The pyramid-cultures all built “Triptych” three-door temples with the door in the middle wider and taller than the two flanking it. The abundant occurrence of the Triptych across the ancient world is not a random coincidence.

The Triptych represents more than merely an architectural element, it is the chief symbol of an advanced universal religion that was once shared all over earth in antiquity, mainly by the pyramid cultures.

The discovery of the Triptych provides, for the first time, conclusive evidence that ancient cultures worldwide shared the same spiritual beliefs. It also indicates that these cultures did not evolve independently. Rather, they were probably descended from the same more remote parent source.

By its own admission the Roman Catholic Church is a continuation, the overtly surviving aspect of the "Holy Roman Empire. It was "Saint"/Emperor Constantine's psy-op (psychological operation, public relations, and propaganda campaign) to rule a massive and disparate imperial realm. This is not elitist Jewish-Christianity, it is universal Christianity and so it is called Catholicism from the word catholic, "universal." Five hundred princes wanting to rule parts of Italy found a way to get incredibly rich and stay in power by creating the most successful patriarchal corporation in history.

It is not a democracy but a severe militant organization with top-down rule from the "father" (pope/head patriarch) and the heavenly "sky-father" above that. The angels are legions of "hosts," armies, battalions, forces, good-guy militants in this conception. It is much the same in some forms of Buddhism around the figure of Sakka, King of the Devas (King of Kings, Lord of Lords), a kind of St. Michael archangel figure, who rules over the Realm of the Four Great Sky Kings or Regents and another "heaven" one level up, where 33 "lords" (ruling-devas) are led by him.

Like militant, patriarchal, and sexist Catholicism, Mahayana Buddhism (the much larger universalist branch of the tradition) idolizes not the historical Buddha but the Goddess of Mercy Kwan Yin, Buddhism's Virgin Mary.

The human who became the Buddha, that is, the "Awakened One," was born Prince Siddhartha Gautama in a part of the world now known as Central Asia, between East and West. Dr. Ranajit Pal specifies Prince Siddhartha's hometown as modern Bamiyan, Afghanistan (not Nepal). Of course, Siddhartha was raised in three hometowns, three seasonal capitals. It is our conjecture that the other two were Kabul (Kapilavatthu or Kapilapura, the original site of the real Kapilavastu) and Mes Aynak (Little Copper Well).

1. Lived to the age of 80 but could have lived an entire lifetime, an age, a kalpa (120 years at that time) had he willed it.
2. Had blues eyes, curly black hair, golden skin, and was tall and had other striking features.
3. Mother passed away a week after his birth and her sister, married to the same Shakyan King Suddhodana, raised him and later became history's first Buddhist nun.
4. Had a wife, his royal cousin Bimba Devi (called Princess Yasodhara and later the enlightened nun Ven. Bhaddakaccana), whom he married at 16 and a son, the future king (called Rahula and later the enlightened monk Ven. Rahula), who was born when Siddhartha was 29.
5. Left home, renouncing the throne, at 29 in order to save his extended family, the Shakya Clan, and people; returned seven years later to do just that -- spreading the Buddha-Dharma in Afghanistan at the same time it was being spread in proto-India (unconsolidated Magadha, Savatthi, Benares, etc.)

6. Had two yoga teachers (Alara Kalama and Uddaka Ramaputta) before setting off on his own to engage in more self-destructive austerities then to practice the meditative absorptions (jhanas, dhyanas) that led to direct realization and enlightenment at age 35.

   Set out to establish a non-Vedic shraman Dharma and a monastic community of nuns and monks and female and male lay followers, as buddhas had in the past, understanding that gender is no impediment to attaining the stages of enlightenment in this very life and in his life was called not a
   Buddhist but a Karma-vadin, a "Teacher of the Importance of Intentional Action."
8. Started history's first universal "world religion" along with the only two other more recent world religions, Catholicism (a popular form of imperial Christianity) and Islam.
9. Reluctantly performed miracles, not wanting the display of magical powers (siddhis) to overshadow the paramount importance of the liberating teachings he rediscovered, which are called the Dharma and those who attain what he attained by following the Dharma, the Noble Sangha.
10. He was reborn for his final birth on earth and realized Buddhahood here but did not limit his teachings to humans, instead making known the Dharma to devas, "shining ones" (fairies and space beings) from all over the galaxy, universe, or dimensions of samsara as the case may be.

The number of Buddhists around the world is grossly under-estimated. The statistics found in nearly all encyclopedias and almanacs place the number of Buddhists at approximately 500 million. This figure completely ignores over one billion Chinese people who live in the People's Republic of China.

While China is officially "communist" (although many free market conditions are already in place), it does not keep records on religion statistics. Another problem is that many Western reference sources refuse to accept that a person can belong to more than one religion. In Asia it is quite common for one person to have two, three, or more religions. In China, it is extremely common for a family to have a shrine in their home with statues and icons from Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism.

Currently there are about 1.3 billion Chinese living in the People's Republic. Surveys (Gach-Alpha Books, U.S. State Dept. report on China, Global Center for the Study of Contemporary China, BBC News, China Daily, and a report by Christian missionaries in China) have found that about 8% to 91% identify Buddhism as one of their religions.

A percentage near the upper end of this estimate, or about 80%, works out to there being about 1.1 billion Chinese Buddhists. To ignore over one billion people as if they do not count is a terrible miscount and very misleading in the reporting of adherents. A Chinese Buddhist forum (bskk.com) currently has about 60,000 registered members and over 2 million posts, which is about double the amount of the largest English language Buddhist forum (which also has Chinese Buddhists participating in the discussions). But to be above reproach, a more conservative estimate is also shown (see below).

• U.S. State Department report: approximately 8% to 40% (the report lists 8% but then states that there are "hundreds of millions" of Chinese who practice various religions together, which includes Buddhism).

• Seanetwork.org (article by Dr. A. Smith, 2004): approx. 50% to 80%
• Global Center for the Study of Contemporary China: approx. 23% to 98% (the report lists 23% but states that as many as 98% follow more than one religion, which includes Buddhism).
• Gach, Alpha Books, 2001: approx. 91%
