Amber Heard LOSING to Johnny Depp (song)

Hilarious: Johnny Depp performs Metallica's song in court
(Megan Fox, April 29, 2022) We don't want to miss this version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" performed by Johnny Depp. Will there be a copyright strike?
Oddball Johnny Depp and narcissist Amber Heard in "Depp v. Heard," defamation trial like a sequel to "Pirates of the Caribbean."

Celebrities react to Johnny Depp beating winning over Amber Heard in court
(Film Streak, 9/30/21) Film Streak showcases what celebrities think of the fact that Johnny Depp recently won in court against Amber Heard. They are truly happy about it.

Shoulda listened! But she's so pretty
WQ has been avoiding the Johnny Depp Amber Heard Circus because Depp speaks too slowly and Heard is too pretty. (Well, actually, it's more that she dated Elon Musk for a year after Johnny, and that hits a little too close to home). It's all over YouTube and the news, like the OJ trial used to be when Kevin & Bean (KROQ FM) would get Willie the Scottish maintenance man on The Simpsons (voiced by comedian Ralph Garmen, now an afterthought to The Kevin & Sluggo Show on KLOS FM) to read the transcripts for flare and to make the boring details bearable. So add Metallica -- and Amber losing -- and it becomes a "man bites dog" story. Suddenly, we're interested. Just barely. What are the Kardashians up to? Kanye missed Coachella. Stagecoach banned racist flags. So much is going on. It's about the 47th anniversary since the end of the US War on Vietnam. (Today's the anniversary of Black April).

Angelina Jolie speaks out on Johnny Depp's WARNING about dating Amber Heard

(Celebrity Flash, March 9, 2022) Angelina Jolie, the famous ex-wife of actor Brad Pitt, speaks out in favor of Johnny "Scissor Hands" Depp.

Top 5 Facts: 1992 LA Uprising
(WatchMojo.com, June 20, 2016) Often referred to as the Los Angeles Uprising, the LA riots of 1992 represented a brief hiatus from business as usual, civility, and the iron rule of law. Welcome to WatchMojo's Top 5 Facts. Today's installment provides five insightful facts about a famous historic event: The LA Riots of April 29, 1992.
These are the four police-criminals who started it all by beating a Black man nearly to death

Uprising: Hip Hop & The LA Riots
(SXSW, March 9, 2012) Twenty years after an uprising and riots ripped through the great City of Los Angeles, Uprising documents how hip hop forecasted -- and some say may have even ignited -- the worst civil unrest of the 20th century.

Rodney King asks if we can all just get along
This film revisits the rebellion in gripping detail and draws from a diverse collection of voices -- the rebels, rappers, looters, rioters, victims, crooked police officers, implicitly biased journalists, and everyday citizens of South Central LA.

This documentary traces the rise of dissent in Los Angeles in the 1980's and 90's and explores why citizens chose to finally rise up violently against police abuse and perceived injustices.

ABOUT: LA 92 comes 25 years after the Los Angeles Uprising, sparked by racist LAPD cops beating Black motorist Rodney King then being let off in a show trial. The city showed its disapproval with several days of protests, looting, destruction, attacks, and a disruption of the police chief's idea of "law and order." LA 92 immerses viewers in that tumultuous period through stunning and rarely seen archival footage. The film chronicles the events of 1992 from a multitude of vantage points, bringing a fresh perspective to a pivotal moment that reverberates to this day.

Life of Hitler, a brief bio

Past Chronicles; Eric Dubay; Pfc. Sandoval, Sheldon S., Seth Auberon (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly

Hitler Bad, Vandals Good (punk rock band album)
Rising to power as the leader of his National Socialist (Nazi) Party in the 1920s, Adolf Hitler became the main architect of the second world war.

Policies that were anti-Semitic led to the deaths of thousands of Jews living in Nazi-controlled German areas during WW II. Although an exact figure of how many Jews Hitler’s reign systematically killed [accidentally by disease and malnourishment in concentration camps following the example of America and its California Mission system of concentration and ethnic cleansing or intentionally for vivisection, experimentation, and labor exploitation], some historians push the estimate up to approximately 6 million.
  • [This exaggerated number seems impossible as there were not that many Jews in Germany or the areas the Nazi over which they took control. They are not named or cataloged, even though German accountants kept track of minute details of their projects. It was likely not an extermination of people campaign but of lice and other vermin, for which the "gas" (the brand name pesticide Zyklon B) was used as a pesticide and insecticide, for the purpose of delousing, but this is forbidden to say, verboten, because it goes counter to the narrative we are all fed in the West, particularly in the USA. The doors to the "gas chambers" did not lock from the outside, a small but telling detail as to their true purpose; a jail is not built that prisoners can simply open by pushing. To say so, or dare to question mainstream "history," is to risk accusations of holocaust denial. Only Eric Dubay (Adolf Hitler vs. The {expletive} World Order by Eric Dubay on bitchute.com) seems to consider these possibilities publicly, though many may question what we are taught de rigueur in private].
Early Life of Adolf Hitler
A tough childhood and daddy issues
Born in Austria (not Germany) on on "4-20" or April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was the fourth of six children. His parents were Alois Hitler and Klara Hitler. His relationship with his father was a difficult one [which is an understatement, Dads].

