Mexican: the sticky issue of RACE (video)

Masaman; Tania Lucely; Crystal Quintero, Pat Macpherson, CC Liu (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

If "Mexican" isn't a race [La Raza], then what race are Mexicans, Mestizos, Hispanics, Creoles, and Latinos?
Masaman
If "Mexican" isn't a race, then what race are Mexicans? Let's discuss the racial makeup and racial categorization of Latinos and Hispanics in the United States and Latin America along with the Native American and migration history of the region.

Tania
The situation of race and ethnicity in Latin America is extremely confusing for both outside observers and those living there, due in large part to Spain's Eurocentric classification system.

(Tania Lucely) I'm what? Mexican/Krypton DNA results, June 8, 2017

Let's attempt to shed some light on the situation. By studying the region for a long time, even without acknowledged expertise in a field, one can figure a few things out by speaking to my many Mexican friends and reading widely on the subject. What are your thoughts on Latinos and Latin America?

American Caste System
Spanish Colonial System of racial hierarchy*
According to the Casta [American Caste] System, a Creole (criollo) could have up to 1/8 (one great-grandparent or equivalent) Amerindian ancestry without losing social place (see the "Blood Cleansing" or Limpieza de sangre).** In the 18th and early 19th centuries, changes in the Spanish Empire's policies towards its colonies led to tensions between Criollos and Iberian-born Peninsulares (Mike Duncan, Revolutions Podcast, June 12, 2016). The growth of local Criollo political and economic strength in their separate colonies coupled with their global geographic distribution led them to each evolve a separate (both from each other and Spain) organic national personality and viewpoint. Criollos were the main supporters of the Spanish American wars of independence.

  • *The pyramid chart shows that European Spanish invaders, who were white, put themselves on top even above pure Spaniards born in Mexico. But the second group is not Indian-Spanish (red-white) Mestizos ("mixtures"), as one would expect if reds were the natives. It is black-white (negro-Euro) Black-Spanish Creoles, suggesting that they were the ruling natives as from Olmec or Moorish times. But Creole (Criollo) may mean something else.

Redheads, pyramids, Brazil’s mysterious past

Leonard Farra (blog.world-mysteries.com); Pat Macpherson (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly
Map of Brazil

Brazil, the largest country in South America, borders all South American countries, other than Chile and Ecuador, and it’s the largest Portuguese-speaking country in the world.
  • [Portugal, which is next to Spain on Europe's Iberian Peninsula, is just across the Atlantic Ocean, not far according to some maps.]
It has a huge tropical forest in its Amazon Basin, which is home to a diverse wildlife population.

When Europeans arrived in Central America and Peru, they encountered advanced civilizations.

But in Brazil they only saw native people living close to nature. In recent years, however, researchers have found that this huge country had a fascinating past.

The Amazon jungle is very dense but, in cleared areas, on the border with northern Bolivia, there are traces of a lost civilization.

Amazon_forest

Only part of it has so far been uncovered, but its population has been estimated at 60,000. In this region there were structures formed by a network of trenches, about 36 feet wide and several feet deep, lined by low banks.

Some were surrounded by low mounds that contained ceramics and stone tools. More than 200 geometric structures have so far been discovered and some date back 1,700 years. The geometric shapes are in the form of huge circles and squares.

In the upper Xingu region of southern Brazil, a community of thousands of people previously lived in large villages in a well organized grid-like pattern linked by a network of roads.

The villages were enclosed in huge ditches, and there were bridges and moats in wetland areas. According to Professor Homet:

"...there is a whole chain of burial urns which reaches from the Mediterranean via Brazil and Argentina, these ceramic coffins are often decorated with human faces and are therefore called portrait burial urns" (1).

Prof. Homet concludes that:

"When one considers the chain of places where they are found and which connects the continents we are obliged to [conclude] that this custom could only have been spread by a single civilization" (1).

