Elfman's best song came right at the beginning, "I'm Afraid," with the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo. He had a great role in his twin Ginger brother's movie Forbidden Zone, a rare cult classic.

(Oingo Boingo Tapes) "I'm Afraid" is the first ever song released under the name Oingo Boingo, although it was mostly likely recorded as the Mystic Knights just before the change. It was played at Mystic Knights shows in 1979 and kept through Oingo Boingo shows until early 1980. It’s probably the only Mystic Knights song that went unchanged as Oingo Boingo, while others were given a new wave twist. This was released later that year on a compilation album of upcoming LA New Wave bands, by which time the Mystic Knights had reformed as Oingo Boingo.

This live show will feature Danny Elfman backed by an all-star rock band and the same orchestra and choir he played with during his set at Coachella in 2022 and the Halloween weekend shows at the Hollywood Bowl.

They will perform songs from Oingo Boingo; his solo career, including his 2021 album Big Mess; a plethora of his film scores and television themes from Alice in Wonderland, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Simpsons, and more.