Hitler refused to follow a similar career as his father’s. Adolf wanted to become an artist, whereas his father was a customs officer. However, twice he failed to get admission to the General School of Painting at the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts [due to less than inspired art, leading some to ponder how much less bad the world would be for one more dull artist rather than a genius dictator].
  • Wait, our biased teachers lied to us?
[We are not historians, and we do not have an agenda, but we are open and willing to question and hear counternarratives that oppose the lies our teachers told us in public school, like those about Columbus. Whether or not he was a racist fascist, which Hitler seems to have been, judging by the only things we're taught about him, he nevertheless seems to have been a dictator and nationalist.]
  • [Nazi Propaganda Minister appropriated elements of Indian Buddhism and repurposed them to mythologize Nazi leader Hitler, such as the swastika (which Hitler inverted and tilted and turned into a corporate symbol and brand), Aryans (which turned "noble" or enlightened into white supremacist) and the concept of the Übemensch or "over man" as one who has attained spiritual liberation and gnosis, the "world monarch" or chakravartin, vegetarian diet or never being seen eating in public as if one fasts or is not an ordinary human being but a "superman," and perhaps most harmfully turning the expression "final solution" into a plan for expelling Jews from Germany, as so many other countries had done down through history.]
  • He's pure evil. Look at his eyes!
  • [They say, “The winner’s write history.” It is absolutely true; the most egregious example in modern times has to be the mainstream (mis)understanding of Adolf Hitler and pre-WWII Germany. Hitler was actually a vegetarian {This is very doubtful, arising from the fact that Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels tried to shroud Hitler in a veil of superhuman mystery, following the occult example of a chakravartin or "world monarch," a popular figure in Dharmic religions like Buddhism.}, animal-lover, author, and artist, a political activist, economic reformer, and Nobel Peace Prize nominee. He enacted the world’s first anti-animal cruelty, anti-pollution, and anti-smoking laws. Unlike the demonic portrait the history written by the winners has painted of him, Hitler was beloved by his people, and he wanted peace. {It seems, however, he also wanted to rule the world, as do most leaders.} From 1933-1940 Hitler tried repeatedly to make peace with the Jews and “Allied” Forces, even calling for complete disarmament on everyone’s part. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1939, the year he was attacked on his own soil after repeatedly pleading for peaceful solutions. In 1936, 99% of Germany's registered voters went out to vote, and 98.8% voted for Hitler. The Jewish influenced/controlled media has painted a picture of pure evil ever since. This Jew or New World Order has even enacted laws in 18 European countries prohibiting free speech regarding the issues of Judaism and the Holocaust and Israel's national war against Palestinians, explains Dubay.]
Politics of Adolf Hitler
During WWI, he enlisted into the Bavarian part of the German Army. There, one of his roles was that of a trench runner. He was, according to himself, one of the only 42 survivors out of a company of 250 strong men. He also received the Iron Cross twice for his bravery.

Hitler’s emergence on the political scene began in 1919 in Munich. He joined as a speaker for the German Workers Party. In just two years, he officially became the chairman of the NSDAP in July 1921. The party was also referred to as Hitler’s Nazi Party.

Hitler’s first attempt to grasp power was when he -- with 2,000 of his brown shirt Nazi supporters -- tried to seize power in Munich in November 1923. The coup, however, failed. Hitler was charged with treason upon his arrest.

The political establishment of Munich did not want to give rise to rumors of being accomplices in the coup, so they kept the matter quiet. The trial ended in disappointment for those who were hoping to put an end to Hitler’s political career. They released Hitler from prison just after nine months of his five-year sentence. However, he was no longer allowed to make public speeches.

