Party: Oh Happy Days Reunion (6/1)

WHAT HAPPENED?
Building may be gone, spirit lives on
Potluckers gathered to cook on four separate stoves in a very green garden with wild birds singing that made the mindfulness instructions seem easier to incorporate. New stimuli in an unfamiliar garden allows all of the senses become alive to what the feet are feeling (sensing), what fragrances of vegan food cooking are wafting, what sights and sounds are being taken in with new faces and networking opportunities, old friends and new fellows in acts of collective compassion, and finally the many delicious flavors from the grill, gluten-free vegan protein doused with Korean BBQ sauces over brown rice angels hair noodles and fresh kale, strawberry cheese cake from Silverlake. The sixth sense (the mind) had many delights to watch dispassionately with great interest but not self-interest, not "How does it relate to me?" reckoning, measuring, surmising, simply taking in. The health community in Altadena-Pasadena has remained cohesive and strong with loving bonds for Oh Happy Days Vegan Cafe and grocery. Music, slam poetry, and heartfelt talks were featured as we ate more than we could comfortably hold -- Korean, Mediterranean, Indian, Mexican, all-American grilled veggies, baked potatoes, kombuchas, punches, teas, and all of the usual entrees. The guest of honor was overwhelmed with the show of affection and enthusiasm for bringing back the store.

Survivor John Hopkins
Once upon a time, there was a vegan restaurant, grocery store, and vitamin shop in Altadena (Los Angeles) called Oh Happy Days.
It was in a time warp and felt like a den of vegetarian hippies and an old-timey General Store after hiking down on Lake Avenue from the Cobb Estate (home of Groucho Marx) and White City, looking down on LA, Orange County, even Santa Monica Bay and Catalina Island.

We are all Friends in the new Los Angeles
The local Native Americans -- now called the Kizh (Tongva, Gabrielenos) -- must have loved the view of their land next to Hahamog'na (headwaters to the LA River starting Pasadena, near the Rose Bowl), east of the Tataviam Tribe in the Valley (FernandeƱo), They would have loved it more if they could eat here with the hippies and health conscious.

Burned in Eaton Fire

The shop burned down in the Eaton Fire, along with the owner's Altadena home, vehicles, and those of his workers. Read all about his harrowing survival:

John Hopkins controls the music like The Fonz
Clearing the Eaton Fire debris has taken months, due to its size and also clearing Pacific Palisades. But things are developing apace.

In the meantime, before it formally reopens, Oh Happy Days is returning to its monthly Potluck Parties with a REUNION (with music and mindfulness meditation) at nearby home:

'Killing Me Softly' Roberta Flack killed

Should we blame old age for taking celebrities away?
(Quiet Wisdom) Feeling left behind by age? These 5 Buddhist truths will change everything

Who made most influential music in the US?
The headline should maybe read "Roberta Flack killed softly." If one is DOA (dead on arrival) on a hospital gurney, one has been killed by something. Humans don't just die but are killed: knocked out by microbes, murdered by suicide or negligence, undermined by malnutrition from eating gluten in the guise of old age (that strips away intestinal lining, resulting in grey hair and chronic malnourishment), and deficiencies of vital micronutrients like the 65 or more trace minerals needed for life as Dr. Joel Wallach reveals on Coast to Coast AM and criticalhealthnews.com). Though listed as natural causes, what's natural about dying too soon? Humans are meant to live to 120, and that number seems to be growing in the normal fluctuation of the average human lifespan.

Roberta Flack dead at 88

Roberta Cleopatra Flack, 88, is most famous for her fabulous song "Killing Me Softly." In this case, the killer was His Song. The song is so powerful that Lauryn Hill of the Fugees revived it and slayed a whole new generation with it.

When I was a child, my mother took me to Magic Mountain, and we rode the tram over everyone. Down in the square Roberta Flack was singing this song (or a cover band was covering it). It seized me, a boy who could not possibly understand what the song was even about. But I did understand the feeling if not the entire context. And I could hear the words, and I wanted to run to it, to be mesmerized.

I tugged at my mom's hand to stop the tram and take me there. But there was no doing, no choice but to be carried away to the tram's destination even as the song carried me away. All I wanted to see was who was making these magic sounds and how. Music always affected me much more than it seemed to affect others. Finally, the tram came to its conclusion with the song, and I desperately ran back to the square in search of the stage and the singer. But there was no finding where that had been. I asked my mom for help: Who was it? Where is it? Where do singers sing? She didn't know. No one knew. No one else seems to have taken notice that the most beautiful song in the world had just been sung. An angelic ET lands on Earth, and no one takes any special notice. Who knew she had been alive all this time up until today?

Moving beyond COVID lies (Dr. B. Ardis)

Moving Beyond the COVID-19 Lies: Restoring Health and Hope for Humanity (Dr. Bryan Ardis)
.
Recovering from long COVID
Guest Dr. Bryan Ardis (thedrardisshow.com), is a nutritionist, doctor of chiropractic, and alternative medicine practitioner.

In this audio, he shares his groundbreaking research into the treatment of "Long COVID," as well as how we can identify and eliminate toxins (krait snake venom proteins, heavy metals, nanobot technology) in the human body to heal properly.

Reflecting on the devastating impact of the pandemic (plandemic), Dr. Ardis notes that there are "7,000,000 people dead...and 1.6 to 1.9 million of that total came in the United States," which has less than 3 percent of the world's population.

His personal connection to the crisis began when he lost his father-in-law due to what he said was "a very ill-advised hospital protocol" involving the antiviral drug Remdesivir (which he dubbed "Run, death is near"), which he claims has a higher death rate than no treatment at all.

Dr. Ardis criticizes the commonplace narrative that COVID originated from a bat, suggesting instead that "labs like Wuhan are [purposely developing and] designing more deadly [gain of function] pathogens."

He also calls attention to the ongoing symptoms stemming from Long COVID, stating, "Millions around the world currently are battling ... trying to recover their own health."

He cites a January 2023 study where Long COVID patients wearing a 7-milligram nicotine patch for only six days experienced a complete disappearance of their symptoms, which include the loss of taste and smell, brain fog, and insomnia.
  • Natural plant nicotine (not cancerous, chemically-treated corporate cigarettes or other smoked or chewed tobacco products) is a healing herb.
  • Bungarotoxin from krait snakes is a cause
  • Another major cause is king cobra venom
  • Ozempic and Wegovy are Hila monster venom (a segment of protein in a sea of chemicals that will spur on "turbo cancer")
  • There is NO mRNA in the miracle Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer and other Big Pharma firms, according to their own science, as they try to prove they are not responsible for people contracting the pandemic. So it was all a bunch of lies, and the goal of the "plandemic" was to get shots in arms at all costs, as people gave in to the terror

.
Further, the study found no dependency or adverse effects from the patches, he reports. Dr. Ardis also notes that smokers are less affected by COVID due to nicotine's binding to viral proteins, similar to venom proteins and peptides from snakes like the king cobra.

Dr. Ardis further contends that government censorship and misinformation have obscured the effectiveness of real nicotine, as well as the drug ivermectin (which binds to nicotine receptors).
He also highlights the importance of dietary supplements, particularly Zinc and Vitamin C, in bolstering immunity. During the pandemic, "Zinc was the Number One thing everybody should have been taking to prevent worse health outcomes," he says.
