(Atlantean Gardens) The Irish legends mention Scotia, ancestor of the Gaels, as an Egyptian Princess who grew up in her North African kingdom at the time of the biblical Jewish prophet Moses. According to several references in medieval Irish mythology, Scotia was the wife of the former Milesius (Míl Espáine) and mother of six sons. She was killed in battle with the legendary Tuatha Dé Danann on the nearby Slieve Mish Mountains.
