LA Uprising RIOTS 30 years ago (video)

(John Garside, 9/26/19) Los Angeles had an uprising in 1992 that most call "riots." Why? If it bleeds, it leads. Lots of things had been boiling in a pressure pot, and the racist verdict following the illegal LAPD beating of Black motorist Rodney King blew it up. When there is no escape valve for the pressure, expect and explosion. Such an uprising is the voice of the voiceless.
