Zarna Garg (born Feb. 15, 1975) [1] is an Indian American stand-up comedian and screenwriter. CNBC says she is "the zany, outspoken voice of the Indian American woman" [2]. She is also a New York Times bestselling author.
ZG is a "Desi" (a member of the Indian diaspora) comedian at Zarna Garg.com. Desi a loose term used to describe the peoples, cultures, and products of the Indian subcontinent and their diaspora [4], deriving from the Sanskrit देश (deśá), meaning "land" or "country" [5]. It traces its origin to people from South Asia: India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh and is sometimes extended to include the Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Maldives, and Bhutan. More: Desi
Born in India, she lived in Mumbai (Bombay) as a teenager. Her Indian father demanded that she get married the day after her mother died, which was when she was 14.
Why are we Americans overachievers?
Rather than submit to an arranged marriage, she moved out of the house and stayed with friends and family [4]. Eventually, she emigrated to the USA to live with her sister in Akron, Ohio [2][5].
She earned a BA degree in finance from the University of Akron and a JD (Juris Doctor) degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio [6].
After being a stay-at-home mother for 16 years, she was encouraged by her children to try stand-up comedy [7], so we have them to thank. More
(Access Hollywood) “South Park” returned Wednesday night [one night after JKL!'s return] and weighed in on Jimmy Kimmel’s nearly weeklong suspension.
In Episode 5 of Season 27, titled “Conflict of Interest,” the animated sitcom targeted Pres. Trump’s FCC Chairman Brendan Carr following his comments to a right-wing media figure that appeared to influence ABC’s decision to pre-empt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last week.
After Kimmel referenced the man who is accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk (suggesting he was much more likely a MAGA gun nut) during his Sept. 15 monologue, FCC's Carr appeared on conservative activist Benny Johnson’s podcast two days later and said:
“I mean, look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to change conduct to take action, frankly, on Kimmel or, you know, there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”
Now, “South Park” is using Carr’s own words in their latest episode as the FCC chairman lands in the hospital. Carr has since denied he was “threatening” ABC’s licenses, per
LIVE: Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, 31, shot at Utah Valley University | NBC
Clark Kent of MAGA influencers
(NOW NBC News) Smart-alecky conservative mouthpiece Charlie Kirk (co-founder of Turning Point USA) has been shot in the neck and chest area with immediate massive blood loss while he was debating peons at Utah University. He was gunned down in front of a giant crowd as he opined on TRANS ISSUES in addition to promoting Trump, right wing issues, pro-Christianity, anti-abortion, and fiscal conservatism to generate viral clips and "gotcha" moments on the internet.
Capitalism made my dad rich
He was rushed off and an incredible number of militants, paramilitary police, and undercover informants swarmed the area. Was it a set up? The wrong suspect (possibly an intentional diversion) was detained then released. The real shooter [possibly a trained agent] escaped. This was the start of Kirk's "American Comeback" Tour with his "prove me wrong" table. Sometimes bullets speak louder than loud words.
OPINION: Someone (some alphabet agency such as the CIA, DHS, FBI) is out to get LGBTQIA+ individuals, put them on lists, limit their rights, use them as the first to be taken (along with immigrants) into a New World Order envisioned by Pres. Bush. If the mainstream media can besmirch their name and make them out to be dangerous gun nuts, right wing gun nuts may attack them. Is Ben Shapiro now shaking in his Zionist boots?
Someone wants country to turn on LGBTQ folks
Rense.com has a chilling view on the pattern of making school shooters out to be not only pharmaceutically medicated incels but increasingly dissatisfied transgender folks. Will this serve as an excuse for strongman would-be dictator Trump to lock down the country and install himself as the American Putin? Or maybe it's only a coincidence that Kirk was treading on the delicate subject of transgenderism when he was shot. The Annunciation Church of Minneapolis was shot up by a totally organic and disgruntled Catholic trans individual whose mother previously worked there.
Will special protection originally intended for Kamala Harris now be diverted to protect our right wing influencers like Brett Cooper, Candace Owens, Bibi Shapiro, et al?
Patsy? Wrong suspect arrested. Shooter escaped.

