The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.” — Werner Heisenberg (1901–1976), Nobel Prize in Physics 1932. In the ongoing discussion concerning the nature and meaning of near-death experiences, one quickly comes to realize… More

Kavya Shivashankar from Olathe, Kansas is presented the winner's trophy at the 2009 National Spelling Bee on 5/28/09 after spelling "Laodicean" (Reuters/Jim Young).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – It's safe to say the best is yet to come for the new national spelling champion. She's only just become a teenager. She'll probably keep her competitive juices flowing by entering the International Brain Bee, the perfect contest for an aspiring neurosurgeon. More>>
