Even as she advocates for gun control measures, Kamala used the comments to signal not only that she won't support confiscating guns, but that she has a personal stake in the Second Amendment [and so is inclined to preserve her right to own and use her little metallic friend Shooty].

(Sky News Australia) Aug. 26, 2024: Social media users are reacting to a new Trump campaign ad that features Harris "debating" herself, not doing well, and losing to Kamala, using her past comments on the economy under her and Biden's leadership.

"New Trump ad shows Kamala Harris "debating" herself with her previous comments on the economy under her leadership with Biden," user @CollinRugg wrote on X. It comes as former US president Donald Trump is threatening to withdraw from a scheduled presidential debate against Kamala Harris.

The two campaigns are at odds on certain rules, including whether or not the microphone should be muted when a candidate is not speaking. VP Harris’ team believes the microphones should be on at ALL times (to hear what DJ is mumbling as he's grumbling and interrupting), while the former president wants the rules that were previously agreed on (because he can't control himself and keep quiet and this gives him a way to vent without paying the price for it).

A spokesperson for the Harris campaign said in a post to X: “Trump should honor his commitment to debate VP Harris on ABC on September 10, and he should reject his handlers’ attempts to muzzle him via a muted microphone.

“The VP is ready to debate Trump live and uncensored. Trump should stop hiding behind the mute button.”

Democracy needs third (and fourth and more) parties, not fewer. They influence the major party, with its two wings that are often interchangeable and playing a PR game to seem extremely different. The differences are symbolic and often superficial. Nothing changes. The country runs on a war economy, and a person says, "I'm the peace candidate," but it isn't true.

Such a person, when elected, backs war as required by the "Deep State," Pentagon, CIA (NSA, NSC, DHS, FBI, IRS, and the rest of the surveillance state's alphabet).

I have to tell it like it is: Kamala is fake.

The successful lifelong politicians learn this early and "go along to get along" and before long, they are champions of the system doing more than going along. RFK Jr. is a Kennedy, and as such he seems to believe in democracy a little more than the party does. They have turned against him. He sees two evil sides and has chosen to back the lesser of the two evils. It was a great speech, explaining what's wrong with shiny, beautiful, empty shell Kamala. Throughout the year, Yosemite National Park has several special events such as Junior Ranger Day, Earth Day (both in April), Apple Picking Day (mid August), and Yosemite Facelift (late September), where volunteers can just show up, no application needed.

These events are listed on this website (Drop-in Volunteering and Special Events, Yosemite National Park, U.S. National Park Service, nps.gov) when the dates are known for each year.

Before long, the snow comes and closes roads.

For all special events and drop-in days, the park asks participants to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, appropriate gear for the weather, and to bring sun protection, water, and snacks.
