Hustler founder Larry Flynt dead at 78
I'd give it all up to NOT be shot and paralyzed.
Larry Claxton Flynt — the notorious pornographer and smut peddler who built an empire of filth out of his “Hustlermagazine and fashioned himself into a "champion" of the First Amendment — died when his heart gave out on Wednesday. He was 78.

The high school dropout Porn King Flynt, who profited from peoples' addiction to gambling by running casinos, succumbed to heart failure at his Hollywood Hills home, his nephew, Jimmy Flynt Jr., confirmed to The Associated Press (ap.org).

Flynt, whose death was first reported by the flashbang gonzo press core at TMZ, had suffered from a slew of health problems since a 1978 murder assassination attempt that left him paralyzed from the waist down (but thanks to modern advances in science still able to have sex with help).

The controversial mogul and self-described First Amendment champion was known for challenging the establishment and his myriad legal battles involving free speech, press freedom, and anti-obscenity/pornography regulations.

He often clashed with feminist groups and the religious right, and he was once sued by Moral Majority televangelist Reverend Jerry Falwell in a case that made it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Flynt was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the Oscar-nominated 1996 film, “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” which chronicled the pioneering hardcore pornographer’s life, including his court clash with Rev. Falwell. Flynt appeared in the movie playing the judge that convicted him. More
Is masturbation a "sin" in Buddhism?

What? I've never done that! I'm red from the sun.
First of all, there are NO "sins" in Buddhism. But even if there were, sin is an archery term that literally means "missing the mark."

It is not the terrible thing we in the USA make of it, fearful and uncomfortable about all things sexual, as we are stemming from our Puritanical origins.

Karma (deeds) produce their results impersonally
A better question might be, Is masturbation (or even sexual ideation with pornography without self-flagellation or completion of the act) bad karma? More