(The Journal) Vajrashura is one of four full-time staff at the Dublin Buddhist Centre (DBC), which is a registered charity. Along with six other regular volunteers, they teach meditation to approximately 600 new students a year, and Buddhism to another 100. The DBC is the fulcrum of a wider community of 1,500 Buddhists in the Dublin area and has sister spiritual communities (or "Sanghas") in Killaloe, Clare, and Westport, County Mayo. Vajrashura grew up as Sean Boland in the west of Ireland, before coming across Buddhism in the TCD Meditation Society as a theoretical physics graduate. Now 39, he is a full-time Buddhist teacher and lives with two friends in a small Buddhist men’s community in Dublin 7. There, they meditate at 7:00 am each morning, breakfast together, and go off to work – in his case as manager of the DBC (jrnl.ie/3130287)

How the Catholic Church lost Ireland
Catholicism in Spain, Holy Week 2014
(Atlas Productions) July 12, 2025: How did Ireland go from one of the most devout Catholic nations in the world to a secular republic led by progressive values?
In 1979, over half the population turned out to greet Pope John Paul II. Just a generation later, Ireland legalized same-sex marriage, repealed its abortion ban, and witnessed a collapse in Catholic church attendance.
What happened?
This video traces the dramatic decline of the Catholic Church’s power in Ireland—from its dominance in education, health, and politics to the wave of scandals that shattered its moral authority.
Through archival footage, personal stories, referendums, and cultural shifts, we explore how modern Ireland was born by challenging the institution that once defined it.

LGBTQIA+ community in meltdown after Pope Leo XIV says marriage is between a man and a woman
But I wanted to a priest-trainee in seminary!!
(Sky News Australia)
May 18, 2025: Pope Leo XIV was inaugurated (installed) with a ceremony in the Holy See (Vatican City, a small country in the heart of) Rome [that continues the reign of the Holy Roman Empire over the world] over the weekend, which saw global leaders come together to mark the momentous occasion.
The appointment of Pope Leo XIV sees a return to the Catholic Church’s roots.
The new [Italian-Black, Creole] pope confirmed in a meeting with the Vatican diplomatic corps that the family is founded on the “stable union between a man and a woman” [rather than LGBTQIA+ unions, emphasizing only one woman and one man, putting the kibosh on our polyamorous dreams of multiple married partners if we stay in the Church.]

(Zen Confidential) May 8, 2025: A Patron sent me an email that basically says, "I have a friend who just found Jesus, and she's driving me CRAZY!!"
Why is she driving him crazy? It's because my Patron's friend is convinced that there is ONLY ONE true religion, one way or path, and she thinks anyone who doesn't follow it -- that is, anyone who doesn't go "full Yazoo" -- is on AC/DC's Highway to Hell.
Is there ONLY ONE TRUE WAY? My Patron wants to know.
Yes, is my answer. There IS just one true way.
Darby Crash, frontman of the Germs and an early Hollywood Zen Buddhist, wrote "The Slave," which goes: "It starts in your head/ And moves to your hands/ Your body starts shakin'/ 'Cause you're in demand/ You do the slave to the beat/ Of the neuro-sutra can can// You're lashed 'twixt the stars/ With your ice and motor cars/ You do the slave to the beat/ Of the neuro-sutra can can// Oh yea, yea, pull out the Zen/ I've got a Buddhist principle in my hand/ Your life seems wasted/ Your bodies laced in/ Don't stop now, you've got to trace it/ You put your hands together/ Writhe in the shackle/ You twist your body round/ 'Til it starts to crackle/ You do the slave to the beat/ Of the neuro-sutra can can// Right here right now/ Shake it in and out now/ Lights on off now/ Make it spin and fight now"
Unfortunately, it's different for absolutely everyone!
Let's touch on a lot of the basics that make Zen [and other forms of Buddhism] different from "religions."
For one thing, in Zen there is nothing to "believe" in [except maybe Taoism]. There is a practice, and there are principles, and the practitioner puts those principles into practice. That's kind of it.
What is Catholicism? It's Universalism
The main practice is zazen ("sitting meditation"), often defined as shikantaza ("just sitting"). Through this practice, attention is cultivated. But even this is saying too much.
Speaking of not speaking, we could say that Zen is the practice of not filling silences. To wit, there is the Great Silence from which we all come and to which we all go. Religion kinda sorta sometimes puts a great big Jesus statue right in the center of that silence, or a great big Buddha statue right there in the middle of serene silence.
It tries to fill the void, the peace of silence, as if it could improve on it, gilding the lily, giving the snake legs, papering over the gaps and blanks, pretending that we can fill the not-knowing with some kind of knowing.
But in the end, the job of a spiritual practice is not to remove uncertainty. Rather, in my experience at least, a practice humbles us before that uncertainty. There's a big difference. Every time I think I finally found the One True Way, something changes -- me, the world around me, the situation, life -- and I have to change along with it, grow, go with the flow, and keep going, keep living, keep not knowing.
No fake certainty!