On the coastal island of Santa Caterina, in the Brazilian province of the same name, there are rock drawings consisting of double ring concentric circles, wavy lines, and diamond shapes all of which appeared in Stone Age art on the other side of the Atlantic.

brazilian_stonehenge
Brazilian archaeologists have found a well-defined ancient stone structure on a hill top in the Amazon. This amazing discovery is located in the state of Amapá in the northern reaches of the Brazilian Amazon. Could primitive Indians living in the jungles of the Amazon have constructed it? Source

There were stone circles in many parts of the world with the highest concentration in the British Isles. Some have been found in North America, Peru, and on Easter Island. Many early sites were aligned to the solstices, where religious rituals appear to have been enacted.

stonehenge (1)
Stonehenge is Europe's most famous megalithic structure, Avesbury, England

For example, Stonehenge, England’s 5,000-year-old circle, is aligned to the summer and winter solstices. On a hilltop in the Brazilian state of Amapa, there’s a stone circle made up of 127 rough stones, which is aligned to the winter solstice. It is believed to be at least 2,000 years old.

Dolmens are huge blocks of rock usually supported by three or more upright stones. They have also been found in many parts of the world including in New England in North America.

Prof. Homet says that the ones that he saw in Brazil are comparable to the thousands in Algeria (2).

The red headed white Indians
brazilian indians

Various travelers through Brazil’s jungle areas have reported sightings of red haired white Indians.

Harold T. Wilkins, who is renowned for his research on South America, reported that in 1929 the American traveler Lawrence Griswold was captured by Shuar Indians. They took him up the Rio Juara.

The hunting party arrived at the ruins of an ancient city, which [he was told] were built by tall, "red-haired" people who were changed into his tribe "because of their wicked behavior before the Flood" (3).

There are also traces of red-haired whites in Peru. Others of this description were also living in other parts of the world. Tall, white red-heads formed part of the pre-Spanish Guanches population in the Canary Islands who claimed to be survivors of the Flood.

Various early legends say that people of this description were involved in a violent conflict in the antediluvian (pre-deluge) era. This is also suggested in a famous, misinterpreted, allegorical Ancient Egyptian legend (4).

The Guarani Indians in Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay claim that their ancestors came from a distant country and that they crossed an ocean before they arrived in their present lands.

There were hundreds of allegorical flood legends around the world, including among Native Americans. A typical one, which is popular among the Native Brazilians, tells of a great flood in which only two brothers and their wives survived.

There is evidence to suggest that the Great Flood happened 5,000 years ago, when there was climate change and substantial flooding in different parts of the world.

In that era several civilizations arose "fully developed," and indications are that this was the rebirth of civilization after the destruction of the previous age.

Along Brazil’s southern coast, mainly in the state of Catarina, archaeologists have discovered as many as 1,000 square pyramids built from sea shells. The earliest ones date back to the critical era around 5,000 years ago.

In some of these pyramid mounds, there were human burials and amazing grave goods including shell breast plates depicting various animals and birds. Nobody knows who these people were or where they came from.

The Sumerian scribes said that the Annunaki caused the Flood because of the bad behavior of humans.

Many early world legends were based on the story of the Annunaki leaders. Adapted to local culture, this trend has continued in many parts of the world right through to present times (5) including among the Guarani of Brazil.

Did the Guarani adopt it from an earlier people? And could it be that this widespread legend, these stone circles, dolmens, and the red-haired white race on both sides of the Atlantic are evidence of early contact between the Old and New Worlds as many alternative scholars believe?

The Buddha was a Scythian / Shakyian (video)

British Museum; Bettany Hughes (twitter); Dhr. Seven, Amber Larson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Buddhism took off in the Buddha's home, Scythia, a few years after launching in Varanasi

Scythians: the alternative lifestyle of antiquity
The Scythians wandered from Siberia in the north throughout Central Asia.

Curator St John Simpson explains how the nomadic Scythians [what the Greeks called the Sakas, Shakyas, Shakyians of Central Asia whose territories extended from the northwest frontier of India up into the Ukraine and Siberia of North Asia] may not have lived in permanent cities, but they still had the skill and desire to live the good life.

