What trees can do. Let's save them (TEDx)

Archangel Ancient Tree Archive; Eco Radio (KPFK); Kelly Ani, Dhr. Seven, Wisdom Quarterly

California is home of the world's biggest tree.
Archangel Ancient Tree Archive
is already making a difference. Help is needed to make a bigger impact. BECOME A FUNDRAISER to help the Ancient Tree Archive collect, clone, archive the genes of great trees, and replant them for future generations. "This is not our planet," a great Native American teacher once said, "we're just borrowing it from future generations." So long as we think we're the end, Gen Z (and the end of the alphabet), we may thrash the planet then try to sign up to Elon Musk's pipedream of moving to Mars for a $2,000,000 boarding pass. Help Arch Angel reach the milestone that will allow it to expand its mission. Set an achievable – but ambitious – fundraising goal. Then increase it as fundraising efforts take off.
  • EcoJustice Radio (KPFK 90.7 FM)
presents environmental and climate stories from a social justice frame, featuring voices not necessarily heard on mainstream media. It amplifies community voices, broadening the reach of grassroots-based movements, to inspire environmental action. The aim is to educate and provide solutions for social and environmental justice and climate issues

David Milarch: Ancient trees for the Future
Dryads (devas) live in and over big trees.
(TEDx Jackson Hole) David Milarch is co-founder of the Archangel Ancient Tree Archive and a pioneer in the cloning of ancient trees. He works to preserve the genetic heritage of the world's last old growth forest giants. A fourth-generation nurseryman from Michigan, he and his sons have propagated more than 90 species, including the tallest redwoods.

TALK: Milarch tells the story of the work of cloning ancient trees and explores the relationship we have lost between our planet, our climate, and our forests, as well as what is left that can be saved, reclaimed, and utilized with a new approach. More: ancienttreearchive.org
