Foraging edible wild plants, L.A. (Jan. 27)

Join an afternoon walk to explore some of the many edible and medicinal plants commonly found in Southern California.

The School of Self-Reliance's Christopher Nyerges, author and expert, will lead a casual walk in mixed chaparral and riparian areas to collect a samples to make a tasty salad.

Bring along whatever is normally taken on a day hike: water bottle, sunscreen, and the like.
  • Saturday, 3:00-5:30 PM, Jan. 27, 2018. Class fee: $20.
  • LOCATION: Hahamongna Watershed Park (Pasadena). Drive into the park at the entrance at Oak Grove and Foothill. Drive south on the road until you see the outdoor bathrooms and then park. (Do not go down the hill). More + RSVP