The exhibition Scythians: Warriors of Ancient Siberia runs from September 14, 2017 through January 14, 2018 (#Scythians) with support from the capitalist corporation BP.
Scythians: nomads of Central and North Asia
More than 2,500 years ago, groups of formidable [male and female] "warriors" [Sanskrit kshatriyas] roamed the vast open plains of Siberia. Feared, loathed, admired -- but over time forgotten… Until now.

This major exhibition explores the story of the Scythians -- nomadic tribes and masters of horse-mounted warfare, who flourished between 900 and 200 BC.

Warrior Queen Tomyris was also a Scythian
Their encounters with the Greeks, Assyrians, and Persians were written into history but for centuries all trace of their culture was lost -- buried beneath the ice.

Shakyamuni, the "Sage of the Scythian (Shakyian) Clan, the historical Buddha (born Warrior Prince Siddhartha Gautama) was was not born in Nepal.

He was born and raised in Ancient Scythia, Central Asia, in and around modern Bamiyan, Mes Aynak, and Kabul (Ancient Kapilavastu), Afghanistan. See details at RanajitPal.com.

Siberia is part of Scythian Central Asia
Wiki edited by Wisdom Quarterly
.
The borders of Central Asia are subject to at least three definitions, with Siberia included in the common one.

The idea of Central Asia as a distinct region of the world was only introduced in 1843 by the geographer Alexander von Humboldt.

Historically, political geography and geoculture are two significant borders widely used in the scholarly literature about the definitions of the Central Asia (Mehmet Akif Okur, "Classical Texts Of the Geopolitics and the "Heart Of Eurasia", Journal of Turkish World Studies, XIV/2, pp.74-75).

The most limited definition was the official one of the Soviet Union (USSR), which defined Middle Asia as consisting solely of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

However, the Russian culture has two distinct terms, Средняя Азия (Srednyaya Aziya or "Middle Asia," the narrower definition, which includes only those traditionally non-Slavic, Central Asian lands that were incorporated within those borders of historical Russia) and Центральная Азия (Tsentralnaya Aziya or "Central Asia," the wider definition, which includes Central Asian lands that have never been part of historical Russia).

Soon after independence, the leaders of the four former Soviet Central Asian Republics met in Tashkent and declared that the definition of Central Asia should include Kazakhstan as well as the original four included by the Soviets. Since then, this has become the most common definition of Central Asia.

The UNESCO general history of Central Asia, written just before the collapse of the USSR, defines the region based on climate and uses far larger borders. According to it, Central Asia includes Mongolia, Tibet, northeast Iran (Golestan, North Khorasan, and Razavi provinces), central-east Russia south of the Taiga, large parts of China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the former Central Asian Soviet republics (the five "Stans" of the former Soviet Union).

An alternative method is to define the region based on ethnicity, and in particular, areas populated by Eastern Turkic, Eastern Iranian, or Mongolian peoples. These areas include Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, the Turkic regions of southern Siberia, the five republics, and Afghan Turkestan. Afghanistan as a whole, the northern and western areas of Pakistan and the Kashmir Valley of India may also be included. The Tibetans and Ladakhi Buddhists are also included. Insofar, most of the mentioned peoples are considered the "indigenous" peoples of the vast region. More

Scythians 1: History, Geography, Romanticism
The Shakyas (Sakas, Scythians) spoke in praise of the deity: Sakka King of the Devas (indo devanam) Indra, who became a disciple of the Buddha when a teaching brought him to the first stage of enlightenment which is accompanied by unwavering faith or confidence in the Dharma and the Buddha' enlightenment.

(WQ) It is interesting to note what so often goes unclarified in Buddhism. Though Prince Siddhartha's surname was Gautama, like his father King Sudhodana, their clan (extended family) name was Saka, Sakya, Shakya, Shakyian, or Scythian. His most famous epithet is "The Enlightened or Awakened One," which is the meaning of buddha. He is also called Shakyamuni, "Sage (muni) of the Shakya Clan," meaning a wandering ascetic from Scythia (Shakya Land), far from the Kingdom of Magadha (later a state in united India, which seems to have taken its name from Inda/Indo/Indra = Saka, Sakka, Sakra, when various kingdom and republics were united by the Buddhist Emperor Asoka into a coherent larger country or janapada, "foothold (territory) of a people or clan."