This did not stop him from using his extraordinary orating skills in private gatherings. His speeches gave his followers a vision of "a new Germany." The Nazi Party gradually transformed from a small Workers Party to the largest elected party in the country’s parliament. More

LA Uprising RIOTS 30 years ago (video)

(John Garside, 9/26/19) Los Angeles had an uprising in 1992 that most call "riots." Why? If it bleeds, it leads. Lots of things had been boiling in a pressure pot, and the racist verdict following the illegal LAPD beating of Black motorist Rodney King blew it up. When there is no escape valve for the pressure, expect and explosion. Such an uprising is the voice of the voiceless.

Arab American Heritage Month: Being White

CNN's Race Deconstructed newsletter (via msn.com), analysis by Mirna Alsharif and Brandon Tensley, CNN.com, 4/28/22; Crystal Quintero, CC Liu (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

.
Arab American Heritage Month: "Being counted as white doesn't reflect our day-to-day experiences"
What does it mean to be "white"? Social construct
"You ask 10 different people what it means to be Arab, and you could get 10 different answers."

That's how 31-year-old Danny Hajjar, who's Lebanese American and grew up in Boston, describes the diversity and richness of Arab and Arab American identities.

I'm actually a Black African.
"People from Lebanon, for example, have a different idea of what it means to be Arab compared with people from Morocco," he told CNN. Hajjar now lives in Washington DC. But with that complexity can come frustration, especially in a country such as the US.

Because of slavery and the system of racial caste that it created, US society tends to view race and ethnicity through the limited categories of Black and White. "I always tick 'other' and then write in Middle Eastern, Lebanese or Arab," Hajjar said.

We're white, right, Honey? - The whitest!
"I remember, distinctly, when I was applying to high school -- I went to a private high school -- I ticked 'other' and the admissions person asked me what I was, and when I told them, they changed it to White. I still can't believe that happened. That was really something."

Put a little bit differently, while the treatment of identity in the US is robust and rigorous in some ways, it's impoverished in others. And there are consequences. More

Local Organic Farm Tour | Midwest Plant-Based Vegan Lifestyle
Jerry and Renee Cornett of Lakehouse Farm and Prairie Plate Restaurant are doing it right! This couple quickly became one of the favorite vendors at the local Sunday Farmers' Market in Lincoln, Nebraska, thanks to their delicious home-grown produce.

Mother Mercy: Compassion for all animals!
The Cornett's own and run their own USDA-certified organic farm and restaurant just outside of town, where everything that hits the plate is fresh, seasonal, and organic.

Dusty and Erin were lucky enough to get a private tour of Lakehouse Farm, and even got their very own vegan, farm-to-table meal prepared on-site by Renee of Prairie Plate Restaurant.

Learning more about the growing and harvesting process makes them truly appreciate the farmers' market experience and the effort these passionate individuals put into their work.

Supporting local, eating seasonal, and getting the cleanest and best-tasting plant-based foods around is always worth any extra cost. [It doesn't get the government subsidies slaughtering meat gets.]

Here's hoping this video encourages others to find their own local farmers' market or co-op. Get to know local growers, and enjoy the best foods year round. Thank a vegan farmer today!

Magic Mushrooms as psilocybin therapy

PsyPost via MSN.com, April  28, 2022; Pat Macpherson, CC Liu (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

People who hear about psilocybin-assisted therapy think it’s important to have a guide who has used psilocybin
People with depressive symptoms appear to think it is relatively important that guides [auditors, sitters, minders, undosed helpers] for psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy have personally used the psychedelic substance themselves, according to a new study published in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs.

Psilocybin, when combined with psychotherapy in a controlled setting, has shown promise in the treatment of various mental health issues, including [treatment-resistant clinical] depression.

One aspect of the therapy that has received relatively little attention is the use of "guides," trained professionals who facilitate the psychedelic experience.

It’s possible that having a guide who had previously used psilocybin could raise concerns among clients.

For example, a previous study found that researchers who admit to personally using psychedelic substances tend to be viewed as having less integrity. But it is also possible that clients would value having a guide who has also experienced what they’re experiencing during a psychedelic session.

Professor of Psychology Mitch Earleywine, from the University at Albany, told PsyPost he was partially inspired to conduct the new research based on his own personal experience:

The "magic" of nature is healing humans.
“It’s kind of a funny story, but I sent a client to the local ketamine clinic, which has a very friendly physician in charge. She asked if I thought he’d ever used ketamine, and I had to admit that I did not think so. She seemed a little disappointed. Then I heard that some of the psychedelic guides are encouraged to have a psychedelic experience before they ever sit for someone else.” More
