Buy Nothing Day: econ boycott (2/28)
"Economic blackout" is planned for Friday, Feb. 28, 2025
Stick it to The Man! (Make him wait a day)
"Buy Nothing Day," will it work? Will American "consumers" really boycott capitalism and the markets? An American meditation teacher in Chicago is sure they will at least take notice of the problem and help cement a lasting solution, unless the corporations align and undermine efforts to do anything but buy, sell, and shut up (while watching Netflix, chilling, and finding some legal source of inebriation to order online and have delivered by EV care of Postmates.com or some such Uber Lyft disruptor that makes our cushy life even easier and more dissatisfying.