COMMENTS
(Arys Atilov) How do you bra[zen]ly call them "Iranian-speaking"? The Scythian language is still unknown, except for text on their cup in the Issyk kurgan in Kazakhstan, which is most likely similar to the Ancient Turkic language.

(Darafsh_Kaviani) Scythians=Ancient Eastern Iranian people.

(Onur Gürleyen) Scythians are Turkic.

(Yeezytaughtme) My family and I originate from the Altai region, where Scythians lived (Saka people) [Shakyians, Sakkas]. I'm Kazakh. When they found the "Ice Princess" [Siberian Ice Maiden] in Altai, she was buried along with her horse and sheep meat and horse meat. Kazakhs/Central Asians still eat horse meat and lamb to this day. Now I do not get this Iran thing. Scythians are our ancestors. When Turks get their DNA tested, it comes up very mixed as well.

(天王) The Sarmatians spoke the Scythian language. The numerous Iranian personal names in the Greek inscriptions from the Black Sea coast indicate that the Sarmatians spoke a North-eastern Iranian dialect ancestral to Alanian-Ossetian.

(PerkeleGaming) That's not the origin of the word barbarian. It's because the Ancient Greek word for "blahblah" was barbar. Barbarian means someone who doesn't speak Greek. Greeks were pretty fond of beards, too, anyway.

(Hash N) The only living descendants of the Scythians are the Pashtuns [of Afghanistan and Pakistan and environs] and the Ossetians.

(Ersin aktaş) Sumerian+Scythian+Etruscan+Thracian+Pelasgian+Hattis=TURKS.

(SylviaErik) Amazing, we are all related!

(Huszar 63) Scythian=HUN=MAGYAR. This continuation was missed by Peterson! And Herodotus also wrote about the OLDEST nation before the Egyptians, UR, URU Solyma -- later HIERO (Josephus) = today JERUSALEM...

"Scythian" has long been a suspect term
WhiteWolf (July 5, 2017) edited by Wisdom Quarterly

The “discovery” of kurgans [complex "burial mounds" called stupas in Buddhism] coincided with other discoveries in the Russian (USSR) historical studies of the times. Early in the 18th century, the ruler Peter I of the emerging Russian Empire undertook to hire the best European historians to write [fabricate] a Russian history.

At the time, the budding empire was a quilt of hundreds of recently subjugated nations, both Slavic and non-Slavic. The need for a unifying ideology was urgent and so was the need for the ideological justifications of future acquisitions.

The superiority of the Slavs was a ruling axiom, but it needed historical validation. After much reading of the Russian Primary Chronicles, it was re-established that the Russian ruling class descended from the Scandinavians, and the Slavic folks came from the Carpathians.

V. Tatischev, M. Lomonosov, and N. Karamzin suggested that the Slavs traced back to Scythians or Sarmatians. The Scythians at that time were regarded as Turkic, and the Sarmatians as multi-ethnic Indo-Europeans.

Both classifications were mostly of a speculative nature. M.Z. Zakiev wrote in Genesis of Türks and Tartars (Moscow, 2003, pp. 139-140): “The theory of exclusive Iranian linguality of all tribes united by the common name of the Scythians seemed plausible when the Iranists conducted etymological studies of the Scythian written monuments only selecting the word (ethnonyms) with solely Iranian roots.

“However, the research circle of these monuments was extending. The problem was also approached by non-Iranists, in particular Turkologists and other linguists. In the scientific circulation were introduced words with non-Iranian roots, especially with the Türkic roots, indicating the presence in the union of the Scythian tribes Türkic-lingual tribes...

“The result is a vicious circle: archaeologists are guided by the opinion of linguists, the archaeological culture of the Scythian and Sarmatian period is attributed to the Iranian-speaking tribes, and the linguists-Iranists for confirmation of their theory refer to the findings of the archaeologists.”

M.Z. Zakiev (ibid.): “Notably, all the Turkologists that reached the Scythian materials and studied them themselves, unequivocally recognize the Türkic-linguality of the main composition of the Scythians and Sarmatians, and prove that with linguistic, ethnological, mythological, and archaeological evidence.”

