The Linda Lindas go hardcore punk

KROQ storms Bear Mountain (Sierra Madre range) with The Linda Lindas punk rock band

Linda Lindas 'Too Many Things' (Rolling Stone)
Beloved girl band Las Pretty Prettys gets lots of love from LA's formerly-alternative radio station KROQ.com. They were invited to perform at the station's annual Acoustic Xmas jamboree and this past weekend at Bear Mountain ski resort for a special
Snow Summit event. They've grown up a little and gotten tough. Now the singer screams and roars, and the guitarist jumps around, which is progress. This ain't no kiddy party but a Bikini Kill, L7, riot grrrl music to mosh to mess, or at least it seems to be going in that direction.

The Linda Lindas LIVE

The geology of California's Sierra Nevada Mountain range

Geology of Sierra Nevada (California, USA)
(Solomon's Outdoor Adventures) Feb. 19, 2025: How were the Sierra Nevada Mountains formed? What is their bedrock geology, uplift history, and glaciation during the last ice age? New episodes of Solomon's Outdoor Adventures post every week (either Sundays or mid-week, depending on my schoolwork workload as I strive to become the world's greatest geologist in my spare time).

[DIY is so punk: Nerd alert!] All footage, photography, audio, and visual animations/diagrams are my own unless otherwise cited, and taking any elements of them without my permission is a breach of copyright law. This channel is a one-man team that works hard to do its own research, write its own script, record its own voiceovers, film its own footage, and design its own animations and visuals to get these videos out to everyone [so they can try to pilfer elements of it without crediting me!] I NEVER use AI in my videos, and I do NOT use stock footage, which would be so lazy, as I pride myself on using my own videography.

How this content was made: Auto-dubbed audio tracks for some languages were automatically generated. [What, not enough time to learn those languages and dub them in? Lazy, Solo-Man, lazy.] Learn more.
