A brain tumor known as a [primary] glioblastoma was removed from Republican Sen. McCain along with a blood clot above his eye in a surgery at the Mayo Clinic on Friday, a spokesperson said today.
McCain’s office had only previously announced that the blood clot had been removed from above the 80-year-old’s left eye, leaving out mention of the cancerous tumor.
The Mayo Clinic said in a statement released by McCain’s office: “The senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of [deadly iatrogenic] chemotherapy and radiation [to quickly put him out of his misery]. More