The Scythians had kurgans (tumuli [stupas]), funeral carts, timber graves, dugouts, felt material in their graves, embalming of corpses, graves lined with wood, bedding of bark, reeds, round shaped bottom ceramic, and bone and copper cheek pieces, which Medieval Turkic peoples had but no ancient or Indo-European people had.

T.A. Mollaev in “A new perspective on the history of the Ossetian people” (2010, p. 6) writes: “This table shows irreconcilable difference between the ethnic passport of the Scythians, represented in the archaeological materials, and the Indo-European peoples... And also a complete equivalence in the corresponding characteristics of the medieval Türkic peoples with the Scythian nations in antiquity.”
T.A. Mollaev (ibid., p. 9): “The 'Iranists' explained the Scythian words in this mode: was taken any anthroponym, ethnonym, etc. recorded by the ancient written sources, then for it was randomly sought a lexical unit from Ossetian or other Iranian, and even from other Indo languages, phonetically more or less suitable. And after that had to be held that the result of that comparison for a lexical unit of the Scythian words is translated such and such from the Iranian languages.

“With that method, and with the same success, could be compared with the Scythian word the lexical units of any other languages in the world. And then, with some phonetical resemblance, declare the Scythian words as translations from those languages. D. Verkhoturov (cited per T.A. Mollayev, ibid., p. 15):

“Believing the Iranian theory, it follows that around the middle of the 1st millennium AD the Türks 'left' from the Altai, quickly captured and Türkified a huge 'Iranian world,' and did it so well that no trace and fragments of the old world have remained.

“Meanwhile, it is perfectly clear that the formation of such vast Türkic world took millennia. There is absolutely definite archaeological complex of the steppe peoples, first of all kurgan burials in timber graves, burials with horse, etc., which in the archaeological materials of the Eurasian steppe zone clearly continue their descent in the culture of the undeniably Türkic peoples.

“The beginning of the continuity ascend at least to the beginning of the 1st millennium BC.”

Yu.N. Drozdov (page 10): “...despite a large number of works produced to demonstrate the Türkic-speaking of the Scythian-Sarmatian people, the conclusions of their authors have not yet been accepted by the modern historical science. Perhaps their evidentiary base was not found to be convincing, or more likely these findings do not fit the commonly accepted historical concept.”

When the Moors Ruled in Europe -- Real Black History Revealed by Bettany Hughes

We were rulers now mocked
Bettany Hughes tears the lid off Eurocentric racism to reveal Europe's black past. Africans once ruled the Continent, a history that has been erased and denied for centuries. What really motivated the Spanish Inquisition? What has the Holy Roman Empire and its "Holy Roman Church" (of imperial, universal Catholicism) been trying to conceal?

When the Moors Ruled in Europe is a documentary film presented by the British historian Bettany Hughes.

I love black until you teach me not to.
It is a two-part series about the contribution the Moors made to Europe during their 700-year reign in Spain and Portugal ending in the 15th century. The era ended with the Reconquista during which Catholic Church authorities burned over 1,000,000 Arabic texts. Filmed in the Spanish region of Andalusia, mostly in the cities of Granada, Cordoba, and the Moroccan city of Fes. First broadcast on England's Ch. 4 on Nov. 5, 2005.

EDITED COMMENTS
(HausOfAdonis) Are racists in denial? Even in view of facts, artworks, and literature all saying that these were black people? The word "Moor" means black...

(Chalmer79) It's crazy how people can have proof and facts right in front of them, and they still argue facts. But when asked to believe something that is completely fictional, with no proof whatsoever [that they accept without arguing. A pleasant lie is much easier to accept than a painful truth.] And while we are busy fighting over race, the super-rich turn us against each other to further their own agenda behind closed doors with nobody paying attention to them.

Chemtrails in the sky: What and why? (video)

Fake CGI livestream from NASA feed with fatal flaws and bloopers. See video below.

GEOENGINEERING
What the Hades are they spraying up there?
Geoengineering is the artificial modification of earth's climate systems through two primary ideologies, solar radiation management (SRM) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR).

CARBON DIOXIDE REMOVAL (CDR)
Carbon dioxide removal and sequestration uses artificial means, trees, ocean fertilization, and so on. These projects are for the most part declassified. This method of geoengineering is NOT the focus of GeoEngineeringWatch.org.

SOLAR RADIATION MANAGEMENT (SRM)
I have no idea. It looks like nano-aluminum.
Solar radiation management (SRM) is reflecting or blocking sunlight before it reaches the planet (as with cloud cover, particulate matter, "global cooling" strategies.

  • What in the World Are They Spraying? The Chemtrail/Geo-Engineering Coverup Revealed: We can see crisscrossing (crosshatch, hashtag) streaks of white "clouds" trailing behind jet aircraft, from horizon to horizon, eventually [absorbing moisture and] turning the sky into a murky, gauzy haze. Something tells us these are not the condensation vapor trails (contrails) from hot jet engines. Let's probe two questions, Who and why is someone doing this? This video explains a rapidly growing industry called "geo-engineering." It is driven by governments, corporations, and nonpublic scientists intent on altering the global climate, controlling the weather, and changing the chemical composition of soil [making it too alkaline to grow plants] and water [making it too contaminated to safely drink] -- all supposedly for the betterment of humankind. Though some officials insist these programs are only in the discussion phase, evidence is plentiful that they have been underway since about 1990. The effects have been devastating on crops, wildlife, and human health. We are being sprayed with toxic substances (nano particles) without our consent. And to add insult to injury, they are lying about it. Produced by G. Edward Griffin, Michael Murphy, and Paul Wittenberger (realityzone.com/whatspray....). What Are They Spraying? Investigate
The ability of stratospheric sulfate aerosols to create a global dimming (and cooling) effects has made them a candidate for geoengineering projects.

The purpose would be to limit the effect and impact of climate change due to rising levels of greenhouse gases [particularly methane, which in the short run if up to 1,000 times more heat-trapping than carbon dioxide].

Delivery of precursor sulfide gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S) or sulfur dioxide (SO2) by artillery, aircraft, and balloons has been proposed.

Tom Wigley calculated the impact of injecting sulfate particles, or aerosol dispersants, every one to four years into the stratosphere in amounts equal to those lofted by the volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991.

But Wigley did not address the many technical and political challenges involved in potential geoengineering efforts. If found to be economically, environmentally, and technologically viable, such injections could provide a “grace period” of up to 20 years before major cutbacks in greenhouse gas emissions would be required, he concludes.

WARNING: You will look up, you will question, you will be ridiculed and dismissed!
(Truthmediaproduction) Now that we know WHAT, the question to ask is WHY?
  • Why In The World Are They Spraying: People around the world are noticing that our planet's weather is dramatically changing. They are also beginning to notice the long lingering trails left behind airplanes. This has lead millions to accept that chemtrail spraying/geoengineering programs are a reality. Could there be a connection between chemtrails and severe weather? While there are many agendas associated with these damaging programs, evidence is now abundant that proves that geoengineering can be used to control weather. This documentary shows how aerosols sprayed into our sky are used in conjunction with other technologies to control our weather... Directed/produced by Michael J. Murphy. Produced/edited by Barry Kolsky. Written by Michael J. Murphy and Barry Kolsky (witwats.com).
Paul Crutzen proposes direct delivery of precursors. This would typically be achieved using sulfide gases such as dimethyl sulfide, sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbonyl sulfide, or hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

These compounds would be delivered using artillery, aircraft (such as the high-flying F15C), or balloons. Use would result in the formation of compounds with the sulfate anion SO42.

According to estimates by the Council on Foreign Relations, “one kilogram of well placed sulfur in the stratosphere would roughly offset the warming effect of several hundred thousand kilograms of carbon dioxide.”

CHEMTRAILING
Chemtrailing is the public's term for the classified and ONGOING artificial modification of earth's climate systems using reflective nano-materials (aerosols, particulate matter) to reflect sunlight. These aerosols are dispersed via jet aircraft trails that expand into reflective artificial clouds. More

But NASA and NOAA wouldn't lie to us
